Re: How would you double $100,000 safely?
by

The words double and safe don't meet up in the same sentence IMO, if you want %100 interest in a year then it's a very risky investment regardless of what you actually pick... Trading altcoins can yield such interest but on extremely high risk..

Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ?
by

I buy them when I have some extra USD so mostly at the start of the month, I also buy as much as I can when I see big dips with nothing supporting the downward spiral of the currency, I exchange some for alt-coins as well when a good coin is getting more popular etc...

Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins?

For speculation and for use as an investment to just hold for me, I didn't actually know about it until I heard about it in an economical magazine a year or so ago, The fact that it's so volatile offers traders and infinite and amazing range of possibilities. Don't know much about darkweb or the other options though.

Re: SPORTSBET.IO - Place where you can bet with bitcoins
by

I think this would count as a 107BTC "multibet win"
(I guess depending on the limits also)

Big bet, I am rooting for you  Smiley if that one win you would be a high probability for rank 1 as well as the profit of the bet itself so you would be on the road for 14-15 BTC, I, although my overall profit is significantly lower find sportsbet promotions amazing as well.

I got into bitcoins around 2016 so around 9 months and I would bought/saved/earned around 2 bitcoins overall. with some effort and investment maybe I can reach 3 or 4 bitcoins total by the start of 2017.

Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card?

Been using uQuid for a while now and like the proces very much, The fact that you can get your BTC processed to USD and use it as fast as using a DC is great. The fees are not that favorable overall though and probably you could sell BTC at a better price and get some % if you do it on Localbitcoins or the like.

Ingenious! but the hardest part would be the time machine part, How exactly can we make that one? Smiley

Seriously speaking, If one could just be enough lucky to know about bitcoin at that time and be smart to realize it's value, That person would now be a millionaire "and I'm pretty sure there are some like those among the users of this forum".

Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever
by

I, Too think bitcoin is more than a get-rich-quick thing, You should hold your bitcoins rather than sell them for a specific incidence, But still if bitcoin goes the mile and is worth a million dollar a piece then it would be quite hard to follow that and not sell at least some of your stock.

Re: Bitcoin or gold?
by

If I would be doing a very long term investment then I would have to pick gold, Although I am amazed by bitcoin and it's system but the fact it has been here for just this long shows that it can move either way and IMO not suitable for very long term investments, not for being bad but for the duration you can analyze it for is just few years.

Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin?
by

That's a really difficult thing since this is %33 interest for a quarter of a year, Investing in crypto's can be rather profitable as well as buying stocks in bitcoin stock exchange but they are high risk as well and the possibility of losing the invested capital is high.

Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do?
by

If it rose to that range then I suppose everyone even those using faucets right now and on this forum would be millionaires, Would probably be fun to see a forum of millionaires only. I would sell around 1 or 2 BTC to buy myself a mansion and hold the rest Cheesy .

I think it would be amazing if it ever transformed into reality, The meagupload system would definitely be better if it was made linked with bitcoin for data transfer and cost/purchases. The fact that it will be linked to BTC transactions would allow more visibility although it might cost something.

Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ?
by
Gaswuwade
on 03/09/2016, 10:35:39 UTC
I think bitcoin would remain pretty much the same thing, Although alt-coins are a plus since it allows more options I doubt it would have a big negative impact if it disappears, The opposite "Alt-coins without bitcoins" is almost impossible to remember since they are even valued in BTC.

Re: Doubling Bitcoin?
by

on 03/09/2016, 10:30:45 UTC
There's no easy cash even in bitcoins, But the ways to earn BTC are a little easier and can be done online, Doubling is a troubling word however since most of the sites that need a deposit and offer doubling are either extremely risky or scams, You might be better off working in Survey or Get paid to sites paying in BTC and accumulating it "BTC" overtime.

Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets?
by
Gaswuwade
on 03/09/2016, 10:27:54 UTC
IMO each wallet has advantages of it's own, And because of these advantages people use different wallet according to their needs, For example:

-  Armory is secure, People with cold-wallets or big amount of BTC use it
-  Electrum is fast, doesn't need to download the whole blockchain and PC based mostly
-  Blockchain.info is fast and incredibly easy to use, suitable for beginners and small amounts of BTC

And the like, each wallet has an advantage of it's own.

Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal?
by
Gaswuwade
on 03/09/2016, 10:23:54 UTC
Stealing "anything" is illegal, Bitcoin is a commodity at worst if you don't consider it a currency therefore stealing it is the same as stealing the money it is worth, Bitcoin scammers rarely are followed through with there scammed amounts because deals are mostly anonymous and online.

Short-visioned view to bitcoin if you think it's just a bad currency, Bitcoin is a currency like all others, Something to value exchange of items between people and how people use it is the good/bad thing, USD is being used for illegal activities all around the world but that's not the fault of the currency but the people..

Re: How long you in bitcoin world?

early 2012 was when I heard first about bitcoins, did not put much thoughts into it and considered it some form of internet money and didn't really lookup more about it till 2015, Of course it would have been better if I searched about it in 2012...

You use BTC Directly to do those or do you sell BTC and use the USD to do these?

Anyway I mostly use bitcoins as an investment and as a holding method to my hold my investment with a good growth potential, I also use it to conduct online transactions and deal with people online.
