Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022?
by

on 02/10/2017, 07:42:15 UTC
I think by 2020 is somewhat of an extend, yet who knows? All the more reasonably likely twofold that time. I think for bitcoin to be utilized by practically everybody it would require a budgetary transformation. It would mean power disappearing from degenerate governments and organizations. That won't occur without an insurgency. Give it time, yet one day I figure it will happen, it needs to happen.

Government gains funds through taxes, I suggest to just earn taxes from bitcoin. how?, well our government in our country accept bitcoin and now they earning through foreign exchange. People can invest in this establishments where our government permits to operate. And also the unemployment and underemployment rate in our country become lessen as more people in our country uses bitcoin.

I will workout my way by using vpn services or may be through the friends living abroad. That would be very hard time but thinking about being banned is hardest one.  I don't have any fiat income and I really like how it works for me. If let's say bitcoin will be banned from here but not in Japan, I'll probably find a way to exchange it with Japanese Yen and then exchange it to my local fiat.

Ethereum, Ark and Stratis appear to have nice fundamentals for growth.

I agree about investing in ETH. Blockchain have already added support for eth coin. So you can now buy safe eth with btc at the same time.  So that means that people want to make eth bigger.

I would invest in eth, but i have already invested in lite coin. LTC is for me the sleeping giant it has the potential to rise.

Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
by
Gliassa
on 18/09/2017, 08:17:30 UTC
You should choose it if you have noticed a lot of people became rich of bitcoin. Why should you not ? You just have to invest in bitcoin and make profit from it.

You can also be anonymous so the government can't see how much bitcoins you have.

Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever
by
Gliassa
on 18/09/2017, 08:15:04 UTC
I would sell it to make money, because when bitcoin was and you had invested you would now make a lot of money. So you should sell it otherwise you would not make some money.

You can also save your bitcoin for an example if you have invested a few days ago i would suggest you to wait for bitcoin to hit 6000 dollars at least to sell it.

Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin?
by
Gliassa
on 18/09/2017, 08:12:21 UTC
It is never too late i think if you buy now you will still have profit because bitcoin is going to rise again to the top and no one knows the actual top it can reach that is why i think there is no bad time for buying bitcoin.

Yes i agree, bitcoin is now rising. It was a few days ago 3200 now it its 3800 dollars worth. So if you had invested when bitcoin was 3200 you would now make profit or you could wait for it to rise even higher.

I think that bitcoin will hit 5000 dollars in the future i would then sell all my coins, and make some money.

In john.wavesplatform we trust.

Excellent Sasha hired some buffoons to promote competitors with scam ico's.

@Sasha kick this moron out of the team and don't let this NVO moron ruin the reputation of Waves. Or is this your hired gun ICO? Like Tidex is not your exchange?
In that case a brilliant move.

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
The government will only accept the Bitcoin if they will get some money out of it otherwise they won't accept it.
The government don't like the Bitcoin because they can't make profit from it.

this is just fudder attack or scam detected?

To be fair, folks are just getting at the truth. Personally, I'm being kind, else Full Gleb would be in play. Can't speak for others posting about Mr. Dai et al. I didn't like posting about RV's involvement, even requested some other via PM to post, but during the interim the time came for me to act.

Hope that helps in your assessment, bud.

Oh, and Team Qtum has been cool about not deleting posts in this self-moderated thread (as far as I know).

you have a nice point.

this is more like a personal attack.

seems bitbay team want to pump their price. i will buy some bitbay incase they pump it.

Lol it seems you are on QTUM payroll's too. After all the proof
- David's explanation:

- Elmer's explanation:

And him admitting he in fact is/was Steven Dai...
How sad are you.. All they want to do is to prevent other investors/people to become a victim of this man Dai. Who has become a serial scammer now.

BTW your boss, this Dai person, is reading this too, so you may want to do a better job, else he will scam you too.

They already have "millions of $" from their angel backers, so what for do they need us small fishes for the ICO?

Because it is Steven Dai. He knows very well how to scam bitcointalk investors. If the project was that good, the investors would probably bought them out and keep for themself.
Which is why they can only sell 49%. A very odd number.

What suprises me though is the fact, another victim of Steven came forward today:
https://soundcloud.com/physibles/interview-with-elmerlin-about-patrickdai-aka-stephendai-from-qtumofficial-qtum-bitbayofficial

And Brett/ Earlz/ John decided that the ICO will commence as planned.

How sad? I do  understand that they will lose their job without an ICO and hence they keep defending Steven. But with so much evidence, this Steven Dai is the "Hitler" of ICO"s
Why risk a venture which is doomed for failure because your boss is a famous conman/scamartist??

Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Inventor of PoSP!
by
Gliassa
on 27/02/2017, 00:05:04 UTC
From what I have gathered, the sale of the Cryptsy coins has occurred in agreement and distribution should be in about a month. I personally communicated with the party handling the sale and it sounds like the purchaser of CBX bought a bundle of the low liquidity coins. What this individual intends is yet to be identified but they will now be the largest stake holder in CBX (outside of the escrow for SPK).

My next question will these coins still be made useless with the introduction of the new chain?

We have discussed this. There will be no making useless of these coins. They exist on the CBX network and that will never change.

There is however a potential of creating a new coin / chain that does not include these coins but nothing is in motion towards this possibility at this time.

Indeed. I believe we should wait and see what happens to the CBX soon held by the new buyer, and try to figure out what their intentions are if possible. He may as well be a well-intentioned investor, and that should pose no problem whatsoever to CBX.

Unfortunately the problem is pre-existing to the Cryptsy distribution. As VonSpass has mentioned numerous times there is a parasitic whale or whales that are content to sell at the .0006+ range. Despite all of the teams efforts we were never able to garner enough interest to have this road block removed by those willing to invest into a future. This obstacle essentially managed to break the CBX team and stop progress - which is understandable. Its never fun working your ass off for someone else to reap all of the reward despite no contribution to the work effort. This issue still exists so we are looking at the necessity of a major influx of investment into CBX to overcome this. The development and advertising tact did not achieve the goal despite intensive effort.

So where do we go from here?

That shouldn't be a problem currently. That whales has it's coins on Yobit.
A scammy and lousy exchanged.

Luckily for CBX they don't allow withdrawals (For over a month now). Which means this Whale can't withdraw his/her coins.

There is another whale on cryptopia with 30k of Cbx , why didn't  he just stake those . And a new whale with 124k from crapsy!

Clearly he is trying to resume his whale game again. Sad that some people get their life enjoyment out of that.
However that was a quick fix. The real/long fix is to get the development team, developing again.

And like BTCat stated start a Marketing team.

At this price I find it very risky to buy. But I have to say the dev. team did work on the project and that's good.

Re: Cloud (VPS, VDS, Dedicated) companies that accept Bitcoin?
by

on 26/02/2017, 00:23:37 UTC
I
Interesting way to look at it, and that does make sense. I'd love for a competitive one to pop up that accepts BTC as well. Love my current host (cheap, effective, and the staff is knowledgeable) but can't get them to take BTC.

From what I've seen, there are still a good number of hosting companies that accept bitcoin and are well worth the price (in other words, cheap). I'm currently using one with great pricing + support members) and accepts bitcoin as well.

What I can advice is to read the reviews. I found this list a while ago.
It's not comprehensive but they did review more then 1 hosting company: https://themerkle.com/category/reviews/hosting/

A very handy list if you ask me.

Qtum is confirmed scam, you can watch this in Qtum Ann theard.
What is the reason for being a scam. I think the ICO is not over yet and they are conducting a huge promotional campaign too and it is a sad thing to see more scams and what is the conclusion now as no one from Qtum has responded to it and they have not deleted any messages too in a self moderated topic.

I did checked the ANN thread of Qtum and still monitoring them to confirm to myself if they are an actual and confirmed scam.

But seeing it's thread, it's looks like it's just an accusation and still they are backed up with big guys behind this project.

And I don't think this project is an actual scam.

I don't think the big guys are aware of this patrick dai. Else there would have bene no funding
On slack Patrick did acknowledge that he in fact is steven dai. The guy who run away with 200 BTC investors money.

Exactly how much proof do you need before you start thinking?

Re: Genesis Mining 2
by
Gliassa
on 26/02/2017, 00:05:35 UTC
I would call them a scam based on my experience I had with them in the beginning. I thought to join them and buy 1 Terrahash because I see massive advertising campaigns in facebook, youtube , videos and description of their mining farm located in Iceland etc. It was all good the first 2.5 months and then after this time passed they shut down my contract with the following reason:

"We shut down your miner because with increasing difficulty is not profitable anymore to keep it on. You would have done the same if you had the miner in your home"

So I had a 1 year contract with them and the contract did finish right after 2.5 months passed for the above reason. This looked exactly a perfect scam trap. I learned my lesson to never join any cloud mining again no matter how legit they are.

I do count them as a scam.
Firstly they delete all negative replies. That's shady and proof of their business conduct.

Then there was a period were I mined with them.
They cheated on the fees for scrypt mining. I did confronted them even show the correct calculations. They adjusted it for future payments but old payments were never reimbursed.

Then they closed scrypt mining (which was still profitable), hence forcing users with 200 MH scrrypt (3k USD) to trade them for 200 GH SHA (worth a couple of bucks).
