Fees for Sending Money to Friends and Family
The fees applicable to sending money can be found on the Fees for Sending Money to Friends and Family page and will be disclosed to you in advance each time you initiate a transaction to send money to a friend or family member.  If you convert money in your PayPal balance from one currency to another before sending money, you also will pay a currency conversion spread for that conversion.  And, if you use your credit card as the payment method when sending money, you may be charged a cash-advance fee by your card issuer.
If you send money to a friend or family member from a third party (non-PayPal) website or by using a third party’s product or service, then the third party will determine if the sender or recipient pays the fee.  This will be disclosed to you by the third party before the payment is initiated.
You can also use the send money feature in your PayPal account to pay for good or services.  You will not be charged for sending money to purchase goods or services as long as you choose the “send money to pay for goods and services” feature in your PayPal account.  In that case, the seller selling the goods or services pays the fees. You may not use the “send money to a friend or family member” feature in your PayPal account when you are paying for goods and services.


straight from Paypal's site, if you send this guy/girl money and try to initiate a chargeback with paypal because they dont send the item, paypal will tell you to eat dust for sending money via friends and family for a good or service

well at least you are admitting that people can't use Paypal's "chargeback" feature when sending money "friends and family" after you don't send their item.

For anyone reading this, buyer protection on PayPal doesn't apply if you are using friends and family to buy goods.

I was going to take him up on his paypal offer, until he told me to send it as a family and friend gift. To everyone reading, you CANNOT dispute charges that are sent as gifts to friends and family on paypal. He has no issue with you using paypal to receive the money as a "gift", because paypal wont come after him when you try to dispute it because it was sent through the friends/family option.

Well that's the thing, until I gave him a bad trust rating he didn't have anything showing. Just had a 0/0 trust rating.


Oh well, I went and did a police report and asked them what steps they would have me take. They told me to make a report with the federal trade commission and at least that way they could get the site taken down. If more people were scammed and are willing to report, PM me. The more people I can get to come forward the more serious they will take it. I'm also in the process of contacting his service provider and also payment provider to alert them of the scam, but that will have to wait until Monday.

So he's scammed 200 BTC already?!?

Hopefully this will help others. Before I sent him anything I checked everywhere I could for forums if this company was legit or not. Unfortunately there were only a few threads where people "thought" he was a scammer but never actually showed proof they were scammed. It was a nice $500 buck lesson to be learned to anyone reading this.

Yeah I will post it all tomorrow, I have text messages with the number listed from their website and can screenshot the Bitcoin/litecoin transactions I made with him.

I have updated several threads, but since bitcoinelectronics.net wants to ignore me, I will be exposing him as the fraud he is every chance I get.

Tried more than one time to reach bitcoinelectronics.net for my over order and have received nothing. It's clear now that I was scammed, which is a shame. I will be taking all the necissary steps to report him to his states district attorney considering the dollar amount and make sure, at the very least, his site gets taken down so he can not scam anyone else

Same, except I was out over $400 in bitcoin and litecoin. I will be taking the proper steps tomorrow to f*uck his entire world up, especially considering the dollar amount puts him in felony charges standards.  I have given him more than a couple chances to right his wrong, but do not trust this seller at all.

I bought two S5 miners from bitcoinelectronics Friday and haven't received them. I will update this thread if they end up not showing. I am in St.Louis and he was supposably shipping from Chicago so we will see. I will update the threads if it ends up being a scam.

I paid for two s5 units with him. Have been going back and forth in text, suppose to be here Tuesday by the latest. I will let you know if it's a scam or not

I would be careful with ebay, I sold BTC on ebay and some guy did a chargeback on them. I had already withdrew the money from PayPal ($650 bucks) but PayPal sided with them since it was a "virtual good" and I couldn't "prove" I sent them... Even though I had ebay messages and the block chain showing I sent them. Moral of the story, PayPal sent me to a creditor that I now have to fight. It's total crap
