Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever?
by
Gabrieelle
on 12/05/2018, 10:11:08 UTC
Almost all crypto-currencies are exchanged on online exchanges, because this method is simple and gives access to a huge pool of crypto-currency investors - speculators. Obviously, the source of the problem: speculators, which not only undermine stability, but also dictate prices.
I think those people take advantage of the weak, they are controlling the price of the coins just to maybe play with us or what ever their reason is. I think it is really possible because a lot of people are talking about whales in cryptocurrency. The way I see it being volatile is part or is just one characteristics of crptocurrency in which we have to accept.

Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ?
by

Bitcoin will always be in existence as long as blockchain technology is in existence. No body should ever think that any coin will overtake bitcoin. Most of those people that will come up with and ideology and tell the whole world that it will overtake bitcoin, it is just a marketing strategy.
That is also how I see it, there are a lot of alt coins now coming up in the cryptocurrency market but still bitcoin remains number one despite those numbers and as we can see bitcoin still has the highest value. Bitcoin has been developed over the years unlike other coins which is just starting I think bitcoin has gained the trust of a lot of investors.

That is why we should be aware of every websites and applications in our technology, because our hardwork will be swept away for nothing because of those scammers. I'm sorry for your lost.
It is really all around us, those people who doesn't want to spend their time earning instead they make use of other people's money to earn. It is really sad that those kind of people doesn't think about how far or how long he worked just to earn that amount it is totally devastating what happened to him. I just hope that there is someone who can help him get it back.

Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling
by

on 12/05/2018, 05:17:28 UTC
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.
I also think about it that way because no matter what you think or what you put into your mind at the end of the game it still depends upon your luck if you're going to be the winner or you'll end up losing your money. Sometimes what we feel often doesn't goes the way we wanted it to go but else the opposite way, I guess that is how ironic life is.

Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere?
by
Gabrieelle
on 12/05/2018, 05:03:22 UTC
I think gambling already created a stigma as a bad thing to do and it can make anyone broke. Gambling addiction will not do any good unless you will be a professional like those poker players who were earning nearly millions of dollars even if they didn't win the tournament. I will never recommend gambling to anyone because I know how it is to be a gambling addict. It will never be a good experience.
I think we can all just base it from experience, a lot of people see gambling in a bad way maybe because they have experienced something not good along the way, we cannot blame them for giving advise to other people base from what happened to them. It all depends upon the person if he/she is going to take the advise or not.

Re: Shyness in gambling
by
Gabrieelle
on 12/05/2018, 04:59:53 UTC
No. I've never felt being shy in gambling but i feel pressure while i am playing gambling and it is normal. Unlike being shy it is not normal in gambling because if you are shy you will never enjoy the game, remember just enjoy the game and no one would be mad to you if you sit in tables as long you will bet or a player.
This is what the gamblers are forgetting now, they forget to enjoy the game as everyone is chasing the profits and losses. The shyness only comes if someone witnessed my losses and that's humiliating when someone actually sees your bad moments in gambling.
I agree it is part of the game, we must enjoy it instead of thinking about what we lose. If we think too much about something I guess it would only make the situation worst. Being shy in inevitable especially if you have your reasons. We all know that we are just doing it for fun because there is no guarantee that you can earn something.

Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?
Of course not because i don't want to be put in jail. I think it will be good that gambling will be illegal in a country because many people have ruined their lives because of it. I knew that online gambling is illegal because some of it is unlicensed. If gambling will be illegal in a country many casinos will be shutdown.
A lot of people won't let that happen especially those who are powerful enough to control those kind of decisions in one country I think it is impossible to ban gambling because casinos makes a lot of money out of it. You're right online gambling can easily be banned because they can control our internet providers but the actual gambling cannot be.

Re: Effects of Gambling
by
Gabrieelle
on 12/05/2018, 01:46:38 UTC
Effect on gambling is depend on you, how you use gambling in your life.
If do you use gambling to play in gambling to get a lot of money. It's wrong, because gambling is not a job but an entertaiment.
You're right gambling isn't a place to earn money because there is no guarantee that you will earn something at the end, it might just cost you a lot of money if you end up betting all you have. It is only for fun as what most people say but we must also control ourselves when it comes to spending our money in gambling.

Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late?
by
Gabrieelle
on 09/05/2018, 13:23:19 UTC
In my perspective, It is not too late to invest in Bitcoin.

A very low percentage of people own Bitcoin.

Take a look around you. How many people actually have Bitcoin?

It’s a low percentage, perhaps around 4%.

Bitcoin is only owned by less than 5 million people worldwide and still has tremendous growth potential.

Everybody thought they were too late at $100, $500, $1000, $5000, and now almost $10,000.

Nobody knows the answer for sure but it’s worth researching and getting into with a small amount of money that you can afford to lose.

There's a saying in Crypto world.

Keep calm and buy bitcoin Wink
If you are still waiting to invest your money in bitcoin and keep hold your time to buy bitcoin, you will loss your time and your moment to take much profit with bitcoin, so far bitcoin price go on and on the high price, but we are still waiting for bitcoin on low price. We have not find bitcoin will be dump in the next time, but bitcoin will have an expensive price.

Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world?
by
Gabrieelle
on 09/05/2018, 13:15:04 UTC

Bitcoin mining is based on very high energy costs and environmental costs.

One bitcoin =20 barrels of oil.

How many barrels of oil do you think the industry consumes every year?

10 barrels? 50 barrel?

Each year, the mining industry consumes more than 24 terawatts of energy, the equivalent of 13,239,916 barrels of oil.

Every 10 minutes, 12.5 bitcoins are dug up, meaning 20 barrels of crude oil have been reached since each bitcoin was dug up (not yet traded).

In other words, the amount of energy consumed by the global bitcoin mining campaign is 40 times greater than the amount of energy needed to support the Visa card network.

One bitcoin transaction = one American family USES electricity a week.

According to encrypt the currency analyst Alex DE Vries estimate an index, the currency trading energy consumed each year more than 24 tw, this is equivalent to total energy consumed each year in Nigeria, which has a population of 186 million.

Currently, about 300,000 bitcoins are traded each day. Each bitcoin transaction costs 215 kilowatt-hours of energy.

The average American household USES about 901 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, which means that each bitcoin exchange consumes enough energy to make an American family comfortable for a week.

What do you think about the energy consumption of bitcoin?
I also think that bitcoin mining do consume a lot of power consumption that may have contributed to sort of pollution. The way I see it the consumption could be just very minimal and no a threat to the environment. Considering that many rich countries are into renewable source of energy which I think for some countries that also do mining should also consider using alternative source of energy for it's operation.

Re: Green days are coming for bitcoin

Yes this is the day we are waiting since 3 months yesterday bitcoin continue to fall. But I am not satisfied I want to wait for bitcoin up again. I will be patient to wait until bitcoin reaches its highest price.
Those who are willing to wait for bitcoin to reach its highest price again will be benefited the most unlike those who sold their coins because of panic. Hopefully bitcoin continues to recover and greenday becomes everyday. That would be great especially to those who invested in bitcoin when the price was too high it will help them regain their lost.

Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping:
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 16:37:58 UTC

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

Since the price of Bitcoin was the all-time high, it brought a huge number of newbie investors and now it is the time when experienced traders/investors sold their funds to buy in the dips, newbies are suffering. There is a risk of selling wave and thus the price is falling down. However and happy with the price movement happening in the market because of Attainable stabilizer price for the long term and help for the long-term growth..

The Bitcoin is reaching $10,000 again.

Personally, I think cryptos will be the future, even some countries already banned them, like China and South Korea.

Recently, an news shaped my eyes again, it said that the investment banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs will start trading Bitcoin futures using its own money.
Bitcoin (BTC.X): will this rally sustain?

Do you think bitcoin will continue to increase?
As a believer of this technology I'm hoping that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase because I can generate more profit but if bitcoin falls again well I just keep holding my bitcoin until I can get profit again because I believe that bitcoin will become more valuable before the year end like what happen last year bitcoin exceed my expectations..

Re: Is trading actually worth it?
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 11:42:00 UTC
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.
You can gain serious gain if you know how crypto world work and you trade without emotions and don't do daily trading. Because in my opinion crypto market will gives you profit if you trade at least weekly. The movement in crypto is very volatile and if you insist to do daily trade make sure you use bot trading because you also fight against bot in the market and do scalping or arbitrage.

Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold?
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 10:11:57 UTC
I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat.  I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune.  In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition.  From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc.  Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability.  What do you think?  Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?
We can see that bitcoin prices are recovering extremely strongly, currently at $ 9500 level and still on a strong rebound and could hit $ 12,000 in trading day. Therefore, I believe this is the time to integrate so that we can invest in bitcoin. Currently the popularity of bitcoin is spreading all over the world so investing in bitcoin will be extremely usable.

Re: Invest in Bitcoin before April 27
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 08:12:44 UTC
Did you see that bounce in Bitcoin? You must be feeling great if you bought the dip on February 2, 2018 for around $6,000…Or maybe you missed that opportunity, simply because you don’t know how to get started. If that’s the case, don’t worry. Shocking news has broken about a huge multibillion-dollar company that has proven my findings to be right…Findings that could help anyone turn $100 into a retirement fortune…But there’s no time to waste, Because I expect it to happen as early as April 27. Don't think is too late to invest now, Make up your mind then buy some coin down now.
Something big is happening in the next few days or weeks, this does not mean anything other than pure hype. You do not want to rain on someone's parade but a few days the green line does not necessarily mean that we're already in the bull run. It can happen anytime until a strong trend line says so. Bitcoin is not typical of pumps and dump coins with low volume and low number of actors.

Re: Bitcoin VS bank
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 01:03:39 UTC
For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange. Now the monopoly is being broken. Bitcoin was born. The fear of the ruling class is only just beginning.

Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?
I don't think that Bitcoin can replace banking system although they have a potential to do this. But I rather to choose bank in terms of money insurance and safety features that the bank can offer. Bitcoin is Bitcoin and bank is bank. They have a different feature. The only thing that the bank can do is to adjust to the modern way of banking and go with the trend of technology, they can also collaborate with the works of bitcoin..

Re: Why people are still buying BTC?
by
Gabrieelle
on 06/05/2018, 00:44:16 UTC
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
People still buying bitcoin because all them are believing with the ability of bitcoin to be one of the best way for having better future. Although you are unlucky at that time don't be discouraged everyone of us have their own time to be successful. Bitcoin could gives people more opportunities to earn profits. Even though bitcoin is so risky most of people would trust to bitcoin because they think this is the right moment to achieve their goals..

Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin

I have read many posts of people saying they are sorry to have missed Bitcoin. But I wonder if they realise that there have been more than 20 trains out there that could have made them millionaires.

They have managed to miss at least all these, some of them as recent as July last year. It is not that you missed Bitcoin, is that you (and I) just missed many many others Roll Eyes

NXT          2013-09-28            +1084215%
IOTA         2015-11-25            +418179%
Neo           2015-10-01           +354482%
Ethereum   2014-07-22           +265772%

And the recent ones...
Populous      2017-06-24          +12181%
QTUM          2017-03-12           +10091%

Be honest to yourself... you did have a chance!

Each coins has a possibility to make it but we don't know when it will happen as we have many coins to consider. Yeah, that's good those coins have made it hope that more passengers had ride to those trains. I'm glad that the market has now moving in a profitable to our side. Hodl hodl could be best strategy for now. More trains to come just be ready to ride and fasten your seat belt.
