Re: a word or two about windows and bitcoins
by

 Well...

 1) you can't.

 2) Microsoft already allowed anyone to do that for the last couple of years for free and they provided links to the download.  Not sure if it still works but here's an article that was recently updated.
https://pureinfotech.com/upgrade-to-windows-10-from-windows-7/

hello,

i am not so sure. so far everything that is made by people can be cracked by people.

for some things you need brute force for other you need more thinking and less muscles.

example 1:

concrete

you can crack it with hammer. that is only one way. and it stands for hard to crack object.

example 2:

bank vault

there are also options for those to be cracked. you need a bit of planing, but it is not impossible.

example 3:

btc it self was cracked it self in early beginnings.

so far everything that has been made by human was cracked by some other human.
(for btc we are not sure if it has been or not cracked).

at least i am not aware of anything human made that has not been cracked.

best regards,
G

a word or two about windows and bitcoins
by

on 28/11/2019, 20:43:40 UTC
Hello,

couple of hypothetical questions and observations.

1. hypothetically speaking if I would be able to break btc code what should i do?
- personally i would add 2-3 btc per day, and would keep low profile. of course would change them for fiat and would spend that fiat the best way i can.
now how would anyone be able to figure out that?
i know that exact number of bitcoins that has been mined is known, but since they are all over the place it is impossible to calculate how many are there at the moment.
we know how many SHOULD be there, but not and if someone has/is managed to earn free btc... Cheesy Cheesy

2. hypothetically speaking
if someone would install win 7 fully registered, and after that if that same someone would install win 10 over that windows he/she would not have any problems with win 10 activation and upgrades.

i hope that hypothetically i was able to help someone.

Thank you for taking time to read my thoughts.

best regards,
G

in parallel universe 1000 asic miners are mine
by

lets say that i have 1000 asic miners, in my garage, and i need to change pool, worker and password on all of them.

they are all on one network.

is there any piece of software that will help me to do that, or i have to go one by one and change that individually per miner?

lets say i was mining at pool x and now i want to move them to pool y.

or something like that.

i was trying to search for something similar but have no clue where to start.

thanks everyone.

that sounds strange. it should restart automatically. config error?

you can script it- use cgminer API - there is restart command.

what who where how?

i am average win user. can you explain that one for me.
like, go there and there, and type that and that....
so i do not have to learn linux in 2 days... Cheesy

i will owe you a beer. Cheesy

cgminer rPi and reset option
by
Gologuzan
on 06/11/2014, 18:27:30 UTC
hi all,
i have a question.
i am using cgminer on one of my miners, and i have a problem.
when i turn on miner it connect to internet and hash perfectly.
BUT when internet get disconnected, miner sound alarm, and when it gets internet, alarm stops but miner does not start hashing.
i need to reset it through putty and then it starts hashing normally.
so i guess that  i need some script that resets cgminer when internet comes back.
miner is using rPi.

what can i do?

thx for your time.
