Hey all sorry for the Block Explorer not syncing.  I can't get any connections to the gridcoin daemon since upgrading to the latest version.  Please let me know if you have any other addnodes other then the supernode.
Try node.gridocoin.us instead of supernode.gridcoin.us, it was renamed

Just download the current version here: http://www.gridcoin.us/download/gridcoin.msi

For upgrading by debug console make sure gridcoin is running with administrator rights!

Why CPIDs is same?

Thats because these projects are related to the same mail address, if this is the one you used in your gridcoin.conf you have 4 projects being candidates for gridcoin. Once again, only if you have at least 1 valid project you will be able to mine. A valid BOINC project for gridcoin does have the following characteristics:
- at least 100 RAC
- the mailaddress you used for registration of the BOINC project is same as in the gridcoin.conf
- you joined team gridcoin for that project (you did only for milkyway according to your data)
- it needs to be on the gridcoin whitelist (seti@home beta test is not whitelisted)

None of your project listed above fullfills these requirements so you are not able mine.

Regarding the boincappdir=C:\Program Files\BOINC\ boincdatadir=C:\ProgramData\BOINC\, these parameters should only be needed in case you installed BOINC to a non-default location in your case it looks like the default location. Make sure that you correct or remove them.

change boincappfolder to boincappdir and boincdatafolder to boincdatadir

you have to type "execute resetcpids" in console for that command to work!

after i try upgrade client, in progress "upgrade sqlite3.dll" i has red error (((

after esecuted resetcpid nothing change in mining console. I has BINC magnitude 0.
But all time i see MD5 BOINC hash... maybe i must insert MD5 in my name in configuration "milkyway"?
I understund about "execute resetcpids" i try... but nothing happen. But console say me

Thats ok 1 means successfully executed

If you are still using the old version try to use the download from gridcoin.us instead. if it still fails uninstall the old version first

What projects must be added? And must be added on GridRepublic site or BOINC Manager?

The listed/available projects can be check by using command "listitem projects" in gridocin debug console. Its up to you how you add projects as long they are visible and working in BOINC Manager/Gridcoin client.

Your gridcoin setup seems to be working. The/One reason why you are not able to mine is that you need to have at least one valid project. If you joined/changed projects related to gridcoin recently it might take some time (1-2 days) until the changes are recognized. A valid BOINC project for gridcoin does have the following characteristics:
- at least 100 RAC
- the mailaddress you used for registration is same as in the gridcoin.conf
- you joined team gridcoin for that project

As soon listitem cpids shows at least one valid project (key "Is my CPID Valid?"=true) you should be able to mine.

Regarding your config:
Make sure that these settings matches your miner config I recommend to leave at standard values (127.0.0.1 & 9332)as long you dont have a reason to change it
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9332

If you you want to CPU mine as well set it to true (use lower case only)
cpumining=true
Be aware that at default gridcoin uses up to 100% of available CPU ressources to crunch CPU block. You can use the key threadlimit to set the number threads to be used by gridcoin (e.g. threadlimit=2 for 50% on a 4 core system), it is recommended to leave some ressources to rest of the system otherwise it might become unstable (esp. with 6*280X power heaters  Grin ) .

If you you want to pool mine as well set it to true (use lower case only) if you want to solo mine set it to false
poolmining=false

Your version is already outdated you update it using the upgrade command on debug console in gridcoin itself.
With the command "execute resetcpids" you can force an update of your project stats in case you think the values are outdated.

If you want to GPU and CPU mine at the same time not enough power is left for BOINC! As your block reward is related to your average credits compared to the average credit of the gridcoin team (per project) you only get small payouts if the whole power is used for gridocin. Check the list of command "listitem network" it shows the average RAC (for each project) which is needed to get the full reward. For now, as you dont have a valid project, I would recommend to use all your CPU and GPU power to earn RAC in BOINC, some of the projects are GPU enabled (check here http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/GPU_computing) and with your GPU setup you can earn many credits very fast!

to get a full picture please give us some more information:
- do you want to GPU and/or CPU mine? - GPU + CPU (if possible but not priority)
- do you want to solo or pool mine? - in solo i think (6*r9 280x)
- you do have at least 1 BOINC project with a RAC > 100? - nope, appr. 39
- you joined the team gridcoin for all projects you want to use with gridcoin? - not all., but select 2 projects.
- the mail address you used in the gridcoin.conf is the same you used to join/register BOINC projects? - yes

please go to your debug console in gridcoin type the following commands and post the result here (if possible as file):

Nice! Missed this one.

@zulzedd: do you know what the reason was? which action solved your problem?

Looks like after i updated BOINC manager datadir and appdir pathes changed, so i specified them in gridcoin.conf. Now my configuration file for wallet looks like this (Windows 7 x86):
Code:
server=1
rpcuser=zulzedd
rpcpassword=my_pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9332
poolmining=false
cpumining=true
email=my_email@gmail.com
suppressminingconsole=true
closeconhost=false
Project=489***
UpdatingLeaderboard=false
boincappdir=C:\Program Files\BOINC\
boincdatadir=C:\Users\All Users\BOINC\
Now i'm adding new projects and configuring pool mining.

THX

I don't think you need that anymore. Just the email to be specified in the gridcoin.conf

the last block message is not a real error it just indicates that you are currently not mining because there cant be two cpu blocks in a row, its by design
try listitem cpids instead of listitem cpuids
Yes, it's working correctly now. Thank you!

Hm... But i got now trouble with WCG project - i can't specify my wallet address as my profile name. It's not enough space in text field to paste GRC address. 4 last symbols are cut.

I had the same problem that listitem cpids showed only "command:cpids"

I have boincData folder in not default location so I had to set boincdatadir=.....

It seems that those parameters have changed a bit now. Hope this helps for those who have problems.
Thank you! I done this and now i got at least positive BOINC Magnitude, but listitem cpuids still shows me same and "PoB Mining Errors" : "Last block is a CPU block (sleeping)" . Here is screenshot:

Any thoughts?

Hi zulzedd,

what is shown if you do a listitem cpids in debug console?

Hi!. Only this:
Code:

17:34:53   listitem cpids

17:34:53 [
             {
             "Command" : "cpids"
             }
             ]

So that is the reason why gridcoin doesnt mine, only projects in that list are considered. Make sure that the mail address you used in gridcoin.conf is related to your project account and that you are a member of team gridcoin. If you changed these setting recently it may take some time to be picked by gridcoin. Try execute resetcpids in debug consule to enforce an update.

Hi, Gridcoiners!
I having troubles with new version of GRC wallet.
I added "email" param to my gridcoin config file, in which i specified email, which i'm using to login at boincstats.com and in project which i am calculating now (Rosetta). In total my config looks like this:
Code:
server=1
rpcuser=zulzedd
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9332
poolmining=false
cpumining=true
email=my_email@gmail.com
suppressminingconsole=true
closeconhost=false
Project=489565
UpdatingLeaderboard=false

But CPU mining refuses to work. Results for getmininginfo command:
Code:
{
"blocks" : 120150,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 6.26127925,
"errors" : "",
"networkhashps" : 97830473,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"Pool Mining" : false,
"Testnet" : false,
"Difficulty_PoB" : 0.10763889,
"Errors" : "",
"PoB Mining Enabled" : true,
"Active PoB Thread Count" : 4,
"Boinc Magnitude" : 0.00000000,
"PoB Thread Limit " : -1,
"PoB HashesPerSec" : 0,
"CPU Mining Project" : "",
"CPU Mining CPID" : "",
"CPU Mining RAC" : 0.00000000,
"GPU Mining Project" : "",
"GPU Mining CPID" : "",
"GPU Mining RAC" : 0.00000000,
"PoB Mining Errors" : "CPU projects are exhausted. Sleeping"
}

Screenshot of BOINC manager here

Thank you for any help!

could anyone give an instruction how to set up the CPU Mining?   Does it have any effect on the GPU mining?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324118.msg6953412#msg6953412

->see release notes PDF for CPU ming set up, do not forget to add your boinc email address in gridcoinconf

Seriously people - with every node you have listed, and the latest wallet, I still cannot get any connections.

The coin is obviously alive - why can no one post a list of nodes?

addnode=98.114.181.178
addnode=76.187.184.27
addnode=66.187.94.194
addnode=76.74.177.224
addnode=84.125.196.167
addnode=71.233.139.62
addnode=72.92.48.105
addnode=72.208.65.226
addnode=77.64.220.124
addnode=50.152.78.46
addnode=207.229.136.136

And:
{
    "version" : 2000500,
    "protocolversion" : 100001,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 0,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 0,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 0.00024414,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1393955114,
    "keypoolsize" : 92,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "mininput" : 0.00010000,
    "unlocked_until" : 0,
    "errors" : ""
}

Please try addnode=www.pgp.mx as first/only node.
Most current version is 2010007, at least for win.
