And yes, I'm sure about my password in the "open wallet" part, I've try with the previous 0.9.14 CLI, and it work perfectly !

I will try the 0.12 CLI version of the wallet, perhaps more simple.

There is no Wallet.dat in Aeon files, only blockchain.bin

When I start GUI Wallet for the first time, after language selection, there is three choices :

- Create new wallet (we don't want that here)

- Restore wallet from mnemonic seed (the one who seems to work, but infact not ! I've got a new wallet adress without my balance after put my seed !! and you have to choose Testnet or Stage Net during this step)

- Open a wallet file ( from a *.keys file, but the password is not recognized when I try with my *.keys file, which work perfectly in old CLI !)

 I have update wallet since 0.9.11. I was excited by the launch of the new GUI official wallet, since the update.  
 I've start by two time to install the GUI Wallet, enter with my mnemonic seeds, try with Testnet or stagenet ... and each time, the wallet synch the blockchain ... BUT ... it's not my adress !!
 So it's not my wallet ... A new one is created each time ?!?  

What is the process to upgrade a old CLI wallet 0.9.14 to the new GUI wallet exactly ? and retreive the same wallet adress ?

I've also try to regenerate with Key file, but I have each time an error. 

And what about the decentralisation ?

If common people can't mine, only big farm will do, and what about Bitmain ? only one compagny behind more of 51% of the calculation could be an enormous problem on middle/ long terms ...

What happened to the difficulty ?

Very low during the last week (never see like this since a long time, around 4), and jump to reach 12 theses days !?!

Any particular reason ? Asic side effect?

Hi, I've try to mine BitZ with an old graphic card since a moment, I've never check my wallet since today, whare I choose to install Zcash wallet ... And it was a mistake apparently !  

only one wallet survive ... with all adress in the same one ... I export a private key, delete everything, donload again the blockchain, restore the private key ... but no coins on my wallet (with the good adress!)

What can I do more to receive my bitcoinZ now ?

Your solution was the good one, for unknown reason the blockchain.bin was corrupted, everything is working again now. (0.9.13)

In a other subject.
I use this time to change pool on my workers, and not use "aeon-pool.com" again, which is in a bad way to be upper the 50% ... Not good for the decentralization.
Decide to use "aeon.n-engine.com" pretty new, but look solid.

sounds like a corrupt blockchain, delete the file named blockchain.bin at c:\Users\your_username\AppData\Roaming\aeon then relaunch aeond.exe. it will re-sync from sratch. i don't have any explanation (several possible causes)

and yes, C:\Users\Arno\Documents\GitHub\aeon-0.9.13.0 is a rest of a local path of my windows computer.

The problem is that I don't synchronise anymore, the cmd windows close immediatly after the Error message, and I can't sync simplewallet :

Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon (http://localhost:11181). Daemon either is not started or passed wrong port. Please, make sure that daemon is running or restart the wallet with correct daemon address.

Je suis une sorte de débutant dans le secteur, bien que ça fasse maintenant un moment que je m’intéresse, un peu en dilettante, aux crypto currencies.

J'ai retrouvé des archives de Wallet.dat sur un vieux disque dur à l'époque où je m'amusais à miner pour tester un peu la chose. Et certains contiennent certainement quelques menue monnaies.
J'ai depuis changé plusieurs fois d'Os, et je les avais conservé dans un coin de hdd pour quand j'aurais un peu de temps ...

Mais je n'arrive pas à accéder à ceux ci, par exemple, j'ai un wallet.dat de Litecoin, j'ai installer la dernière version du wallet officiel, fait un synch, et changer le nouveau wallet.dat généré par une copie de mon ancien, mais celà n'a rien fait.

Quelle est la démarche pour récupérer / réactiver des anciens wallet à partir de vieux fichier wallet.dat ?

J'en aurais 4 au moins à récupérer : Dogecoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Potcoin et 42coin (ce dernier semble avoir completement disparu !)

J'avoue ne pas du tout comprendre comment fonctionne la récupération de ces alt coin.

I've encourter an issue since a week now, I try to find some workaround, but nothing work from my side. I can't synchronise to the blockchain with aeond.exe (either version 0.9.12 or 0.9.13, or even with the last 0.9.14)

The Error message is this following one :

Strange things : I haven't done any change localy, it just stop working and show me this message one days.

I don't undertand why some script try to access to a folder users name call "Arno" It's not mine for sure, looks likes some rest of a local path in the code from one dev ? It's me or it could be cleaner ?
