I also have been having issues.  I have a long running support ticket involving a missing money order and was going to communicate with the help desk but couldn't because login prompted me to enter 2FA.  Has CampBX updated anyone on the situation?  Do we have any recourse for this situation?

Status of CampBX? Legal recourse?
by
GMD1987
on 12/06/2014, 16:07:46 UTC
Does anyone know what is going on with CampBX?  About 3 months ago I sent a money order to CampBX and 2 months ago support clarified that they did in fact receive it and would process it in a few weeks.  Unfortunately the latest posting of Keyur @ Camp BX (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15102;sa=showPosts) are about 3 months old.  It seems the exchange was dying off right around the time I was making those deposits; what happened?  Also, is there any legal recourse for this?  Can I take them to small claims court, report them to the BBB or GA district attorney or sue them/file in a joint lawsuit?

Selling anything on Amazon for BTC
by

I received an Amazon GC instead of a cash payment that netted me a 10% bonus.  I now have $880.00 of credit in my Amazon account.  Willing to buy anything and ship anywhere on amazon.com for BTC at Bitstamp market price.  You pay shipping and escrow costs if necessary.   Low posts here but I have a localbitcoins.com account with lots of feedback.  Please reply or PM for more details.

Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service

I am looking for enough CANBUS and barrel jack adapters (or even a Supernova 1000 G2 PSU) to power 3 20 chip BitBurner modules.  Are ordering these items through Burnin even possible any more?  If not, I am accepting offers for the above items by PM, preferably with expedited shipping, as I expect my BitBurners to be shipped by the end of the week.

yes, but payment is only possible through bitpay or wire transfer.
As shipping you can select local pickup and reference the original order in the customer notes.
Thanks for the update Burnin and all the hard work you do.  Are any of the barrel jack adapters available?  The website says they are all sold out and 1000W seems a bit overkill for 3 BitBurner modules.  It may be my only option though.

Re: [GLBSE] BFLS.RIG - BFL Hardware mining & Sales
by
GMD1987

If you no longer want to deal with BFLS/BFLS.RIG then buy out the shareholders, as per the original terms:

BFLS: $600/200 shares is $3.00 per share.
BFLS.RIG: $15295/6058 shares is $2.52 per share.
The really big problem is that the asic upgrade is not factored there. If Josh doesn't want to deal with this further, the best way would be to liquidate everything after the conversion to asics, by auctioning them. This would guarantee a correct book value for the shares, based on the current value of asic hardware.
Yes, I agree with that. Existing BFLS and BFLS.RIG shares would be converted to 'ASIC' shares using formulas found earlier in this thread, meaning that additional shares would be created and assigned to Josh. The ASIC (and remaining FPGA) equipment would be auctioned off with the proceeds distributed according to how many shares are held.

I have stated numerous times that I would prefer to continue as a shareholder here, but I respect the terms of the original contract which states that should the operator be unable or unwilling to continue, the assets would be liquidated and the proceeds disbursed. If that is what Josh decides to do, it is his decision to make.
+1 for preferring to continue as a shareholder.  That being said, if a liquidation is forthcoming, I think an auction would be the best way to go about doing so.

Re: [ANN] cbitcoin 2.0 - A Bitcoin Library in C
by

MatthewLM,
On Linux crunchbang 3.2.0-0.bpo.4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.2.35-2~bpo60+1 i686 GNU/Linux, cloned and ran ./configure && make test.  Error on openssl libs, apt-get installed libssl-dev zlib1g-dev, tried again but got the following for dependencies/random/CBRand.c
dependencies/random/CBRand.c: In function ‘CBNewSecureRandomGenerator’:
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:33: error: cast from pointer to integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c: In function ‘CBSecureRandomSeed’:
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:38: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c: In function ‘CBRandomSeed’:
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:41: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:42: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c: In function ‘CBSecureRandomInteger’:
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:45: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:45: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:47: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size
dependencies/random/CBRand.c: In function ‘CBFreeSecureRandomGenerator’:
dependencies/random/CBRand.c:51: error: cast to pointer from integer of different size

Looking at the code, uint64_t was used (and designed for this sort of error, no?)
bool CBNewSecureRandomGenerator(uint64_t * gen){
        *gen = (uint64_t)malloc(32);
        return *gen;
}

Do you know what's going on here?  I'm pretty sure the cast it's referring to is in the assignment.  I think this was initially a warning converted to an error and just turning off pedantic would solve it but would be antithetical to a make test  Cheesy
