http://blog.bitfinex.com/announcements/bch-overview-information-bitfinex-users/

When will BCH deposits and withdrawals be available?
BCH deposits and withdrawals will not be enabled until we deem it is safe to do so. It is impossible to approximate the exact time, and it could potentially take 24 hours or longer. Do not send BCH deposits until we make BCH addresses available. This is very important. Furthermore, be sure to split your coins post-fork prior to sending us deposits.

Re: Coinjoin vs stealth transactions - darkcoin vs bitshares

to answer the op's question...

Darkcoin's darksend is the clear winner on this front IF this is your only concern.

This is coming from a bitshares guy.

Now if you want to throw other things into the mix like market pegged assets backed by collateral.

The ability to self fund via 100% paid delegates(should also mention that share supply is effectively still hard capped via block reward halving).

A platform that gives you the freedom to move from cny, usd, gold, silver, bitcoin all while earning interest.Never mind trading features like shorting.

10 sec block times with a avg confirmation time of 5 sec https://bitsharesblocks.com/ or crowd funding options via user issued assets.

But yes as it sits today Darkcoin is more anonymous imho.

Dump half......

Keep the other half and split between btc and a select few alts.

Do the above and you can at the very least smile a little, no matter what happens.

I like the open baazar idea, haven't kept up with the latest information.

However, it still sucks to use bitcoins for it because of the price fluctuations and the fees involved with buying and selling bitcoins.

For most products it will still make sense to use ebay and pay the fees because most people simply won't use open baazar if all they accept is bitcoins. You're going to get a lot more money for your product on ebay even with the fees than on open baazar.

Of course if you can sell illegal items like drugs on openbaazar then that is a different story.,

Using bitcoins only complicates things that USD does so much more easily. In Europe they are also able to transfer cash much easier and cheaper with their bank transfers.

What is Bitshares Video

What you are wanting is bitUSD, a market pegged asset within Bitshares. We also have bitGLD,bitSLV, bitCNY and even bitBTC.

Whats the lowest you'd accept ? PM me if you like.

1000$ is a nice round number and that's half price.

Whats the lowest you'd accept ? PM me if you like.

Warning!  KingofSports is a known/proven scammer!  Use escrow for any transaction.

Thanks for the heads up,

I should clarify the only way I won't use escrow is if you send first.....So I am going to assume nearly any party would want to use escrow.

Re: 2014 Proof of Honor (POH) Awards - Nominate an Individual!
by
Gentso1
on 24/11/2014, 19:26:05 UTC
I would like to nominate Daniel "bytemaster" Larimer.

Among other things, Larimer worked out how to create bitAssets, that is, assets (like bitUSD) that exist on a blockchain but are pegged to the value their real world counterpart, Larimer pioneered the notion of a Distributed Autonomous Company (DAC), Larimer built Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) and Transfer Invisibly To a Name (TITAN) to serve as the underlying BitShares blockchain-technology, Larimer outlined the relation between decentralization, economies of scale and cost.

Larimer also started the bounty for the most watched Bitcoin video ever back in 2010.

Larimer also deserves special mention for being exceptionally generous and honest with his projects, outlining them in detail on the forums long before developing them, sharing all his insights and solutions immediately as he thinks of them, encouraging people to challenge them, and having all code and written content available openly with free access.

I am for it, too.
I would like to nominate Daniel Larimer - references above

+1 for Dan Larimer.
