Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market?

True people will buy low sell high even with these things but it can be a win win cause if they are able to find for such a low price that they can still undercut steam then its a win win anyways.
I dont think it affected the forum so much tbh. I barely notice it.

Re: The future of the paper money

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?

Look, it costs a lot of money for the government to print and to take care of the paper money in any country. With their own, state Blockchain's these costs would be decreased a lot. We should expect that the governments and banks both will do this fairly quickly.

The thing that bothers me and that I am pretty sure will happen if these state blockchains come to existence is a level of control that a government can induce while operating one such system. Not just control, but surveillance, limiting how and when you will spend your money, etc..

This is much easier doable with the electronic money than with the cash money and I don't doubt that the governmental stupidity and greed will try to do something like this, which will essentially be the end of these decentralized blockchains altogether.

And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

the future odf the paper money what would it be i dont think that the paper money will disappear becuase i know for sure that lots of people will not let that happemn for srue te paper money will be there for sujre.

No there are no safe ways to gamble, its just that and I think that there cannot be said anything about that because its true.
Gambling is not safe so I think that this is also a stupid question.

Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen?
by
Galiatram
on 21/10/2016, 03:10:33 UTC
No I do not think this will happen but of course never say never because you never know it of course.
I think that its gonna be hard the other currency's are already so long in the game.

I also do not have the feeling it can do this, the other currency's are indeed longer in the game but are also way too big.
Banks will also not let this happen in my eyes so that is another reason why its most likely not gonna happen.

by

on 14/10/2016, 21:35:11 UTC
This was purely because of the halving that was coming, everyone was thinking that it would hit a very nice price but at the end it never did this..
Its not a very bad thing but also not a great thing that every came up these year.

Re: Is buying bitcoins the same as buying stocks in stock market?
by
Galiatram
on 14/10/2016, 21:26:39 UTC
to me there is a little similarity between the two but no equal 100%. as i have also worked in stock exchange for more that 10 years so i have a good experience of stock exchange also therefore i can say that there is a little similarity between the two.

Yes I also think that there are some signs that are the same but for the most part it is different without any doubts.
Of course its also how you look at it but that is just what I think..

if I have to choose I still choose for the bank because your money is insured if something happens and I also do not trust a unstable currency that can fall down on a day..
I think its too risky to do this!

You need to hack the bios and you'll get 18.5mh/s

This is an option but what is also already told in other topics that this is not smart because the lifetime will be shorter and you will void your warranty too.

Re: What would you like to buy?
by
Galiatram
on 14/10/2016, 03:09:08 UTC
i would can buy anything with bitcoin... in daily needs etc.
so i don't need any cash to pay anything, because all people use bitcoin
If I can I want for buying anything are have a relationship with my daily needs but that looks like an impossible in this time.... I just can convert my bitcoin and buy anything with it and not with bitcoin for directly.

I agree this is one of the problem bitcoin holder faces today.  The inability to purchase goods directly in bitcoin from the local stores or even from the institutions.  We need the third party payment processor to pay for our bills and other stuff like mobile credit.  I just wish that this issue will be solved soon.

Yeah, if we could buy all kind of things directly in the stores it would be awesome but on the other hand I think right now this is not possible, it will take a lot of time to get this working out, maybe it will never happen.

We all want this but the fact is that there is a small chance that this will happen. I hope on it but we all do and I think only some can achieve this with some luck.
The most will fail, its also laying at the future of the bitcoin.

Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why?
by
Galiatram
on 14/10/2016, 02:12:02 UTC
Normally I'm buying bitcoins because its profitable and also nice to buy them because you know its profitable and has a good future a head these days, I think that buying right now is also okay but not optimal.

I would not buy any bitcoins right now its not smart at all... I buy bitcoins because its indeed very profitable.
Another thing is that its untraceable and can be controlled by myself what is very nice.

For some part I do consider it as gambling but its also how you are looking at it of course, I think its almost the same and that its equal to it if I have to be honest.
I think that gambling is something that is based on luck and with trading this is also the fact.

Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin...
by
Galiatram
on 13/10/2016, 03:01:07 UTC
If you are selling your stocks for the bitcoin it will be worth it because with the bitcoin you can most likely make more profit and indeed you can also directly spend it in items so that is pretty nice.
