all 10 Miner are online right now! But I am not really happy with the result.
why are you so greedy?
It's not greed. he'd getting 25% lower hashrate than what he paid for and they are also using more power than advertised. Like buying a bugatti veyron and finding out it has a v12 with no turbos.

It's funny some people can't tell those rigs are outside.
If it storms man rain can bounce from the ground up and get under there.

Is there a limit to the number of usb a computer will operate?
Lets say a mobo with 10 usb ports using 10 49-Port ASICMINER USB Hub. Would it work with 490 usb miners? Using Linux of course.
I'm getting ready to build my first open air rig, I've noticed one thing...none of these open air rigs appear to have a power button. How do you turn the unit on?
the magical paperclip.
A lot of boards now have power and reset buttons on the board itself... or its not to hard to salvage a wired button from any old PC!
Screwdriver or HDD jumper or $2 switches on amazon from china

How loud are those high power server power supplies?
How loud are those high power server power supplies?
imagine a jet engine taking off.
Fan noise is usually caused by the blades stalling in the air. Reduce the speed a bit and the noise should go down a lot with a minimal reduction (and in some cases an increase) in airflow.
I've found this on my BFL singles; lowering the speed of the output fan slightly will really reduce the noise because at full speed it's simply stalling against the end holes and trying to pull more air through the unit.
Larger fans are much easier to keep quiet. Small high speed fans are just plain old loud. Slowing the speed reduces noise, but most are still very jet sounding like.
:-) Granted I'm in the small time with 200gh here, but to be honest I can say I know a thing or two about both cooling and building my own 1 volt 120 amp power supplies.
And 300 volt 400 amp 3 phase power supplies.
That happen to be water cooled. :-)

I wasn't knocking you or anyone else, you have done very good work oc'ing your jalas. I was just giving you a hard time when you poked that the rest of us were mining with toys since we (most) aren't watercooling our rigs.

Why is every picture named "ip.bitcointalk_org.jpg"
Not only is it annoying for saving, but it prevents search engines from finding these pictures in these pages, which then prevents people from finding this forum.

Thanks, I had previously read all of that, I just wanted to get some feedback from those who have used the promo and make sure there wasn't some hidden fine print or the likes.

When they say "Enjoy No Payments + No Interest if paid in full in 12 Months"
Does that literally mean you don't have to make any payments every single month for the first 12 months, or just no interest if you pay in full by the 11th month.

How correct are current mining profitability calculators?

I've been out of the mining game since May. At that time profit calculations were exaggerated pretty greatly on coinwarz and whatmine. How are things currently? What can one expect per 100MH on scrypt, average daily?
It's not normal because they used to be sharp and completely constructed. And it's in many places all over the world, where they also used to look sharp and fully constructed.
You can't possibly say that looks normal, that's hilarious.
Nah, I guess he's right. That picture is of a constructed, i.e. built in an editor, set of buildings. You can't possibly do that for every minor crappy place, so they scan and process those images automatically. And that technology has its limitations, yeah.
As I already said, the areas I am talking about used to be fully constructed, now they are not. And South Beach is anything but a minor crappy place.

I've been getting these issues for the last year or so. I figured it was a bug on their end they would eventually fix, but it's been a while now. I've tried disabling/enabling all options, clearing caches, reinstalling, etc. It only does it when 3d Imagery is enabled. I use OpenGL mode, but it also does it in Directx mode.
Hardware is Z77, 3770k, 280x, 32GB RAM, tried many different ATI drivers. Right now using latest stable version.
