Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin

You're welcome, but then Crypto Currency in Nigeria are not being supported not backed by the government.
You should carry out a good research about it, good to see you opened a coffee shop and accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment.
Late January, I was involved in a football competition that paid it's winner's in bitcoin and I was lucky to be one of them, winning the highest goal scorer award with payment made in Bitcoin.
Nigeria is doing good, being one of the top five that are using bitcoin and Crypto Currencies.

A bit off with your examples and the topic, not too related if I should say.
But the answers to if government can ban Crypto is a capital No, we have seen countries of recent accepting Crypto Currency and bitcoin rapidly, In a short time more countries will fully embrace it.... I'm not fully certain, but my hunches tell me mot government officials are also huge investors in bitcoin and other alternative coin's.
Recent cases of countries accepting Bitcoin is El Salvador!!

Re: This why wall street are rich and you are poor

It's no bad decision if borrowing cash both in fiat, in the cryptocurrency sphere and also for gambling,I see nothing bad with such, like I could attest to the fact that I borrowed some amount of money to gamble, strictly football gambling and I wasn't able to pay back in the first two months.
It might work for you, but not for all, at last I got to pay after too many loss.
What I think is demanded is a good mindset, a change of your old mindset, not everyone will want to take this risk, not even the poor nor rich.
A good plan, strategies and taking calculated risks matters.

Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop?
by

on 31/01/2022, 14:15:08 UTC
I don't think they're in debt over the decrease in price if Bitcoin drop.
My main fear is not wanting to see investors or those that have bought Bitcoin panic sell.
Since they're not long term holders of bitcoin, they might not be able to hold down for longer time.
Advice:While educating and advocating about Bitcoin do well to tell them about demerits if it, this will see them brace up when a situation like this turns up.

I have also done same down here, I'm African, I have advocated about bitcoin to my school, street's, neighbors and friends.
What interest me the most, is my head of department loving how we are gon use bitcoin books, crypto currencies article's to make more awareness about the library.
Informing the public about Bitcoin books and relating them about the library, this helps inculcate the habit of reading in them.

Still not certain what Bitcoin will be worth in the future, but then I still have this feeling of further investment in bitcoin.
I think I'm replacement of fiat and both the seen and unseen issues and problems Bitcoin solves.
It's best you don't invest in bitcoin big you're not too optimistic about it.
Better still I'm down with the Op saying buy more bitcoin and wait as we go to the moon.

It was easy at all, nor a sexy one, congratulations to those who Invested in cryptocurrency and had profits, I was then though but had my best experience in gambling, if I can say louder, I wan my highest bet during this periods.

Getting to know Crypto Currency and bitcoin can still make you loss huge amounts or great losses.
Without good understanding about it you might fall in the wrong hands at the end of the day, not making a dine in the process, you can still invest in it and remain poor, no plan no strategy, are you a good holder, if you aren't then selling for profits comes next.
Also Crypto Currency and bitcoin are not the only thing to invest to take the poor outta that State, a change in mind is the first step for every broke person.

Congratulations Op, you're a good example of discipline and indeed a true bitcoiner.
But could it be that you never sold any ? Hopefully you're still buy more of Bitcoin ?
Most bitcoiner's lack patience and self discipline, the little bitcoin they have can be sold, take a good look at the folks in El Salvador, I don't know why I feel those that Invested will panic sell.

Well might be true, the media won't joke nor speculate such a news around, but let's get to hear what (Greenwood) has to say before we criticize him completely.
But if he actually did that, then! I'll just let it cool of for now.. it's been showing up in his game, too poor from him at this age.
But if he does gets arrested, he'll sure come back stronger, this is where Manchester United fans needs to give him their full support.... A popular saying in Africa that says " When a child sins flog, discipline him with the right hand and accept him with left"
Anyone can end up in this state also, it's how best you handle matters.

I think at the end of the January transfer window, Daniel Levy will not sign any player for Tottenham and that will cost Antonio Conte to terminate his contract.up till now spurs have not sell any of the players that the coach ask to move Doherty,Deli Alli, Locelso, Tanguy Ndombele and Robson they are all there and the transfer window is closing two days from now.when are you moving them and when are you bringing replacement. They have lost players like coutinho,Adama traore in this same transfer window.

If this happens I'll hope Manchester United takes the chance to bring Antonio Conte to Manchester United.
I see him as a long time coach at Manchester United, and I believe the fans and staff's with want to work with him.
Looking at how good he has performed at Chelsea, I couldn't agree more but to let him be the next manager, he had smart strategies while at inter Milan winning the league in the process.

The game between Egypt and Morocco is going to be very interesting. Both teams are listed among the favorites to win the African Cup of Nations. I think it will be a very even game and both teams will be very focused on defense. The team to score the first goal will win the match. My bet is under 2.5 goals.

Good prediction from you on this game, countries I didn't expect came this far and I still believes they can do better than they think.
I'm totally Carried away by the Moroccan team, Thay have come this far but best believe this is there end.
Egypt should go further henceforth from here, prediction still goes for Salah to score a goal, Eleneny of Arsenal has also been great putting a great performance in their last game, which saw him winning the man of the match award.

Wanting to know first of all shows how curious you are, it's good to ask what you don't know.
I'm no professional at this but then, if you have endurance issues you shouldn't hold for longer times because you might end been in the bad sides when Bitcoin fluctuate's up and down
You should decide for yourself if you want to hold for long,if this is it don't panic sell, but on the other hand, you make good profits from it also.

For an investor to hold for a long time, it all depend other the type whether it's a long term investor or a short term one. You don't expect some with small fund that is in the market to crab some positions and take out profits as fast as possible before the market changes direction to hold long before taking profits.
Not everybody can buy more to sell some cause the fund to buy more may not be available.

Re: Don't be wiser than the market
by

on 28/01/2022, 22:57:36 UTC
Or, you can just hold. Remove the stress in trying to invest and just keep on investing. Learning the bare minimum together with investing in coins that would develop in the long run, and not just built up hype, would help you a lot. Honestly, short-term is not really something I'd let someone new to trading do, heck even long-term traders would probably say that they don't particularly like something like day trading. It's just way too much stress imo, especially for newbie traders.

Can one be wiser than the market? Cause I see no way or reason why an investor we think of cheating the market when it's always end in tears. The market has its own way of balance the market movement and trend. There many things one has to learn form the market because its very volatile and versatile with different aspect. one has to learn and understand the brain behind such actions.

by

I think bitcoin price fluctuations have a deep relationship with other coin price fluctuations, what do you think about this?
We all know that Bitcoin price do affect the general crypto market which makes it a superior above every other coins or tokens in the market. When the Bitcoin price falls, all other tokens and coins will fall too due to strong affiliation of Bitcoin to the crypto market. We a know that Bitcoin is the king here, so no need to create much contention.

Re: Busking to promote Bitcoin

A bit of an update on this.

I don't think I have the time or the ability to become a good rock singer, and I'm not sure how appealing an 80 year old rocker will be. I've also got a problem, as my friend who is restarting a rock band wants the guitar. I might get involved with the band, and use that to promote Bitcoin. I own the domain Bitcoin Patron{/url] , and I could use that to solicit for donations, and then I could use the site to educate potential sponsors about Bitcoin.

I'll put an explanation of Bitcoin on the site, and then, hopefully, you guy could review my comments to see where I have made mistakes ( if any).

I second that, few days you was 79, now you're 80 already ?
It's your Birthday today? Anyways I don't want to shift from the topic I only wanted to say birthday wishes.
It's a good way to advocate about Bitcoin, good luck as you become a ew rocky fella Cool
