i wouldn't call it key because although what you are saying is going to be great if it happens but it is still going to target a very small group of people whoa are actually buying tickets. how many people can actually go to an stadium and watch the matches anyways?
interestingly enough we will see this in action during the 2020 Olympics which is held in Japan.............. Yes to my well able hero comment, but at least ,most countries international sports are sponsored by their government's,so them getting to know about Crypto currency, can make them create their own digital currency, and possibly legalized Crypto, being it,its the only or a major means of participation

Bitcoin is not a pumps and dumps scheme, its going up and going down simply show's the trade that goes on daily basis,.its very profitable for a good trader.
I follow John McAfee like for his everyday tweets, fine they hacked but could not get the money out of the wallet,my question is ?what then did they hack..its like opening a door to steal with all struggles and getting in,you can't carry anything..hhmm waist of talent..

Though trading and holdlong is a good option for profitability, but I believe the early adopters will really benefit more, because they saw light in it and before it got so bright..

You actually mentioned something's that are new to some of us here,I think the wallet depends, then if a good hacker is on your case, its only God that can save you,but I still recommend bitfil.com as wallet for any Cryptos..
Sorry to say this to you,Bitcoin is already a global currency, I don't know how you want to see it ,but its the truth,if a country like Russia,Vietnam, are using Cryptos, and Bitcoin is the king, they must surely patronize bitcoin..
