You're going to have a hard time convincing people in the bitcoin community to download and run executables. Have you considered a web-based model?
Especially high rollers, heck even low rollers in some cases lol

This.

O/T: Will be visiting some of these places very soon - have sort of made it my mission to visit everything that accepts BTC in Melbourne (without going out of my way that is).

Have already went to a few listed on the dcpos website!

Re: [2013-12-20] Australian Bank Publishes Report ‘Bitcoin to replace AUD?’
by
GnB
on 18/01/2014, 08:32:54 UTC
The report is by NAB, which appears to be by far the most bitcoin-friendly of the Aussie banks. My former bank, the Communist Bank Grin is bitcoin-hostile. There are mixed reactions about ANZ; it seems as though they aren't necessarily overtly anti-bitcoin per se, but they have "fraud concerns".

How do you classify the Australian banks as bitcoin-friendly and bitcoin-hostile? Has the Communist bank suspended savings accounts for doing BTC transactions?
Friendly:
NAB/Westpac have currently taken on many of Australia's Bitcoin-based businesses with little issues (that I've heard of at least).

Hostile:
The business + personal accounts of all the coinjar founders were closed within a few weeks of releasing the website to the public (commonwealth bank).

Not to sure about the others but that's one real example.

I think 2 start-ups will be introducing themselves but I'm going more for the chance to meet some other people with the same interests and I know a lot of developers are going for that same purpose as well if you fall into that category.

Very good news for BTC! there's still no telling who will be the first major player to adopt the currency though.

Can't expect much if out of those 100 people only a couple played and for a tiny amount.

You would need to get a whale to sign up to actually make some BTC.
This + if their house edge is low to begin with then it still isn't worth it even if you do get a 'whale'

The banks would never allow this nor would any functional economy because as far as they're concerned their system works.

App probably glitched itself.

Double tap home button and depending weather you have iOS6 or iOS7 either:

iOS7
Drag the app up to close it then reopen

iOS6 and lower
If you have iOS6 just hold your finger on the app until the "X" pops up next to it and close the app that way and then relaunch and you should be good.

Let me know how you go.

Really like the name of this crypto tbh, sadly it's been introduced in an overinflated market with not much trust for new releases (not many adopters regardless of that anyway)

Best of luck to EarthCoin!

My name isn't even david and who would give their private key and password over to a stranger... plus the message was sent from an amazon cloud.
