Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving
by
Gargo
on 05/03/2019, 12:54:33 UTC
We have to take lessons from any bad situation and i believe that we had enough problems with ICO's and lots of people act very carefully today. We are carefully and lost our beliefs to the ICO's at the same time. I think this is very very hard to gain trust from people again, it is too late. The ICO business has came to an end unfortunately..

I absolutely disagree. The difficult period for ICO is closely related to the bear market and price drops in the entire cryptocurrency market. However, no one doubts that this is not the end of the crypto market. As soon as the trend changes and prices start to grow, ICO will be popular again.

Re: DUMP CENTRALISED CRYPTO !!

its like having you guys as traitors in decentralized revolution !!

Just saying, i explained one of my friend the concept of RIPPLE is thought it was the same as BITCOIN, he thanks me for taking my time to put some light on crypto concepts.

Can you please tell me why you support centralized coins ? you love government busting your ass ?

Many people probably do not know the difference between ripple and real cryptocurrencies. Those who know this difference, treat the ripple only as a speculative instrument.
Let's hope that people will understand as soon as possible that this is to the harm for the entire cryptocurrency market.

Re: The worst story continues again.

The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.

I think people don't understand the nature of cryptocurrency where in it is very unpredictable. No matter how we think about not dropping the prices in the market but it keeps on happening over again. What we have to do is to be patient and hope for the best but we should also expect the worse.
according to my observation the price movements at the exchange will not be able to recover and will never be expensive if no one buys coins at the exchange, so you should not just be patient and wait, you must participate to buy coins so that prices can go back up.
We need really large-scale events in the world of crypto currency, so that investors again become interested in the crypto currency, and so far everything that happens is too weakly worried about people who have lost interest

I think that many investors is interested in cryptocurrencies and are still accumulating them. They are not interested in pumping the price yet. Probably it will start when they will have full pockets. We just don't know how long it will take.

Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?
by
Gargo
on 05/03/2019, 11:25:39 UTC
I think it will be more useful than our normal hard cash. Crypto currency transaction is fast and also very in general system where you can send your money to anywhere anytime.
To win the competition from ordinary money is not as difficult as it may seem, but to take away the market from plastic will be almost impossible, it is much more convenient for people

I would not be so sure. I think that the adoption of smartphone payments, with cryptocurrencies also, will be even faster than from paper money to plastic. Take look on Samsung - new one have already implemented wallet for cryptocurrencies.

Re: Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork Is Concluded
by
Gargo
on 05/03/2019, 09:26:31 UTC
I still can't believe how under the radar this hard fork is. Last time it was about to happen the price increased a lot almost to double before it happened and there was a huge hype around ETH going on.

This time around its just like another daily maintenance or something, nobody really cares about it. What happened ?
Did they changed something crucial that would in the end make this hard fork uninteresting to people ?
What was so hyped about it last time that didn't take any attention this time ?

I am checking the notes on what changed but I can't see any major changes between the last time and this time, it looks like they are exactly the same but a few months in between. Interesting to see what can trending do to a coin, it trended than and increased a lot and it didn't trend now and same exact thing is not hyped at all.

Until now, during such events, there was a lot of price manipulation. It seems that the situation is calming down and we will see stable growth and not sharp price jumps. Also, through the previous postponement of the hardfork, people were not sure if this time there would be some surprise and another deadline would be announced.

Re: Should ICOs be regulated
by
Gargo
on 03/03/2019, 09:35:02 UTC
Absolutely not, regulation is harmful and does not affect scam. Scammers will find a way to bypass the regulation and we will just get extra difficulties.
We dont need no regulation.

Without any regulation whatsoever this is going to end badly. You do need some regulation. Sure scammers will keep scamming, but that will be the case forever.

I also think that ICO needs regulation. Maybe this regulations will not help in fundraising, but they will certainly help to punish scammers.

Bounty hunters should be more responsible, as long as we take any project in work, scam projects will continue to born, we should be more strict to new projects.

And that's the right behavior!
Bounty hunters (not everyone, but most) do not check at all who is behind the project, they are only mindlessly applying and promoting bounty programs. Many times, even if the ICO is officially announced a scam, they still do not stop promoting it. When this is changed, scams will also disappear.

I was an ICO investors and I made a big mistake by investing in your token. Maybe you created nice platform, but what is use case of the algory token?

During the bear market, most projects have fallen and you will never see their products. Algory has completed the project which confirms their credibility. I am sure that just this will make the price of their tokens grow.

Re: Listing an Exchange on Coinmarketcap
by

on 27/02/2019, 10:13:04 UTC
Coinmarketcap has been very mysterious and inaccessible over the last year. On the one hand, they announce that they simplify the possibility of listing, but on the other hand, new projects do not appear on their site at all. Unfortunately, but in this situation, it's only patience.

Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money?
by
Gargo
on 26/02/2019, 23:27:42 UTC
Hello , What do you think about ICO as a way of raising money in the next years? .Specially after all the scam projects we have seen before, like last time  the team of a project called elementh(https://icobench.com/ico/elementh) claimed that they have to quit the project since they did not have enough resources eventhough they raised about 8M USD , and after ICO no single step forward the development of product has been achieved.
They wanna return the money to investors as btc and eth after all this bull market (btc was about 10K usd ).

I think that though the very bad period in 2018, ICO will still be a very popular form of fundraising. Certainly a part of the market will be taken over by STO projects, but for sure many developers will choose this way of collect money for realization of their ideas.

Re: Ethereum Constantinople/St. Petersburg Upgrade Announcement
by
Gargo
on 26/02/2019, 23:04:38 UTC
I heard the fork will finally happen on the 28th of February and am patiently waiting for the fork
me too and just try to hope all of the progress will be working perfectly without any problem in the ethereum network. We are waiting for more and more block reward decrease and that's it. People are waiting for that too.

I think that much more important than the price increase is that technology connected with the cryptocurrency market is still developing. Such an upgrade will allow the development of further projects and ofcourse the entire market.

We are all enthusiastic about crypto prices rising up but lets not forget corrections that may likely happen in the event of coins dropping. Its just a way the market works, so expect the unexpected

Unfortunately, but you're right. We can not be sure that the bear market is over. However, I personally hope that this is the beginning of price stabilization in the cryptocurrency market. I hope that whales will not make us unpleasant surprises anymore.

Re: BITCOIN 1 MILLION in the end 2020?
by
Gargo
on 26/02/2019, 22:34:09 UTC
It not true to hitted the value of $1,000,000 because that is huge value for each one bitcoin and I think people are think also it is not a good IDEA that amount because it is far from the reality . But if the prediction is in real life it is good to see but I don't know why other people predicted to much..

It is a huge value, but did anyone in 2010 or even in 2014 think that the BTC price will reach $20k?! It seems to me that if there was such a person, he did not even want to talking about it loudly. In my opinion, $1M is possible, if it fails in 2020, almost certainly within 5 years.

Re: Ripple vs. Banks?
by
Gargo
on 26/02/2019, 22:14:26 UTC
This article is a good read:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/02/15/the-end-of-ripple/

Ripple use case was only to have banks work with it, but now when banks are making their own cryptocurrency, is Ripple in trouble?

Each bank wants to cut the largest piece of cake for himself, so more cryptocurrencies similar to Ripple will be created. Of course, if there is more competition, then everyone will earn less for himself. Ripple will probably stay a leader for centralised crypto because it appeared first, just like Bitcoin for decentralised crypto.

There is no doubt that the bear market will make many weak projects disappear. However, whether they fall or survive will depend on their potential, the will to fight and experience of developers.

Hello,

I see that early investors bought token for $0.13 , now in private sale price is $0.25 , ICO price is $1. It is huge discount for those who invest at the beginning. What is the lock period for investors from early and private starges of token sale?

Re: 12 Best Cryptocurrencies for Long-Term Investment [2019 Edition]
by
Gargo
on 14/02/2019, 13:33:27 UTC
At lest you should have mentioned the top 12 in the OP. Here they are:

1. Bitcoin BTC 2. Ethereum ETH 3. Binance Coin BNB 4. Stellar XLM 5. Ripple XRP 6. NEM XEM 7. Litecoin LTC 8. Komodo KMD 9. Monero XMR 10. Verge XVG 11. Tron TRX 12. Pundi X NPXS (taken from https://coinswitch.co/news/12-best-cryptocurrencies-for-long-term-investment-2019-edition)

I don't know what to say except that the most secure long term investment is Bitcoin. All the others may fail. How did Verge and Pundi X got on that list is beyond me.

Surely, two coins from the ones listed by you are not a safe investment. I'm thinking here about NEM and Verge. Both projects have very big problems and I do not expect that they can guarantee any profits. I am more afraid that investors will lose a lot on these coins.
