Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop?
by

So the rate has changed over the past 5-7 days has grown quite a lot. Thus, it can be stated that El Salvador has either already left its unprofitable status or has already entered the green zone of profitability. This was obvious to everyone who has been following bitcoin and the market for more than a year (like me). So I think by the end of the year, colleagues of the President of El Salvador from Latin America and other regions of the world will think about how to partially or completely adopt his experience. It is especially sweet to see how the World Monetary Fund is indignant about this. So - the guys there are doing everything very well! Smiley

If only my older brother would give me bitcoin in 2009-2010 - I would be the happiest now! Smiley In general, it's very nice - I did this for my son when he was born 3 years ago, although I bought not bitcoin but etherium and not for $100 but for $500. Now they are worth much more. I confess I had a few moments when I wanted to sell them at a "good" rate, but then I caught myself in time and remembered that they were "not mine." Let the guy grow up and decide what to do with them. Who knows - maybe he will already be a millionaire by then? Smiley

Re: CRYPTO COFFEE & CRYPTO MENU

Very cool! It's like being in the future! I would love to have breakfast there! Smiley In general, it seems to me that in the next 5-10 years there will be more such cafes and other places where they will accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Yes, the process of legalization and integration of cryptocurrencies into the real economy is being delayed by banks and other major players who are afraid of someone because of competition. But sooner or later, this will end with the complete victory of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. They will be recognized all over the world. I am convinced of this.

It's nice to see and hear how bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are capturing new territories and more and more people are studying and mastering them. I realized a long time ago that this is a cool solution, especially for those countries and regions where the financial infrastructure is poorly developed. Where this is the case, blockchain is not just a solution to problems, it is a real working tool for raising the standard of living, creating new jobs and the well-being of citizens. I am sure the future will show us that this approach will have more and more examples in real life.

Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ?
by

I understand that the factor of faith in our time is of great importance, but since the market has already been formed and has been developing for a long time, I don’t think that faith is now more important here than the investment strategies of funds and large players (holders of thousands or tens of thousands of bitcoins). Especially recently, more and more news about the adoption of cryptocurrency, its legalization and regulation by national governments - gives a new impetus to the entire industry. I believe that faith is not so important today! Smiley

Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive
by

on 05/02/2022, 14:12:50 UTC
I have encountered a similar phenomenon many times, but it was not always so that they did not understand me. The point here is this - when a person does not understand anything at all in IT and computer hardware, networks and software - it is certainly difficult for him to explain the topic of blockchain as if I was jumping over previous blocks of information. But when a person is familiar with the world of computer technology, at least to some extent, it is already much easier to communicate and explain with him. However, most of the population, unfortunately, is conservative and looks at all this as some kind of "muddy" pyramid.

Re: How is the safest of the 'safest ways' to store Bitcoin?
by
Gamerholic
on 05/02/2022, 14:08:49 UTC
I think that I will not say anything new if I offer a regular cold wallet. Or two? Or three? I also think that bitcoins should not be stored in one place or one wallet because there is a banal human factor and should not be underestimated. Suffice it to recall a guy who is still looking for his old laptop beech in landfills, on which, at today's prices, there are about 220 million pounds worth of bitcoins. In order not to go crazy from such upheavals in life, it is worth thinking about safety in advance.

Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet?
by
Gamerholic
on 05/02/2022, 14:05:42 UTC
I think this is a very strange question - after all, bitcoin is freely traded on a large number of exchanges, both centralized and decentralized. The market determines its price at the time. I think there are many factors - the increase in complexity, legalization in a number of countries, the entry of large institutional investors into the market. All these factors will eventually lead bitcoin to a price level of 75 thousand or more. The year has just begun. Let's see...

It is impossible to understand how deeply sad this person is and how desperate he is that he is taking such "measures" to return or partially return the lost millions! One can only sympathize with him, however, in the event of a fantastic success, he will, on the other hand, be the happiest person in the world! Smiley I hope he is lucky and we will hear this story many times, but I would like this story to have a happy ending.

I think a similar thing happened to Etherium recently. All this, in my opinion, demonstrates the presence of additional motivation for the miners of these coins. In addition to constant mining, they have a ghostly chance to receive such a reward. And in fact, everyone can theoretically be in the place of those lucky ones. Big and super fair lottery! This is wonderful! Smiley

Re: A supermarket in Mexico now allows Bitcoin payments for all their items
by

Well, those who keep up with the times always win. If all competitors are still thinking about it, then someone is already implementing and getting additional profit not only from new customers, but also because the news itself has a good chance to increase demand in this supermarket! Until this becomes a mass phenomenon, those who are the first in their industries to be able to prepare such options for paying for goods and services will certainly defeat their competitors in the market!

Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin

I am sure that soon - in the next 5-10 years, the world community will fully realize that there is no alternative to the legalization of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and I think in general they will allow us all to use them along with the rest of the "ordinary" money. Another thing is how the market will look by the time how many people have time to invest and lose capital before the market becomes resistant to all sorts of tweets from Twitter and so on. That's the main question I think. I think we can afford coffee.

Re: Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar? Jack: Yes, Bitcoin will
by
Gamerholic
on 02/02/2022, 14:36:25 UTC
Bitcoin will never replace the dollar, but it can become a real currency with at least something secured, unlike all other currencies. After all, they (currencies) are issued by central banks and even private banks (as in the USA) for their national purposes. Bitcoin is untied from national borders, so in the future it will keep the dollar company on the financial "Olympus" - this is obvious to many today.

Re: if bitcoin was main currency, what's gonna be the BTC value?
by
Gamerholic
on 01/02/2022, 16:20:45 UTC
It is not possible to answer this question in exact numbers, however, if you think about it, it becomes clear that it will be very expensive. That is, the price of one bitcoin will be very high - since there will be a frantic demand for bitcoin - after all, it is legal tender everywhere and everyone needs it. Such demand and the absence (suppose) of supply that could satisfy such demand - there is a shortage and prices rise. I think it's too early to talk about it, but it's always good to dream! Smiley

Re: India proposes 30% tax on crypto and NFTs income
by

I don't think such a high tax would be good for this industry in India. Rather, it looks more like a step forward in the matter of regulation - since the tax rate in itself says that the state likes the idea of regulation rather than a complete or partial ban. In my opinion, the rate is still high, but if it is halved, then it will be possible to satisfy all parties interested in clear and understandable market rules.

Re: Who creates more impact in bitcoin price the Hodlers or Investors?
by
Gamerholic
on 01/02/2022, 16:14:16 UTC
I think you can just mathematically calculate who exactly influences more. But I think that both of these groups influence the market in their own way. The first part of those who hold bitcoin and do not use it in any way - their "silence" in the market gives some signals to active players (the second group). Those who actively trade, perhaps only because of their own activity, can "more" influence the market by creating supply and demand there, thereby forming the price and trading volume. I'm still more inclined to believe that those who do something have more influence.

Re: Why Bitcoin is valuable?
by

on 31/01/2022, 15:17:52 UTC
I just looked at one expert - an economist who answered this question today. It was interesting to listen to - I’ll say right away that a person does not deal with cryptocurrency, so he looks at all this as if from the other side of the river and reflects on what he sees. And this is what he says, his main idea is that the more distrust of citizens in the governments of their countries (in fact, the state), the higher the demand for cryptocurrency and the less for national classical finance and their instruments. It is also obvious that a deposit in a bank will never give such a return as a "deposit" in cryptocurrency. I think that's why banks resisted this trend for a long time.

I think that states that have already understood or are beginning to understand the inevitability of the interaction of a huge mass of people with cryptocurrency in the future are already beginning to prepare their youth for new skills and theoretical knowledge about this area. The potential that lies in the world of cryptocurrencies is still greatly underestimated - and those peoples and governments that will be able to integrate their national economies organically before others will inevitably have competitive advantages. This technological and intellectual gap between such countries, who accepted and mastered or, on the contrary, refused, will grow!
