Most people in this space are trying to engage the crypto market specifically. We are trying to bootstrap several businesses based on BRK. If you look at firstblood, they have raised something like  $4M (over 4 times all of our fundraising combined) based on what would be only one of our entertainment verticals.

Moreover we are building this economy based on solid market foundations where BRK is used as a decentralized payment solution but the businesses are traditional centralized entities. Marketing hype theory says we should have made Breakout Gaming as a DAO, but there is absolutely no precedent for a successful business model with DAOS. In fact the only DAO has literally been an irreparable catastrophe.

We probably could find a marketing angle to pump the price temporarily, but instead we are going to continue our plan to use BRK as the premiere payment solution for all of our gaming verticals. The end goal is an integrated wallet with a single BRK user balance combined with the ability to charge the wallet using a variety of payment options.

It seems like all this should be straightforward, but we aren't playing monopoly here. Our operations serve hundreds of different jurisdictions and to be a legitimate and viable business we must be compliant with all regulations wherever we offer our services. These regulations not only address gaming but also any payment processing. It is a tough combination to tackle, but we are making our way through as we hopefully will be able to demonstrate in the coming weeks.

What do you mean save the community?  They are working on the roadmap.  The only people that care about the short-term movements of the coin are people like you that want to sell your coins after 2 days.  I would rather they use the funds to build the project not support self entitled cry babies like you that just want to flip their investments.

There are DATES on the ROADMAP.  At least give the gaming team and coin development team the opportunity to develop the project before you publicly slander people that have their real identities known.

Sometimes it is hard to ignore the FUD, I was never in this for the short term though so I had already committed to losing my BTC if this project didn't go anywhere.

My concern is with the functionality of the the network, I really would like to know if the devs have considered any of the problems and what their plan of action would be. With only ~4 million BRX available and many of them on the exchange I think the confirmation time to maturity will cause a problem with PoS moving the chain quickly enough for the network to be viable.

Has the burn address been published by Bittrex yet for the unsold Breakout Stake, BRX?  If so can somebody please post it for us here somewhere?  I'm just curious, that's all.

Thanks for the reply, is that 6000 BRK per btc or 6000 BRX per btc? Wasn't sure how to interpret that.  It's 1500 BRX / btc now, so I assume it was 4 times cheaper back then for BRX? Not a bad ROI for those that got in early.

Is there a source of updated information I could read to catch up with all the past & current news regarding Breakout?  I haven't had time to catch up with this since I saw that the ICO has ended.  Or could someone here fill me in?  The coins I purchased are still sitting on Bittrex - what's everyone using theirs for, poker?  I see that it appears to be down at the moment.  Where does poker take place, in the wallet itself?    Or on an official site?  And what's this Breakout Stake - why wasn't that available at the same time as BRX?  I would've rather purchased the staking coin as I suck at poker    Can I exchange BRX for this other, staking coin somehow - or deposit them in the wallet & stake from there?  Bittrex is lagging hard right now, can't even log in...getting an answer here is going to be quicker  (wtf is going on @ bittrex)

There is definite manipulation.  There is a block of 100 BTC plus orders that suddenly appeared out of nowhere - if it was a set of multiple natural buy orders there should have been a significant rise in price.  Instead it seems like someone is just putting up a buy wall with the intent of later pulling it out and collapsing the price.  It's an old whale trick to cause panic.

Edit: It has happened several times with WAVES just before a major FUD offensive.

All that said, that does not make it a scam.  The devs aren't responsible for how people trade on the exchange.  It is out of their control.  The only thing that can combat this kind of manipulation is big volume and I don't see that any time soon.
