seems good, is the shipping fee for all country worldwide?
or just some country?
will order it soon as possible...

I have one. It depends on which country you have it sent to but I believe they ship most places. I had one card sent to me while I was in the US, and another sent while I was in Europe.

Stop these scammers !

Trust me, you can't stop people from pouring their cash into another HYIP. It's not even greed, it's a gamble for most. They will do it over and over again till they have nothing to invest at all. Personal experience is what matters most in influencing people's attitudes towards scams.

How big do you think is the risk of just leaving 200+ coins on Stamp and wait for the next bubble? I mean if they come back, they effectively proven themselves to be trustworthy and pull through with their promises. And I bet they will increase their security measures even further.

Completely moved to BTC-E. Bitstamp will have to prove they are here to stay.

But BTC-E??? I mean they have proven to be pretty reliable and not to mess with peoples' BTC. But the people behind the exchange are completely unknown, if they wanted to disappear, I don't think anyone knew where to look for them. I don't know if that's the best choice then. What about Kraken?

Finally, Bitstamp is back, but the whole "hack" thing is too shady, you know. We'll probably never be lucky enough to know the real story behind the scenes. It all might be just an epic manipulation going on there. With BTC-E, I'm confident enough to store or trade some coins. Besides, in the Bitcoin world, you can trust nobody these days. Cons can't wait to get their hands on your coins.

after a dump there is a small return and then a dump again, don't be too happy, but i hope i'm wrong

Its all pipe dreams. People want massive returns but this is very unlikely

It is really unrealistic to think  that Bitcoin will go back to 1k+, i don't see any reason why

It's realistic. People from 2011 couldn't imagine the pike on the BTCUSD graph, which actually took place later in 2013-2014. And the 1k+ per BTC is what nobody can imagine now, though the price of $500-$600-$700 or more is quite possible this year. Quite possible.

Apparently they say they will resume operations in the next 24 hours:

Let's see. Hope this is not another BS. Though I have a relatively small amount with them compared to other members, it feels pretty crappy.

Why do you believe this algo to be accurate and reliable??

Where did OP say that?

If not why bother? x = x * 2 gives you a guaranteed exponential growth, but who cares. I'd want something that works  Smiley

Why do you believe this algo to be accurate and reliable?? From my experience, there are thousands of Forex algos out there and they often show nonpresumable peak growth even when backtesting, but in reality the price is unpredictable as there are too many fundamental factors in the game, especially when we talk about the Bitcoin market, which is too shady.

I know its hard to get rich, but what ways do you know that work to increase cash flow?

Make a currency and get everyone to use it. Tongue TMed idea by ndnhc

Or, if you're a bit late to the game, you can stamp & gox coins from the currency someone has already created before you.  Grin

Guys, am I the only one thinking this event and the latest price fall are all subtly linked together? We've been there before. IMO, Bitstamp team has something to do with this "hack" thing. Smiley

Wouldn't it make more sense that the hacker started to dump coins? He maybe just wanted to get rid of them and fill his pockets...

Apparently all the stolen coins are still in this address.

https://blockchain.info/address/1L2JsXHPMYuAa9ugvHGLwkdstCPUDemNCf

It's had no withdrawals from it yet.

Is it possible to have the wallet.dat and yet have no access to the coins? Why haven't they been tumbled yet?

It beats me. Maybe the hacker is too worried about getting busted to move the coins.

We should send a bitmessage to the hacker and ask him

Nah, he's too drunk from the good damn piece of stamped cheddar. LOL

I don't think Bitstamp is going to disappear overnight like Mt. Gox. They've got a lot to lose.

Quote
The company has generally been respected within the bitcoin community. In May 2014 it passed a proof-of-bitcoin-reserves audit overseen by BitcoinJ developer Mike Hearn, and in June it beat other bitcoin companies to win the Europas' Best Virtual Currency Startup Award.

A lesson learned from the whole Mt.Gox debacle is that they need to keep communicating. This doesn't seem to be a priority at the moment. I'm still wondering where that statement on coindesk came from. It isn't on their website or twitter. So how would customers know (apart from reading coindesk).

Having said that I don't think they'll go bust because of this. I've been using them since long before Mt.Gox started to slide and they've proven to be a reputable exchange.

Coindesk are as bad as mainstream media channels these days and had at least one outright BS article lately, this ones pushing ripple so wouldn't be surprised if there's FUD in there. Getting hard to get good news these days, this forums spammed by astroturfers and there's a lot of FUD on the popular news channels, especially the forex coverage. Hope when they've something to say its something good but the biggest scumbags on the planet are fighting back now so the only thing certain is coins you have the keys for.

what good news do you want? 50% fake transactions. the big exchangers are manipulating the price along with the Bitcoin Foundation, the exchangers are earning millions when the Bitcoin price is going down....this is the Bitcoin world; full of speculators and this how it will be from now on...I am not sure for how long...
there are not too many NEW fouls to "invest" Smiley

Exchangers earn very good on short-term price movements, but in the long-term downtrend "buy positions" secure only 70%-80% from the supply, in reality it' a sluggish bloodsucking.

Im wondering why does businesses that deal with btc end up getting hacked.

Almost all of the reasons are "We've been hacked".

Yeah, always the same. They're all hacked.
