I had two quick questions:

How often do proof of stake blocks come in?

Also, how do I restore my wallet if I have a backup?

I'm trying to run a credencecoin node directly. How do I mine from the node? (Usually its setgenerate 1)

Just curious, which coin is Credence coin forked directly from?
Of course it is forked from the CCR (Credence Clearwater Revival) coin.
Any answers which are serious xD?

Altcoin Development Questions (Getting stuck after connecting nodes)
by
Goldbach

Hey everyone,

I've been messing around in altcoin development lately, and I've tried to clone CredenceCoin (https://github.com/XYZ1345/CredenceCoin)

I've generated my own genesis block, and I've tried to follow this tutorial: https://github.com/Peershares/Peershares/wiki/Genesis-Block-%28Starting-a-New-Blockchain-Instance%29

However, when I run my main daemon, I keep getting these message in my first running instance with random IPs:

Code:
connection timeout
trying connection 54.185.94.219:47915 lastseen=308.7hrs

Also I get that the ThreadStakeMiner is started in the log as well, but there seems to be no mining being done.

I also launched a second instance of my altcoin, and connected it to my main daemon, but all it keeps doing is repeating this:

Code:
trying connection 127.0.0.1:47916 lastseen=0.0hrs
connected 127.0.0.1:47916
send version message: version 60015, blocks=0, us=0.0.0.0:0, them=0.0.0.0:0, peer=127.0.0.1:47916
socket no message in first 60 seconds, 0 1
disconnecting node 127.0.0.1:47916

Shouldn't both of these instances be mining coins?

Thank you for your help.

I tried to do two withdrawls for stellar yesterday, and got Complete: Error. I've sent in a ticket with TicketID #485931. Hopefully this doesn't take 3 months to resolve.

They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.

That's the main part that pisses me off.  I feel trolled.

I fully expected there to be legal problems at some point, which is looking like what happened.  Who knows, though, when we get nothing but bullshit from the site itself.

exactly, I just didn't sugar coat it not saying mule did. More then pissed off at expecting the site to come back soon but having to find out the truth from another forum.

You also have to consider that they really aren't in a position to put these things out there publicly right now...especially if is it problems with the DOJ for example.

They are being very accommodating as far as letting people cash out...I was missing 485 chips from my account that were on the table when the site went down...I emailed Hdev and he credited them to my account and I was able to cash them out no problem.

Obviously I'm not happy the site is down and I would like to know exactly what's going on...but the way they've handled the cashouts makes me believe there is a legit reason they aren't just coming out and saying exactly what's going on yet.

Everyone understands with regard to legal problems which is why could have said due to legal complications and unforseen circumstances seals had to be taken down instead of what was said. Even if they said due to unforseen circumstances instead of saying will be back soon because of hardware problems it doesn't sit well.

I agree, the fact that "hardware" problems were thrown as the root cause of the problem is whats troubling. Leaving players in the dark (telling them its a hardware problem) and figuring out Micon has gone to Antigua, and is playing $3 Spin N Go's doesn't piece together well.

This entire situation is so weird. Micon in Antigua, site not up after a week (Implying its neither a hardware nor software issue), vague twitter posts. Not going to lie, the entire situation strikes me as bizarre to say the least.

What I will like to know is if this new seals software is something completey new or just adding Pinenapple and OFC to the software. Those  are small niches and might dilute the current player base.  If seals wants to really compete they need software that has player notes, hand replayer not this Briggs on HGH that they now have. So what is the mystery and why does Micon  not say more about it?

I think OFC will attract players, but I agree player notes especially are much needed.

How has the action been on this website?   I have been considering playing here for quite some time, but have not done so yet.

I am specifically interested in heads up hold em and heads up omaha games....  what do you guys think?

What limits are you looking to play? Heads up Omaha runs less often, though if you sit you'll probably get action pretty quickly. HU NL is always running at .25/.5 and higher, and if you're looking for lower, just sit at a table and you'll get action Smiley. Also HU SNG's are always running.

Ah I understand, so there are 0.9 chips waiting for me in limbo next time I deposit?

I figured since it displayed partial chips, I could also deposit partial amounts as well. Should have read the fine print!

Yup, next time you deposit deposit X.1 chips to get the other .9 Tongue

Hey Micon, I was wondering, is there any way to get some SwC stickers for my laptop? I go to a pretty tech-y school, and am a CS major, so I'm around a lot of smart people looking to make money somehow (and most know of bitcoin). I figure it would be a good conversation starter. Also, is there any way to get a hat for local games/when I go to SD casinos for $1/$2? Really appreciate it if its possible Smiley. If not I completely understand.
