For those who are wondering what's UniPay = one of the biggest card issuers in the world, even bigger than Visa and Matsrecard... their only fault is that they are Chinese corporation and a lot of russians are using their cards. I'm not russian nor chinese. This is really the filed ofr which cryptos are intended for. For taking control of your own finaces. But it doesn't really work if there's no connection to fiat money - at least yet. Let's invent something that works.

It seems UnionPay is blocked in Europe in many places online and offline, which I feel is a good indicator to push DeFI even more without regulations. this is ridiculous, I can't withdraw my money because of traditional finance such as ATM networks have chosen to block UnionPay cards quite much everywhere... at least in EU.

Does any Exchange accept UnionPay card for deposit?
Tried Gate.io, but their CC processor for UnionPay (Mercuryo) for some reason doesn't accept the card.

Putting such a message on the crypto wallet is ...at least strange, whatever the situation is. Leaving the community without a downloadable wallet core is something else.

Anyway, how understandable it may be, taking sides utilizing the wallet app splashing politically sided messages against users' faces is somewhat against all principles of why I've been playing with cryptos, trustless, neutrality, permissionless, privacy, etc. The only such message that fits is the message asking for donations for the dev team for maintaining the app or just to thank them for the effort in creating the app.
