Re: Celebrity Owned TIDAL Purchased $7 Million Worth of Sensorium Social VR Platform
by
Godstrength
on 01/09/2020, 20:45:55 UTC
SENSO, a VR token is suddenly in the spotlight following a $7 million purchase from TIDAL — global music and video streaming service co-owned by Rihanna, Daft Punk, Lil Wayne, Chris Martin, and Calvin Harris.

Will this news with huge music celebrities help drive more people to crypto, or will it have the same impact of celebrities promoting crypto last 2017?

I think the music industry is already is crypto way back, it's just it is not well adopted. But seeing this kind of move from big celebrities, it might get back into the limelight. I'm looking at the price of Senso and it seems it was not affected by the positive news,

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/senso

$0.232443 0.5%

But I will say that it might take long though before it could have a drastic effect to the music industry. It's the fans that are going to used this token so we don't know if they are going to move using Senso to buy albums online or in retail stores.

This massive news seem to have not pushed the token price upwards, but still good traction for the project to be involved with these big artists.

Re: What are DeFi projects lacking? Symbol from NEM aims to solving it. Opinion?
by

Will Symbol become the first token designed on the NEM platform or will it be a fork of the NEM blockchain. it is true that DEFI products lacks values in the blockchain platform and the only reasonable usercase is to store or lend and wait for the price to go up. apart from that, they have no other value to the blockchain.

Re: Reasons Why am I adding as many Ethereum bags as possible?
by

I have a good feeling that ETH can achieve those numbers or get near $1,000 before EOY. ETH2.0 tested without any issues showing up at all, this is one of the reasons why ETH pumped like crazy for the past few days.

You also have to admire what Vitalik and the team is doing, they're not stopping with the project development and is kinda similar to what NEM has been doing. If ETH2.0 is for ETH, they got Symbol which is blockchain for businesses, people are already using it prior to their token launch.

Re: Delegated harvesting lets you passively earn block rewards on-chain. Possible?
by

So, do you have to hold some XYM's in order to harvest?

As far as I know, your rights to earn rewards are based on how many XYM coins you are holding, but from what I read, you can delegate those rights to someone else’s node so they will earn rewards on your behalf.

Hmm, I don't know what to feel about that. The risk-reward ratio should be in favor of me then.

Re: How can ICOs come back in the game?
by
Godstrength
on 09/08/2020, 17:24:19 UTC
I think the ICO project is difficult to come back again, especially when investors are disappointed with the many ICO project scams.
Even investors have started to switch to investing in IEO projects that have proven to be more profitable. We have to move on from
the ICO, because for me the ICO is already dead and it is no longer feasible to provide benefits. Imagine in 2019 I have read article
ICO projects in circulation 99% scams. That's a percentage that reflects that ICOs never come back in the game.

ICO's already have a bad reputation, and most people will shy away from your coin offering if you're running it on a traditional ICO system. The 2017 scams really left a bad scar behind crypto, not just purely ICO.

Re: HOW TO INCREASE THE GLOBAL ACCEPTIBILITY OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
by
Godstrength
on 09/08/2020, 17:22:39 UTC
There are a lot of ways, but we need the big players in the space to start the movement. An example in the crypto industry are AT&T accepting Bitcoin as payment, and PayPal starting to integrate crypto in their system, etc.

But in the blockchain technology side, there are still hindrance which prevents wide-spread adoption. As a firm-believer of the technology, I really appreciate how major projects help us achieve this. An example is ETH and NEM building blockchains for businesses to help fraud, cybercrime, and incorporate all the benefits of blockchain into their system.

If we can get these big guns to start using blockchain, then the easier we can get global acceptance.

I don't really trust Justin anymore, I actually see him being very shady because of how he handles himself in social media.

While on the other hand, ETH is really the real deal. Vitalik and the team are continuously running off the charts, and exceeding expectations with the arrival of ETH 2.0. Most coins run on the ethereum blockchain and gives a similar vibe of how NEM's blockchain for business make things seamless for people to integrate into it.

Both good projects and team, but overall, its hard to be compared against ETH.

Not shocked with Tencent since they already invested in crypto projects in the past, but good to hear that they're getting themselves into the industry directly.

Can blockchain technology be a solution to solve all these crimes that may happen because of the new pandemic reality?

Good read. These platforms should propose to more companies so that we can get more people using blockchain.

NEM (XEM) Marks Improvement Amidst Volatility
by
Godstrength
on 25/07/2020, 05:23:12 UTC
NEM coin’s recent market momentum has astounded many in the market. The currency has been holding the current position strong from over a couple of days and looks like it might continue the same. The heavy pick and drop might affect the coin but not substantially.

According to recent news, NEM has invested in SharpShark. The company is a Symbol-powered time-stamping service provider that protects the creator(s)’ copyrights. SharpShark also allows the tokenization and transfer of intellectual property along with the auto-monitoring of violations.

SharpShark aims to diagnose plagiarism, remove copyright infringement to give users complete control over their respective creations. Ultimately, the service allows the users to experience an equitable decentralized option for safeguarding intellectual property.

As for their upcoming platform Symbol from NEM they have enabled "to" exchanges for $XEM. It means, now you can swap $XEM with 96 different coins in both ways.

Is NEM one of the good coins to hold during this altseason? And should we buy more?

This can be the future for real. I also saw Lithuania kinda trying to do the same thing. To celebrate their Act of Independence, the Bank of Lithuania, through LBCoin, is issuing 24,000 blockchain-based digital tokens and 4,000 physical silver collector coins. That's all using NEM's Symbol blockchain. I guess Ripple and NEM are leading the way of integrating blockchain everywhere.

Re: How effective can blockchain be in healthcare during this pandemic?
by
Godstrength
on 16/07/2020, 09:36:07 UTC

Is this something that hospitals, health centers, governments should take a look into? Especially that this virus can stay with us for 1~2 more years.

Many of us don't realize how our personal information or health record is used or stored. Cyber attacks and theft of intellectual property is always a risk and blockchain is indeed the solution for these future problems that we may encounter. We know that things can be vulnerable, especially with what happened with the Twitter scams.

Bank of Lithuania's making the world’s first digital collector coin using NEM
by
Godstrength
on 14/07/2020, 13:15:15 UTC
Bank of Lithuania wanted to celebrate the 1918 Act of Independence and the innovative role the 20 original signatories played in the creation and development of the Lithuanian state.  At the same time, the Bank wanted to progress the Central bank’s understanding and use of virtual currencies, providing greater depth of understanding in numismatics and engaging younger citizens in coin collecting using elements of gamification and play.

To celebrate the Act of Independence of 16 February 1918 and its 20 signatories, the Bank of Lithuania, through LBCoin, is issuing 24,000 blockchain-based digital tokens and 4,000 physical silver collector coins.

NEM Symbol APIs ensure seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and processes - it is focused on enterprise needs and developers that used to work with those. Furthermore, tiered architecture and plug-in based solutions improves flexibility and speeds up development time dramatically. Asides from this, Symbol's token will be used on Wine companies, IoDLT, insurance, real estate, etc.

Re: Alts Market Cap Latest Update.......
by
Godstrength
on 12/07/2020, 12:48:35 UTC
Majority of the alts has all ascended for the past few days/last one week and there will really come a time where it will dump. So people has to set their stop loss.

Biggest takeaway here is that people should avoid as much risk as possible. Avoid going with alts that doesn't have any proven track record yet, and go with ones that will most likely succeed. An example is Symbol from NEM which is a secure value exchange network for businesses, since the parent company is already successful, it will most likely to follow it's success. These kinds of projects is what we should go after.

Feels like alt season again. But this is what happens to alts that are being supported or backed by big names already. I see the same thing possibly happening to NEM's Symbol. Their new token will more likely follow their success too.

Is there any specific reason why TikTok promoted Dogecoin?

We definitely will, its not just NEM who's doing it, but even other companies are already using blockchain technology in their businesses. Its just a matter of introducing the tech side to them.
