Re: 2 life sentences +40 years for The Silk Road creator (PETITION FOR CLEMENCY) SIG
by

2 years life sentences just because he runs a dark website? Well, in as much as the petition might help,  many people might not want to participate because of the fear of being tagged as members and users of the website. And I guess why he was given the two years sentence is because he knew the site was being used for illegal activities but still runs it.

You ending sentences says it all! He runs a dark net website which is against the law, so he deserves and should serve his punishment!

His case is not different from that of another dark web site "Alpha...something " (I can't really remember the full name). I read in the news that the owner was caught who took his own life in the  prison.  He would have probably said that he just open the site and never sold anything and defend his right. No! he took his own life because he knew the implications of what he has down.

If the court truly found him guilty, no amount of petition can save him, he should serve his punishment.

Re: The top 5 bitcoin price prediction

Pantera Capital and Tom Lee predictions sort of sounds realistic to me and it's more vividly that it could happen. Though, I'm not hundred percent putting my bets in to but it's still possible. Who knows,  we could have had that price this late September judging from the way many investors hyped and linked bitcoin with that ETF acceptance.

Re: Does Bitcoin affect world trade?
by
GoldenLad
on 19/07/2018, 06:05:40 UTC
in my opinion , that will never happen . see, if they actually did that , it will have serious implications on major trade currencies .For instance , US dollars and american economy in general gets its strength from their currency usage in global trades . once that replaced by bitcoin or any other decentralize crypto currency , governments will lose any privilege in their economy and they won't let that happen.

Well,  you have a point but yet,  this will still happen, bitcoin will soon affect the World trade and it has started doing so too. Bitcoin is a form  of money,  a digital currency which are been used by two parties on agreement to pay for goods and services and any currency that are accepted by people as a payment method has the power to affect the World trade.  Even though the government may not like this,  they can't control it to some extent.

Re: EVERY TIME IS RIGHT TO BUY AND SELL
by

I don't think investors should buy everytime neither should they sell everytime. The market need to be monitored before putting your money into it,  remember that cryptocurrency investment is risky and needs a lot of patience. Most complains we are receiving from some investors are as a result of rushing in to buy bitcoin because they heard that some people are making money from it.  Monitor before investing .

Never, There is none. Cryptocurrency investment or business is high risky business that needs patience, calculation and focus. It's not something that you put money into and make your gains immediately. Besides, no business start seeing it profit really fast, one needs to be endurance and before they can make it in this investment and of course making use of the money you are ready to forgo.

Many people have different options and opinions, some investors go for EOS, others go for ADA, some good for Stellar etc. The many things here is that different investors have different needs and preference. So its best for one to go and make researches, read their whitepaper, their RoadMap and other necessary check up to prevent fraud activities.

I think it's to first learn how to stalk your games. It won't be easy making your first winnings but if you are and become conversant with your games and develop your own specific tactics you will be come perfect in it. Bear in mind that gambling is not an easy way to make money. Though, it is being played having fun in mind but winnings are also considered.

Re: Shops/stores are the biggest sellers of Bitcoin ??
by
GoldenLad
on 24/06/2018, 23:22:11 UTC
Nah, I doubt if it is it. There are other major things that can contribute to the low price of bitcoin and not just the sellers from shops and stores. Besides, with the way the government of the countries are banning cryptocurrency in their countries, the quantity of shop and stores owners who are using cryptocurrency as a method of payments are not that much to affect the price of cryptos.

Re: How well do cryptocurrencies fulfil the functions of money?
by

Cryptocurrency can always serve as an alternate to the local currency if the people whom are using it agree to transact with it as a form of payments. Its funny to say that even in the countries where the prohibition of cryptocurrencies, most cryptocurrency lovers are still using it to perform personal payments so far there is an agreement between the two parties.

Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market?
by

It is affecting it hugely and it's so disappointing that even investors whom have being and invested in cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin since 2013 are behaving irrational to the price of bitcoin whenever its dips massively. Most investors are yet to stand firm on their decision because their emotions keeps popping in. Implusive thinking is most times the cause of dumps in cryptocurrency.

OP, make your research regarding this place. You may find a coin worthing that amount you just stated but not worth it. Now the price of bitcoin is quite low, it affect some altcoins too anf now is the time to buy your favorite altcoins that are really worth it cause their price will be low too. Aside bitcoin, I personally invested in cryptocurrencies like Bobsrepair(BOB) and AUTO because they are coins that are been used for everyday activities and has the advantage of mooning soon.

Anything can cause the price dump, lately, i guess it's cause a lot of investors are losing hope and dumping their cryptocurrencies because of the price of botcoin going down it inexpected price dump. Or it could even be the wrong misleaded information in the media. Because are one of the top influencer of price of bitcoin as a result of unverified news.

OP seriously, you should stop causing FUD and panic to those who wants to invest and HODL bitcoin. If you really want to sell of your coins, you can gladly do so and stop putting or forcing people into your decision. And for those thinking that bitcoin will go below the price of $100; it really sounds ridiculous stating that though. Bitcoin price may go below $5k but not below $100.

Someone is trying to mess up people's brains and decisions. What's up with people creating unnecessary FUDs and panic. OP, if you have sold all your coins; good for you, if you are planning to buy again when the price is low, good luck with seeing that time when the price will be dip enough to go low for you to buy again cause if you are selling now, which means you will be buying when the price is high. Lol...seriously, you know nothing about cryptocurrency.

Re: Why today another big drop?
by
GoldenLad
on 24/06/2018, 21:10:57 UTC
Nobody may know the specific reason why it is dropping so much. Alot of user here is this forum has stated that the cause of the dip is as a result of the massive hack that happened in the Korean exchange. Why others are attributing it to the constant selling from the shop owners after purchases are been made using bitcoin. All this aren't even verified yet.

I think anything can cause this dip in the price of cryptocurrency. Why are you people always shifting the cause of bitcoin dumps or dip to some events or so. It's possible for the price of bitcoin to drop when nothing really caused it, cause it is bond to drop and dip without nothing causing it, its is always in it nature to fluctuate.

Re: BTC and PSYCHOLOGY
by

on 24/06/2018, 18:29:11 UTC
The bitter truth still remains that not everyone who wants to invest in cryptocurrency is capable or psychological stable or strong to invest on it. Most people have psychological trauma at the process of it. Most people even attempt suicide because they can't stand the pain and confusions because some of them might have borrowed to invest in it.

Edited; OP, how on earth did you feel so comfortable spreading FUD. Almost all your recent post here in this forum has been encouraging people to either sell off when this is the perfect time for them to buy more or hold on to their coins for the better days. Most investors brought their coins when the price is as high as $9k-$10k. What then is their gain if they sell low.
