I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ to run cgminer for a few months now, and I've noticed lately more and more that I'm having issues with my wifi continually disconnecting! This was an issue early on, however I resolved it by just pinging addresses continually and this seemed to keep to wifi active for a couple of months. This doesn't seem to be working now.

I've tried out most of the troubleshooting ideas posted online, however none of them seem to be working for me.

Anyone here had the same issue on there Pi 3 B+ and resolved it?

Raspberry Pi (Raspien)

Hey guys,

So I keep getting HW errors on my Newpac, and every few hours cgminer reads: missing nonces, Toggling ASIC nRST to reset.

My Newpac then resets, however I've noticed this is effecting my hashrate.

This issue is exclusive to my Newpac, I'm running two 2pacs on the same usb hub and they are performing very well with no issues. (I've been running the  Newpac at 300MHz the last few days, and last night I  lowered it to 275MHz but its still producing HW errors.) (The 2Pacs are both running at 150MHz)

Can anyone help me out with this? I have no idea how to get rid of these HW errors.

Has anyone else had this issue with their Newpac?

Does anyone know what the optimal thread-concurrency setting is for the Newpac and 2pac? and how to change the thread-concurrency setting on a Raspberry Pi running Raspien?

Yes, got it working   It seems the key step I was missing was setting up the .sh file. So I followed the instructions posted by mstrozier and my gekko's are all overclocked now and seem to be working well.

Yes! I thought of that but I'm not sure how to do this on the Pi, as there is no BAT file to edit.

Does anybody know how to overclock the Newpac and 2pac miners on cgminer, via Raspien (Raspberry Pi)?

I'm currently running 1 - Newpac and 2 - 2Pac's on an Orico USB hub - via a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ (Raspien latest version) on CGminer (latest version), however I just can't seem to overclock them.  

- I have tried using these commands in terminal with my details before running cgminer --gekko-newpac-freq 200 --gekko-2pac-freq 150, however they just mine at their standard rate of 100mHz.  

Besides this issue my setup and mining session is running perfectly on CGminer, no problems at all.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

Can anyone help me out?
