THE POOR RISKS LITTLE TO WIN BIG WHILE THE RICH RICKS BIG TO WIN LITTLE
by
GLK_100
on 20/08/2025, 10:37:28 UTC
This makes gamble a game of luck to the poor and a game of strategy to the rich.

Ex:
RICH ($10,000 * 1.10 odds) = $11,000
POOR ($5 * 1000 odds) = $5,000

With this you can see that the chances of the Rich winning is very high up to 90% while the Poor only have 10% chance of winning which now is based on luck!
This makes me think about the saying that goes by "THE RICH IS GETTING RICHER WHILE THE POOR IS GETTING POORER"
The get rich quick mentality is killing the poor.

WHEN TWO BROTHERS FIGHT A STRANGER WILL INHERIT THEIR PROPERTY
by

The wise African proverb brings tears to my eyes when I think about what is happening in our dear Rivers state, how one brother in his greed put up a fight with another brother and now a stranger from another state is plundering what belongs to them.
I weep for my state not just that a stranger is ruling here but another stranger is doing election in the state. You may think this is in favor of one brother but the truth is, they are both losing!

Gmail Scam Attempt
by
GLK_100
on 16/08/2025, 20:30:15 UTC
Over the last week I was receiving emails saying someone in France and England was trying to recover my account. Obviously I declined the confirmation attempts and moved on.
Changed password. Confirmed my secondary recovery account and phone number information.

Today, I was called by a google number:

+1 (650) 253-0000

And a guy with a very Californian accent said he was contacting me from google because they saw some unauthorized attempts to access my account, and he wanted to confirm that with me— and help take steps to secure my account and prevent further recovery attempts from outside of the US.
He said he would need to send a confirmation prompt to my phone, and I’d have to accept it.

He sent an account recovery prompt from California, and said i need to accept the prompt to confirm my identity and ownership of the account.

He was trying to actively recover my account and steal possession of it, while on the phone with me.

I said “google would never operate this way, you’re scamming me.”
He assured me he wasn’t and that I could google search his phone number and see it was google, and said I could even call back and someone could reconnect our call if I wanted to be sure.

He was completely bluffing— as when you call that number you cannot get a human on the line. They don’t staff that line with agents.

Obviously, I didn’t accept the prompt but just wanted to catalog this somewhere so people searching in the future have something to read.

The best thing I’ve read regarding these attempts is “google will NEVER call you out of the blue. They don’t care about your account.” Be highly suspicious and never give anyone a code or password and never accept those recovery prompts unless you are 10000% certain YOU issued them.

My buying should be now, safer and not a gamble...
My conviction. Better to be safe, takes a while and be sure
Than be fast and get rugged.

What is your take? Are you still accumulating or taking a break!  Smile and don't forget cryptocurrency start with CRY! Lol

Re: Spending less than your income is key to financial stability
by

Well spoken mate!
But spending less compared to what you earn is not the ultimate way for becoming financial stable, the only way to be financially buoyant is making your money work for you.

When you receive salary try as much as you can to set a side amount of money for investment and look for a lucrative investment and put in your money.

Re: Do you gamble to earn money? Have you been successful?
by
GLK_100
on 05/02/2025, 23:54:19 UTC
Of course the only reason people gamble is to earn money, I've gamble a lot with this aimed and I end up losing money which makes me not successful in it but notwithstanding I know a lot of people who are very successful in the gambling business and this is where strategy comes in.
They use a clever strategy, focusing on low-risk bets with high stakes. They invest large amounts of money ($5k) in low-odds games (1.10 or 1.05), betting infrequently (once a week), and consistently winning smaller amounts ($500).

This approach requires discipline and capital which I was not having before but I'm now trying to develop it.
So in other words, if you can find a strategy that works for you and discipline yourself enough you can be successful in gambling.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25

Gonzalo García saves Real Madrid on the night to avoid a repeat of what happened between Real Madrid and Celta Vigo two weeks ago. Gonzalo jumps high to head home the cross from Diaz to make it 2 - 3 at the dead of added time after 90 minutes. This goal just prevented us from watching another 30 minutes of extra time on the night.

Men! This match against Leganes was a heart-stopper. When Leganes scored, making it 2-1, I got nervous, knowing their reputation for surprising teams in cup games. Thankfully, Real Madrid hung on, saving my bet and potentially a big payout!

The game exposed Real Madrid's defensive weaknesses, but their offense ultimately prevailed.
All thanks to Gonzalo García!
His stunning goal saved the day for Real Madrid, securing a 3-2 win and saving your bet!

Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL!

As long as a lot of people are still having doubts then my faith is strong, cause I know very soon the digital world will overshadow the whole world.
So all I've to do now is to position myself well by accumulating more now that is low (dip), of a truth the price might look funny now but in years to come you'll be in massive return.

Re: Who says it's too late to buy Bitcoin?
by
GLK_100
on 05/02/2025, 21:58:54 UTC
Buying bitcoin is never too late due to its immense potential. Despite its remarkable growth, bitcoin remains the most valuable asset to own today. Its value will continue to appreciate year after year.
Thinking it's too late is misguided, as it assumes bitcoin has reached its peak value – a notion everyone knows is untrue.

As the digital world expands, bitcoin's value will only continue to rise, leaving latecomers with regret.

So avoid regrets and take this advice, the future of finance is digital, and bitcoin is leading the way, get on board and stock your wallet!
You'll be happy you did!

Re: The end of market cycles? Why holding might be the only winning strategy
by
GLK_100
on 05/02/2025, 21:24:33 UTC
Well said mate!
The issue of timing has always been my watch door, which resolve to me losing a lot of money, then I always think that is all about buying low and selling high, and in so doing I'm always conscious of time looking at the trade.
I was always having little time frame consideration, not knowing the real play has to do with long time frame.
