Dear BTC Talk Community,

Following up on our previous message, we're pleased to report that the mail backlog is steadily clearing, and your patience is greatly appreciated.

We're currently in the process of onboarding new team members to enhance our support services. This setup is ongoing, and we aim to improve response time soon.

Our PR account will continue to engage with you and provide updates on promotions and developments.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Best regards,
The FreeBitco.in Team

Who am I speaking to? Is this Wetsuit? TheQuin?

We'd like a little more information on what exactly happened to your website. Has TheQuin resigned and is no longer repping? What about the hacks that took place a month ago where a malicious actor was able to inject malicious scripts in order to swap the withdrawal address? Why the silence since then? What happened to you in that period?

Please don't keep us in the dark like this.

Dear BTC Talk Community,

We are immensely grateful for the love and trust you have shown to FreeBitco.in. Recently, a mail backlog caused delays in withdrawals, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are pleased to announce that all pending withdrawals have now been successfully processed.

The mail backlog is still ongoing but is slowly being cleared. We have also taken note of your concerns regarding our support services. To address this, we are actively identifying and onboarding new team members dedicated to enhancing our support and ensuring a smoother experience for all users.

Thank you for your continued support and patience.

Best regards,
The FreeBitco.in Team

Appreciate the post, can you explain why support messages go unanswered? Or why the address change is the only email I'm not receiving? Even late?

Hello,

I've already withdrawn my entire balance, and I think everyone here should too. This doesn't look good at all, at least until TheQuin comes back (which is really hopeless at this point). The website is showing signs of neglect, with the lottery list not being published, confirmation email delays, among other things.

For those having trouble being unable to withdraw because of the confirmation email, choose the default address in your profile. This won't require any confirmation or 2FA being enabled, and that's the option I went with.

process is manual not automatic.

The process is automatic, UNLESS your account is flagged by the system for manual review for potential multi-accounting, cheating or otherwise breaking the TOS.

You didn't break the TOS, therefore the system did not have anything to withhold your withdrawal for. Please apply some common sense, and please shorten your posts.

Good day, I have been waiting for manual confirmation of withdrawal for 31 days. How is it possible? Does anyone have the same problem? How should I solve it? support is absolutely unresponsive. I have 2 fa. please help me
My ID 36110069

This is a bad sign. Support on the forums is unresponsive, and now manual reviews aren't going through. This site looks to be abandoned at this point.

^^ I am able to understand the anger that this person has, there are just two very real possibilities and absolutely no other possibility exists. Either he really did get hacked and someone stole his money, which would mean that 500 dollars could be a lot of money for someone, well certainly a ton of money for someone who still keeps trying, or he made a mistake of his own and it is nobody's problem but his.

In either case, if I tried to complain about the situation and all I see were people who went against me, then I would be quite upset about it as well. We shouldn't really judge the situation for what it is.

I think it is high time to put this to bed and let him take his time, because no matter how much he complains, there will be a day when he stops.

It hasn't just been one person. There are several of us and the amount, in my case, was much higher. I offered screenshots, I have proof, I sent everything to Freebitco.in by email, to form, to @TheQuin by private...

...and they haven't even answered me. I'm not asking to restore what was stolen from me although Freebitco.in was completely guilty (is a Freebitco.in security issue) but at least an answer and above all...

...for all those who are defending the page and criticizing those of us who have been scammed...

No one has said that the Freebitco.in security bug has been fixed. Hackers can attack whenever they want again and perhaps some of the new ones stolen are the "clevers" who now criticize those affected

If I were you, I'd just dash those Legendary accounts with the signatures and branded profile pictures. Did you ever notice how their posts are often long-winded and their points are meaninglessly stretched over 100 words? They are paid to create these sort of posts with a certain character threshold to pass in order to be eligible for payment. They are promoting links in their signatures for other casinos every time they post.

Anyway, I spoke with the hacker FelErYun (Look at the script link that's loaded in the HTML, it contains the feleryunfbc name, with fbc being FreeBitco.in's name) a month ago when the first set of victims came forward on this thread, you can look it up in my profile posts. I don't know if you guys came to a conclusion yet, but this is an XSS exploit, a vulnerability that was present in FBC for the longest time that someone bothered to actually take advantage of. These exploits simply sideload a script that's able to do anything within your website session, which is consistent with you guys' experience logging in and seeing your BTC balance immediately flashing to zero. They don't have your passwords, and your system is not compromised.

The script loads selectively based on the UserID. and it replaces the withdrawal address for the hacker's wallet upon withdrawal. If you don't have 2FA enabled, FBC prompts you with an email to confirm withdrawal to the fraudulent address. For those with 2FA enabled, they've already lost their money, as their account don't require email confirmation. This is a really clever hack, as the user may get scared into better securing their account with 2FA, falling into the trap and losing their money in the end.

FelErYun came forward a month ago on this thread, claiming to be the hacker. I believe its him, because one of the script links loaded in the hack contains that name, with fbc appended at the end of it (so, feleryunfbc). Read up on my profile for the rest, cause its long winded. I questioned him for as long as i can before i disappeared to get more info about the whole ordeal, including his motives.

This is really sad to see go down. I've been using FBC for a long time already, and have referred a couple of gamblers to it. I had trust in them, But with TheQuin's disappearance, and waves of victims coming in, I don't feel confident anymore.

hi :3 i was the one who did it. funny thing i reported stuffs to freebitcoin previously and they ignored it. actually multiple people knew the exploits and was also reported. i waited time to do this and wonder if they still care. i guess not? if you wonder where is the money of those people, i gambled it for those people and blew it all up. its also funny to see people are depositing on a website that has very high house edge. there are alternatives that you can use that has better edge + better support that actually cares for the people.

So you hate FBC due to their support and house margins?  And you decided to get even with them by stealing innocent people's money?
OK, i can agree about the support levels on their side is disaster, but it is not right to make other people suffer because of it.
I don't believe that you gambled it all away, but have it somewhere in your own wallet, so I kindly ask if you can find a piece of heart in you and return the ill-gained proceeds.

And if you did you waste it on FBC, then I ask FBC to consider returning the funds to the deceived customers, otherwise these customers will be only a part of their history.
No? You didnt read properly? Alot of exploits was there FOR LONG and THEY KNOW SOME exists but DIDNT fix it. There has been numerous attempt to contact them. The time will eventually come that someone will exploit it for their own good if i didnt do it. FBC has the responsibility to protect users and they must give it back using their own money. If you decided to blind about your website security issues, then suffer the consequence. I didnt feel bad for them. FBC profits alot from their unfair system. Dont tell me they cant pay 1btc+ refunds, that just a pure greed. these people that i saw lost 0-10btcs in fbc, they have the funds to restore it.

Note: Last known reports was around 2017-2018. Guess if it was fixed or not.

You mentioned you and a number of other people knew of those exploits. How did you relay those concerns to the team to begin with? How did you know the team DID see these reports?

Now that you mention the last known report, and seeing this fiasco go down like this, I'm not feeling confident anymore having funds in this platform with dumbest security vulnerabilities unpatched like this.
Contact Form and their email. In my knowledge, none of them has any replies or feedback. There is no way they didnt see it because i managed to log them long ago if they see it or not, they did saw it and didnt give a single care.

That's fucking sad, man. So what are you going to do about those bitcoins you stole? Put the whole thing to rest already. Whats your next move?

No way you orchestrated such a high-profile heist like this just to send a message about FBC's house edge. What's the motivation, really?
i just hate fbc. this wouldnt happen if they actually care for the customers. the website is filled with xss exploits and they know it but they just didnt fix it.

How long would you say the XSS vulnerability was in the site for? Crazy to think it was there all this time until you exploited it proper.

Idk but i saw the xss vulnerability like a year ago. I believe it existed it for alot of years since they added a specific system that i wont mention. there are also multiple other xss that existed for long that hasnt been fixed

Interesting. So what critical information could you parse with this xss exploit from the victim's FBC account that you could use for monetary gain? Besides, y'know, scaring them shitless with a message telling them to transfer half a BTC or else.

I'm actually pretty impressed they saw through that bullshit message, by the way. Tracked down the malicious js and blocked it, even. How much BTC did you steal with the address switcheroo?

i can setup a convincing login page or a verification page but there is no point, if i cant access their email since email requires additional securities these days. the scare message was my desperate attempt to get my final btc because i got into a debt problem after gambling other users money and decided to deposit my own money and borrowed some after losing it all.
i stole 1.3-1.4 in total. Zibi321 could have gotten 9btc in return from my gambling session since i felt bad for him but he decided to lie and ghost me. His money is still on fbc and if only fbc is kind enough to give it back since i spent his balance there.

Lie and ghost you? C'mon. He played you like a damn fiddle from where I'm standing. He says he withdrew his entire balance. Finessed you and got away! And don't get me started on the reminder emails you sent to him a bunch of times. You didn't have to tell me you were desperate, I was smelling all the way out here. Is this your first time heisting?

But anyway, wouldn't you have it in your heart to return the stolen BTC, or are you gonna settle your debts with them?

To provide more context as to why this is so upsetting, here is an overview of my freebitco.in account as of the time of writing this

You can clearly see from my stats that I am very well invested and active on this platform, (not many people can boast of my numbers) so yeah this is why it hurts even more...
I honestly do not have anything against the site, just look into my problem and do better with your customer support is all I ask. My case is a meagre amount compared to some of the deposits that some of you might make, what if it happened to you, you think you'll get any preferential treatment? Common now I've waited 8 months, not 8 days but over half a year. I've totally lost my cool on this subject.

I know this isn't the right time to ask this, I sympathize with your situation and I hope you are able to recover your funds.

But how the hell do you have -354 merit? In the negative? I've never seen an account with negative merit in my 4+ years on the forums here.

Hey you seem pretty knowledgable about HEX - I am creating a better HEX and would like to speak to you about possibly joining our team - Someone on my team sent me the post and I logged on to bitcoin talk after like 5 years to DM you. Please reach out to me at t.me/maxxalpha '

Thank you

This is a fair conclusion and several projects have forked HEX and tried to improve upon it, whether that be the tokenomics, distribution, chain, or functionality. MAXX finance is the latest one and it will be managed by a DAO and offers more revenue generation potential due to the intergration of a suite of DApps, validator nodes, and token transaction fees. Plus the team only gets 5% of the supply, not 45% like HEX. There is an NFT drop now of a limited edition APY boosting NFT and HEX holders will be able to participate in a free claim round and will get an airdrop.

Woops, seems I missed you guys' messages. I know its been 2 years, but if there is still a position open within your project, we can work something out. Cheers!

I got some nice rewards with 1 high reward of 1700 satoshis and 2 medium rewards of 170 satoshis and 170 lottery tickets.
The rest were all ofcourse the base rewards but a nice stash though.

Sweet earnings on the WoF. As for me, I do exchange my RPs for a 100 spins everyday, but I don't roll them. I'm buying me cheap while I still can so when the bear market hits, I'll roll them all for some good profits.

The great thing about the spins is that they are dynamically priced in relation to the price of btc. When BTC goes down, the rewards increase and that when you roll.

Hello. Recently, a gambling referral quit rolling a month or two ago (from what I can tell anyway). At this point I've accumulated around 45K reward points in my account. I've already withdrawn my referral earnings, but those RPs can't be converted to BTC and withdrawn until I reach the 100K point. I'm not a gambler, so gambling my way to the summit is a no-go. I don't have the time nor patience to use the free rolls to get there either, it isn't feasible anyway as I'd have to roll around 14,000 times to get to the finish line, assuming I earn 4 RPs per roll.

At this point, the best option of converting these RPs to something of value is via exchanging them to Wheel of Fortune spins. Here are my stats for my first 3 exchanges, each at 100 spins:

As you can see in the third image, I got lucky and hit the 2100 RP reward, with 861 RPs on top of it, which is really great as this exchange basically paid for itself.

If there is a thread somewhere dedicated to rolling wheel of fortune spins and sharing session prizes, I'd appreciate it if you could point me to it. WoF is probably the most interesting feature I've seen in a casino in a long while.

ALWAYS read the terms of service and conditions for withdrawals. Don't fall for those scummy tactics casinos use, and its honestly quite common amongst the newbie ones too. It's really blatant and obvious that they are doing this to milk unsuspecting people of their money. The fact that its 5x the amount deposited too is nigh impossible to achieve as well.

OP, you either play it safe, leave the funds there and hope they lift this restriction up as the casino itself grows. I'm saying this because this is extremely unsustainable, as it hurts their reputation in the long run, and any gambler worth their salt would sniff their intentions through this. The other way out, if you really need those funds, is unfortunately through gambling your way out. Good luck.

Re: What else should an established crypto casino add?
by

on 25/04/2023, 11:35:36 UTC
Good customer service can increase the casino's rating and become one of the most popular and trusted casinos, so it is hoped that the casino can become big too.

But maybe the casino has its considerations in using AI support services and maybe to reduce the cost factor of hiring support personnel previously used by casinos. And the difference between using people as service agents and AI is that users can get answers directly and talk directly to those agents to get satisfactory answers.

Can AI understand and resolve the gambler's problems? I do not think so. Yes, by using Artificial Intelligence bots they can increase their response time but the AI won't be able to resolve the queries. It can be used to create tickets etc.
The AI chatbot can then forward the customer's queries to real service agents who can resolve people's issues.

I would say that customer care and support should be the main focus of the casino and they can use a mixture of AI and humans to cater to the needs of the gambling casinos.

Theoretically, it can if the purpose of the AI is simply to provide useful information to the problem a gambler is experiencing. An example of which is a problem with funds missing from the website. The AI in this case could go through a list of options the gambler could take to ensure it wasn't an error on the user's side, then escalate it to a real customer service rep if that isn't the case. In that case, the AI has to be extremely specialized to the inner workings of the casino itself, which means it has to be trained on specialized databases and logs of customer service chatlogs.

However, I wouldn't trust AI to handle anything that requires any interactions with the backend processes in solving a customer's complaints. That's extremely risky, not to mention interfacing an advanced AI to a rudimentary backend sounds like a disaster to establish and maintain, code-wise. But don't quote me on that.

New to the thread, so here's what I think is missing from a lot of big-time casino's: Referral commissions. Life-time, and not the one-time schtick. I've made a modest amount from referring people to my signature link, and I'm happy to be a part of that service.

Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling?
by
Garmo
on 13/06/2022, 09:04:03 UTC
In any given casino where winning is based on sole luck, the house edge is always against you, and guarantees that casino a profit turnover the more you keep gambling. Even though you may win at first, the house is betting on the fact that you'll get hooked on the win streak high, and that you'll keep playing, till that house edge materializes and you lose.

I think the best sort of gambling that isn't based on luck, or luck alone, is the best. Things like elections and sportsbetting where you are able to take the history of a candidate's or a player's history into account for your gambling decision, your appraisal of them also. In this, you do have a tangible chance that isn't just based on luck.

I made a website with a exhaustive table on this! You can find it here: https://extracrypto.cc/interest-rates/all-cryptocurrencies/. And you can compare more info on the platforms here: https://extracrypto.cc/interest-rates/platform-features/

Feel free to add anything you find there to the list in this thread!

Excellent job on compiling everything. From now on though, I'll add the ones that provide >3.0% APR once I come back home. Any lower than this wouldn't be worth it.

I'm curious, how much do you cash in in referral income? I've gotten quite interested affiliate marketing, passive income and referral commissions, and recently have started promoting the link in my signature over the web. Thus far, I managed to score one proliferative gambler.
