Hi Everyone,
1 year has passed and our Team and Minereum are still here.
Although the current market situation is not the best one, and we wish it was better for everyone, we feel that our mission during the first year was done by delivering the first self mining smart contract to the crypto community.
Furthermore, during the first year we focused on delivering and maintaining the Token Creation Service, creating the Minereum App Prototype and assisting with the delivery of Artemine.
About the Minereum Token Service, approximately 1000 tokens were created during the first year and 611137 MNE were burned. You can read a research published by the user @cryptedrice here:

We will keep maintaining this service.
About the Minereum App, the Prototype was released months ago to the community. However we experienced some set backs particularly with apple. Apple is not allowing us to publish the app in the app store. The reason for this they say is because they are not allowing Augmented Reality applications that simply allow users to look around and pick up objects. We believe this is because of the some security policies that they have to prevent users from using these kind of apps in situations that can be dangerous (for example while driving). Nevertheless we have been exploring other options but at this stage we just have the prototype available.
About Artemine, we assisted the delivery of the new Token, in particular we made it possible for all the MNE received during the Crowdsale to be burned to the Token Creation Service address.
During the coming year we will continue exploring options to improve Minereum usage in the crypto community and we will provide more news once we have details on upcoming features.

I've got two Minereum genesis addresses (shame on me, I signed up twice) and I'm shocked by the amount of support the dev is still getting. Yes, I'd love for this coin to 'go to the moon' but besides possibly holding a ton of genesis addresses, the Dev has consistently shown that he's not interested in updating investors or transparency.
Maybe the world app comes to fruition, but even if it does, it could be the coolest app in the world and if the Dev continues to proceed the way he has in the past, it will fail miserably. The marketing and communication is lacking considerably. Just a weekly update or two would've kept this coin from dropping as precipitously as it has.
I guess people are just blinded by greed and emotion. Just my two cents.

I don't understand how it exactly works. Ok you will pay 10 dollatsfor creation of simplest etc token. But where I can enter name of the token for example? At the moment codes of simple tokens are open and free, what the value of this service?

Musclepump showed definitive proof that a massive amount of Minereum genesis addresses belonged to 1 person. As the genesis addresses were airdropped, that can literally only mean one thing, which is that the devs kept around 1000 addresses for themselves. Second, the devs are anonymous, they have no clear roadmap, and they stated that construction on the app had barely even begun because of technical difficulties. I don't hate this coin, in fact I want to see it succeed very badly because friends of mine have invested quite a lot of money into it, but don't you see the difference between minereum and lets say Sonm, or Stratis, in terms of devs activity, transparancy, roadmap, the existance of an actual product, the use case of the coin/platform, ... All I hear on this thread is 'when this goes to the moon...' or 'this coin will go to 100$ before the year is over', but theres literally zero evidence for that. The devs created a nice technology, but a fairly useless one, I'm afraid. The coin is there, in fact about four thousand new ones are created daily, but there's no demand other than speculation from people saying 'the app is gonna do this or that'. That's all we're saying.

that's a picture from june, don't pretend like they just posted this. The minereum devs have been silent for over a month I believe, plus they admitted that they basically have nothing finished for the app because it was too difficult to create. I haven't given up hope that they'll be able to create something cool, and artemine looks to be going in the right direction, but you should know i sold all my MNE, at a loss, a while ago, so I really don't care anymore
