Re: [ANN][GRA] Graincoin - New PoW/PoS coin | Fast, secure | Version 1.4 Released!

Cryptsy has been adding a lot of new coins lately. Personally, I'm switching over and mining for a bit while the difficulty is still really low. Coin has a lot of potential and now is the time to hop on.

You guys should petition https://www.atomic-trade.com to add Graincoin. Apparently their thinking of removing DOGE..

I don't get why these smaller exchanges even bother keeping the really big coins on there. They should just take coins that hit cryptsy off and add newer ones to draw in new users. Doge doesn't need 10 tiny exchanges when it's doing millions of dollars a day in volume on cryptsy.

Tesla was just added to coinedup. Seems like an odd choice considering the coin wasn't terribly popular and was pretty dead after a few days, but hopefully this will generate some more interest in it. Difficulty is about to go through the roof.

I do hope that nobody is investing anything they can't afford to lose. At ~0.0001 KDC is almost 300% as profitable as doge (which has exploded the past few days) to mine. After the big upcoming difficulty adjustment it will still be quite a bit better. Coinmarket.io isn't listed on coinchoose/coinwarz yet but once it is I would expect the price to normalize pretty quickly. Please tread lightly and don't invest because people who stand to make a big profit tell you to.

Enjoying mining this coin so far. The difficulty is still low enough for solo mining and it looks like it had a smooth launch. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Things are definitely looking positive. Network hash rate has been up the past couple of days, lots of buy depth at cryptsy, and several new sites coming out soon. Excited about where we're heading.  Smiley

Good news, LOT now can be traded at this Chinese site: http://www.guogao.com/trade/LOT/ (A new and small site, but still not bad, right?)

Interesting... 1000 LOT is going for about 1.258 Yuan.. or 0.20/usd

we get around 0.15

Ugh, does anybody speak chinese? I transfered a little bit over there because of the arbitrage opportunity (which worked just fine), but when I try to withdraw it keeps telling me that my withdrawl password isn't right. At least according to google translate.

Edit: Nevermind. For some reason the password line was removed from the withdrawl page. The developer probably noticed that I failed at it so many times and took pity on me.  Cheesy

They're in yuan. The price is basically ~28 satoshi each when you go from lotto -> yuan -> btc. Unfortunatly there's basically zero btc orders on that site so you can't really get it out unless you convert to ltc or ppc.

i dont understand the prices there

Buy order @ cryptsy: 0.00000026   43408896.50177017   11.28631309 BTC Smiley

Surely people aren't buying into pumps like this. It was a wall that got slowly moved up from 20ish satoshi and then vanished when the buys stalled after the price jumped 40% in like 2 hours.

Yes, that's how it works. But what do you think is not true in my statement?

The house does not get all whats in when counter reaches zero.  There are no coins at the house other than the 1% fee from purchases.   The coins you paid for LOT1, have already been given to the person you took the spot from.  The house does not have your coins.

Some people are misunderstanding how this works.
Dude, they're saying when IT RUNS OUT. No seconds left, no minutes, no hours, no days.
WHEN THE TIME IS OUT. When the LAST person LOSES his coins, the HOUSE get's it. Who else would get it you say?

what do you mean the house doesnt make millions? i UNDERSTAND THE 1% fee and so does haggis... do you realise that the final amount which does not get bought.. goes to the house? Thats millions... Or is there a post i missed where he states that the unbought LOTS goes to a shelter for homeless gambling addicts?

You're not very smart, are you? When you deposit money to coinbomb you're paying the guy before you, not the house. The 2 million coins from Lot 1 were sent to the last guy who bought in a ~1.2 million as his profit. The owner is just taking his 1% cut on each transaction.

Person A buys the first investment at 1000 coins. Person B buys it from him at 50% interest and deposits 1500 coins which are sent to person A as his profit. If the bomb were to then blow up, there's no 1500 coins left for the house to take. I'm not sure where you got that idea from.

This is what I've got so far for the premine.

M22QBrCgY5f4V2nm8PQFmaheH9Z5EMVm5U - The original premine address with 380 million in it.
M4kU8UziEf9bams9kru3KBKdguhzybGiz4 - 80 million were sent here the day the coin came out. Hasn't been touched since.
LnKJ3TgDhmDJ39aJizdKmPA6J7NCfAqSLm - 65 million were sent here very recently. Haven't been spent yet.
LmqXC97ZVyEzWutoevK9b3Ho8qCcAuMbH9 - 79 million were sent here for giveaways.
LkH2KEy86bRqiusE4WB6mSNo4Ue4XonpsU - Contains what was left after the giveaways and other transfers. ~16 million remain here.
Ls2gsZppoEkHxoJ7cSQNAn959R67xnyeXU - The devs personal address? Contains 120.8 million coins now. Several times during the giveaway 1 million were randomly sent to this address. In addition, two transactions of 10 and 18.2 million were sent here with the remaining funds from the giveaway chain.
M7RdSKYJyoF6EaN1mFsnDDoFdUj3QaYKAu - 50 million coins were sent here from the above address on the 27th. Haven't been touched since.

It's kind of a pain to sift through since most of the time it generates a new address every time a transaction occurs. It's still hard to tell what happened since almost 200 million was sent to three addresses and hasn't been touched. They could have been private/exchange sales or it could just be sitting in one of the dev's wallets. 120 remains in the Ls2gsZppoEkHxoJ7cSQNAn959R67xnyeXU address that I'm quite sure is the main one he uses since it has lots of traffic. The last 60 is giveaways and smaller transactions that I didn't bother chasing down. I'll do a bit more digging later.

Edit: This is the block explorer if you want to go looking. http://lottocoin.info/

For those of you who want to go digging, this is the premine address: M22QBrCgY5f4V2nm8PQFmaheH9Z5EMVm5U

awesome! thanks.
now lets put a nail in that accusation coffin and move one to something productive Wink

Edit:
balance zero Shocked

It generates a new address after almost every transaction. Click the transaction id and new address it was sent to to follow the chain.

I've searched a bit but it's since been split into dozens of other wallets.

M4kU8UziEf9bams9kru3KBKdguhzybGiz4 - 80 million was sent here the day lotto came out. It hasn't been touched since.
LmqXC97ZVyEzWutoevK9b3Ho8qCcAuMbH9 - 79 million was sent here for the giveaways. It generates a new address after every transaction so you could trace it all the way to the end if you want to.
Ls2gsZppoEkHxoJ7cSQNAn959R67xnyeXU - 120.8 million was sent here from various other addresses. Frequent transactions into and out of this wallet the past few days. The devs personal one perhaps?
LnKJ3TgDhmDJ39aJizdKmPA6J7NCfAqSLm - 65 million was just sent here a few minutes ago. Hasn't been touched yet.

You guys need to chill, lot of coins get dumped on launch it hasn't even been 24 hours. We're gonna pick up today and in the following days  Smiley

Lotto is now the best performing coin on coin market cap that's an amazing start.

I'm quite sure the price will rise compared to where it is right now and I'm holding until it does. I just don't think its possible for lotto to have much of a future if the dev dumps $100k of coins and abandons it. It'd be a shame for a coin with this much potential to be abandoned within a few months.

If it is him, and he was trying to rip off this coin idea, then wouldn't he dump it and sell it at a reasonable price to make quick money?

That's pretty much the point. He could very well be doing that right now and nobody would be able to tell. How would you know if we was selling off 500k every time the price went up a bit? A 200 million dump would be incredibly obvious, but selling small pieces every few minutes? Nobody would even notice up until all the "development" funds are gone he's off to a new coin under a new username.

The guys been on constantly since the coin came out and then right when it hits Cryptsy (which is probably the biggest thing to happen to the coin since it comes out) he doesn't make a peep for 12 hours even though his own thread is blowing up? Not to mention the fact that only posts he made the past few days were either advocating pumping/dumping his own coin or insulting users. On top of the fact that tons of coins are being dumped on Cryptsy. I'll take it all back if we get the premine address, but I really doubt we will.

Edit: He's online right now, by the way. And has been for a while. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=187952

You could call it a dumb if the sell price would be 10 satoshi, but...

Im not calling it dumb, its an extremely profitable move.  Though on page one:  "Premine 2%, for dev, support, bounty, and giveaway"

Where does it say that almost 20% of the premine will be parked on cryptsy in a $900,000 order for the devs?  Anyone?

I know for a fact there were some ppl mining 10m/day with 20Mh/s in the first week. MAYBE it's from the premine, but there's a significant possibility it's not

Some buys @ 0.51BTC/m on Cryptsy. It's going up again.

However it would be interesting to ask mrlottos opinion. theres no point on arguing on this until he comments

Lol, and says what? "Nope, I didn't do it." Ok? Unless the actual premine address gets posted it doesn't really mean anything.

And again, who cares if the the 60 million wall is from the premine. It would be even more damaging if it were just being sold in 500k chunks constantly. It would ruin the price for everyone else and still make a ridiculous amount of money.
