What kinda hashrate outta those 470's...each ??

I didn't mod the bios, I'm getting around 150 sols per second (100mv undervolt) per card, for ZCash. The rig pulls around 700W at the wall.

Currently, 1 block is worth ~23 USD, and a single rig of 6 GPUs is capable of finding 1 block per day at current difficulty. Bismuth is one of the most profitable coins to mine right now.

~23 USD/day on 6 of which GPUs? Forgive my ignorance, but is that supposed to be good?

One block is now around $90 USD (14.5 coins @ $6 USD each). The price rose.

OP was involved with a HYIP/ponzi.

While it may be a legitimate pool, don't discount the possibility that you will mine on his/her pool and never receive payment. It has happened many times in the past and will continue if people don't bother to look at people's Trust/history.

I have not had any dealings with the OP nor this pool he may very well be an upstanding member, but Vod doesn't hand out negative Trust for no reason. I, personally, would not support this endeavor.

As with any coin/pool do you research before jumping.

Yes I have run the only successful HYIP in the space. Basically did altcoin trading for the people that participated. Also promised that their balances would be reimbursed if there was a loss accrued while trading. Ending with every investor getting their money back with a sweet return (over 100+ BTC). Vod refused to remove the feedback of course, feeling his ego got damaged since I was the first fund manager to actually deliver returns for investors. This was 2 years ago now. I have 1 negative feedback and many dozens of positive feedback.

Oh and by the way, I don't run those two pools. Each one is run by a different individual, and each one has a unique miner implementation on the GPU.

Price is up a couple hundred percent since the latest post. Mining is extremely profitable, please support the network! It is much more profitable to mine BIS than other coins right now.

have we decided how many coins will be required for a masternode?

The lead dev (hclivess) has stated on Twitter that the preferred collateral for the upcoming masternodes would be 10,000 Bismuth.

Bismuth ~ Python Blockchain ~ SHA224 ~ Most Profitable GPU Coin

Hi all,

Just recently, GPU Miners have been made public for the SHA224-base64 mining algorithm Bismuth employs. Bismuth is a Python blockchain coded from scratch and has every line written in Python over the course of nearly 2 years of development (testnet since 2016, launched May 2017). The Bismuth platform retains capabilities encompassed by many leading alternative currencies such as dAPPS and tokens featured by Ethereum, anonymity from Monero, and on-chain messaging/notes featured in multiple other platforms. Bismuth draws ideas from the best of the best cryptocoins and reformulates/recreates it in Python to be compatible with the Bismuth platform. Every line of Bismuth's code is original, and not copied from any other project. As of this post, the Bismuth project has over 2,000 commits on github by its extremely competent development team.

ACCPool GPU Miner (Nvidia and AMD/Windows) - https://bismuth.acc-pool.pw/
EggPool GPU Miner (Nvidia and AMD/Windows and Linux) - http://eggpool.net/

An AMD RX 470/480/570/580 should achieve anywhere between 400-600 MH using the above pool software.
An Nvidia 1080 Ti should achieve anywhere between 1000-1600 MH using the above pool software.

To the few individuals still saying Baikal is an FPGA:

The Baikal hashing units are ASIC chips utilizing 28nm cores with subdivided arrays of nodes that hash specific links in the chained X11 algo (eg; Groestl, Echo, Blue-Midnight-Wish). Same thing for Bitmain Smiley

No you have no idea what you are talking about.

LMAO you are so clueless and making an utter fool of yourself. Baikal themselves stated that the chips were full custom application-specific, not reprogrammable.

Uninformed stubborn newcomers like you are typically the first people that get burned on the first leg down. Wisen up and listen to people that have been in this industry longer than you.

I am retracting the public sale of the AMD windows miner.

There will be a Windows miner provided by the dev team very soon.

I have dropped the price of the miner to 3.5 BTC. It mines on Windows and allows usage of AMD gpus.

No longer for sale.

To all unaware, there is a Linux Nvidia miner available in Slack provided by the dev of EggPool.net ("EggdraSyl"). Beautiful pool UI.

GPU miner is going to be released soon. Check slack

The miner that will be released "soon" will ONLY embody Nvidia cards as it is written in CUDA. It will also be locked onto a single pool with a fee as well. My release is written in OpenCL and can mine on both AMD and Nvidia, and even my OpenCL Nvidia implementation has a bit higher hashrate than his.

I prefer regular updates instead of a newbie dev who just panic and run.

And it is spam accounts such as yourself that degrade the cryptocurrency environment with nonsense bullshit posts on random forum threads.

I have disclosed the BTC address for the Bismuth AMD/Nvidia GPU miner in my forum signature. Once the balance has reached 5 BTC, I will release a windows executable file with the miner as well as a zip file with the source code.
