I will get on board with a crypto card once it's being accepted at many retailers as a valid payment source, like Visa and Mastercard. Until regional adoption comes our way, its a waste of time and effort.

BTC, ETH and ADA!

I don't have anything valuable to add, except there are many good people in crypto that have good advice. But, there is also a lot of bad people that want to take your money or give you bad info. It will be good for you to decide who these people are, and stick with the winners.

I thought my lose was bad. I have a few Dash in a wallet on a hard drive. But, I recorded the password, or though, "I'll remember that". Well I cant find the password, and cannot transfer the Dash out. I tried password guessing for a while, then sent my mining machine on it to do a brute force on the wallet. No luck. Every once in a while, I open the wallet and try new combinations of what it could have been. Really sucks. Especially when Dash hit it's high 5-6 months back. Oh well. I feel bad for this person. But, these are all good learning lessons. Practice good backups and record your passwords somewhere safe. I have two copies of all my new accounts and passwords now.

I agree with everyone elses statement in that no one really knows when this price will hit January 2018 prices. No one knows if we've even hit the all time lows yet. For me, it's not this event that is important. It's when I'll have my perfect portfolio setup so when this event starts, I have the best possible set of coins, being BTC, ETH, or other altcoins. During these lower times is the best time to do much research and find your perfect portfolio. Good luck.

This shouldn't even be a question. Eth is a better, long-term project than Tronix ever will be, TRX is an over-hyped coin in my opinion. I am actually suprised it's still up in the top 10.

I stumbled upon this new altcoin today. Hussy @ hussy.io. The concept is bring a better payment system to the adult workings throughout the world. In doing so, Hussy is looking to eradicate human trafficking and female violence. I think this is a good use of blockchain. Though, the token price seems a bit high, if utilized in regions that are being heavily regulated, this could be a bargain long-term. What do you think?

This, of course, depends on your comfort level in the crypto world. Many time, when I've invested in an ICO, it is more for the initial quick flip. There have been a few that I've decided to hold long term, including Seele and DAOStack. And, there have been a few that really burned me. When going into an ICO, do small volumes that you are comfortable with, in case you lose. If you cannot take a lose, just don't do it. Wait for it to hit an exchange, and gauge if it's going up from hype, or a true winner. If hyped, wait for it to fall well below ICO price.

Looking forward to this good project. The blockchain version of UBER, with many beneficial advancements for the drivers and passengers. It's definately a token to watch in 2018/2019.

We will never have a world where "everyone is rich". If that statement were ever achieved, then our idea of what "rish" is would change. There will always be some one richer than us, and we will always view them as "rich", and the others will always think of themselves as "poor". We will die trying to become "these rich people". That is not what life is about. We need to make the most of our lives with what was handed to us. We can try to make more, but this should not define our life.

By far, Skrumble has been one of the most successful ICO's this year.

I agree with what everyone else has stated. You cannot blindly follow random strangers on the Internet. If you're in this, learn trading, and look for signals to buy and sell, if your trying to accumulate more from your initial investment. For me, I hold my coins (most of the time), and only buy after the dips are over, and the price if on it's way back up. I will sometimes sell some coin for profit to fund another crypto. And will only sell if I do not believe the coin will continue to be relevant.

I'll bite. When airdrop?

Got a better idea! With the time ppl spend getting bounties, why not study crypto, linux, programming, or something else in the field, then work for the companies that your were going to do the bounty for. You will gain much more long-term with this strategy. Just my two cents.

In these days, it's too easy to "check the price". Without proper self-control, we will lose everything as you are witnessing. I did the same. Bought ADA and NEO last year for next to nothing. Sold it thinking I did good. We have to learn our lessons the hard way, then move on.

For me, it was uninstalling all the price checking apps I had. I buy I token because I believe in it. I will hold it until the next milestone hits. It it goes to 0, well, it wasn't the only coin I held, and the profits from the others will outweigh the weak long-term.

Don't kick yourself. Learn from it. Invest wisely, and go do the things you used to do before playing in the market, i.e. forget about the investment for a while.

p.s. also helps if you look at the charts in a day or week view, and not in an hourly or less mode.  

I agree with many in this forum. Don't trust what other say in these forums. They are a great place to explore and learn about cryptocurrencies, but what works for one may not work for you.

The day trading you are looking to do is very hard. If you are not experienced, you will lose your money. If it were me starting again with my new knowledge, I would place all my money in a stable coin. BTC or ETH might be good, except, we are not 100% that it will not fall back down. If you see that happening, and you invested, do not panic and sell your coin. If ETH and BTC fall, most of the other coins will too. Again, if they do, and your starting to take a loss, don't sell.

Once in on a stable top 100 coin, take a small percentage, like 5-15% and pick another coin that looks like a bigger gamble, but is gaining. Trade on that coin for practice. Record your trades, and at the end of each day or week, see if your making more money than if you left it in the stable coin. Always remember, you will not win everytime. Do not let it get you down when you lose on a trade. It emotionally impacts you more on your losses.

When you are confident you can beat BTC or ETH gains, or are taking less losses, then you are ready to go big!
