People see bitcoin as more of a money doubling system than a currency. Moreover, in emerging economies, you have a large number of problems that will hinder its adoption for day to day usage as medium of exchange. Problems such as bad internet connection, lack of access to computer devices and cheif of all illiteracy. Even bitcoin itself has a problem of congestion and excessive fees.

It is almost impossible for bitcoin to replace the Dollar.....Atleast, there would be strong oppositions against bitcoin in some government quarters. Moreover, bitcoin value is widely measured with the dollar as the base currency.

How did u come about that figure of 99 percent?.....The obvious fact is that Fiat money is quite convenient presently because the world generally and developing countries have not really explored the limits of technology..However, in years to come Fiat money would probably be gone or atleast it wont make sense to carry cash around...only thing i cant say for sure is that the current structure of cryptos and its security problems might not make it replace Fiat money in the coming years.

There is actually a need to regulate ICOs. Most of them just see the crypto market as a place to gather easy funds. However, it would be hard to regulate ICO's because trying to regulate ICOs is synonymous with regulating cryptocurrencies as a whole which is against the goal and purpose of cryptos.
