Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment?
We had a very interesting discussion over the weekend and people debated if it was better to invest in property or to invest in Bitcoin. The argument was as follows :
1. Most people cannot afford to buy property, so they take a home loan at a Bank. The home loan is paid back with interest and some of these loans are spread out over 20 years to make it affordable to the person who takes out the loan. So, over that 20 years the house of $100 000 will cost you say $1 000 000. {$900 000 paid in interest}
The argument is also that the property has to increase in value, with more than $900 000 for you to say that it was a good investment AND you have to sell that property to get that profit.
2. The other side of the room said it was better to rent a smaller property and to invest the "savings" into something like Bitcoin, because your profit will pay for a bigger deposit or even a whole property in a few years time.
I think paying a high interest rate to a Bank is just as bad as paying rent to a Landlord, because you are getting screwed in both these circumstances.

Well, if you'd pay $900.000 intrest on a $100.000 loan over 20 years, you should switch banks immediately
I took a loan of 150.000 over 20 years when i bought my house 10 years ago, in the end i'll have to pay about 40.000 intrest, but i can deduct this intrest from my taxes, so in the end i'll pay about 20.000 out of pocket to loan 150.000 for 20 years (this are approximate numbers).
I'm a big fan of crypto, but i'd personally rather have a house to live in than a big fat crypto wallet... I guess i'm to oldfashioned
I do realise i can get a lot more profit when i would have invested all my money into crypto, but you can't live in your wallet...
Besides, you can buy bitcoin with less amount than what you need to purchase a house but how long are you gonna wait holding your bitcoin for a good return, until then you cannot sleep on the street until that time comes. Me personally, i will go for physical investment for something tangible. All investments are risky anyway.
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?
This issue is not getting any better by time. It is getting worse and in addition to that, a lot of scam crowdsales out there. People are really becoming skeptic anymore when another ICO comes, even me the first thing that comes into my mind is, another bluff, another scam or fake project. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

It depends. Not all coins are profitable through time but there are coins or even dead coins that are revived and one day you will just be shocked seeing them in a very high price in the market. Some communities are pumping their coins if they want it to rise and some coins have uses in their platform and these kind is likely to be the one not losing its value as long as the platform is working.Your opinion

Im thinking like an micro chip implanted in our body. This system is not out of the picture because how we discover things every year, it is not impossible that in the future this things may happen and it will boom like btc.
Of course this will be realized. Only this chip will not only be for payment, it will be multi-functional. In the world, the first chips for identification of a person are considered as a priority task for implementation. From the beginning, this project had looked convincing and many were interested in this project. now all is proven and they don't lose to investing in this project. the project that is one of the most talked about today.
I agree with you, this project has collected more than 2 million dollars from the investors (it means the soft cap has been reached). The ICO is still running and will end in 30 days ahead, they still have a chance to get more fund from other investors.

Although according to the Bible, human beings are created superior than animals and any other living creatures and we are the ultimate creation of God but based on what is happening, humankind, instead of preserving the earth they are destroying it and worst is, most of us is not aware that we are destroying it.
This is a common thing happens in different countries where the government mandatory give assistance to there citizens with disability, and the sad truth is that the assistance from government is not enough.
This is the perfect time to introduce bitcoin to persons with disability by doing this they don't need to rely only on government assistance, because they are now started to earn there own money to support their needs.

Wow! Everything you said is true. This is the fact, this is real and this is happening. Well, there are countries that are literally poor. Poor in a way that they lack natural resources like in some countries in Africa wherein they lack water. Countries like this are limited and almost depending on the mercy of other countries and there are also countries that are rich. While some countries are rich in natural resources, the citizens are suffering from poverty, one of the reasons is corrupt government. Uneducated citizens.
It is true. Nowadays, you can hardly distinguish which project is legit and which one is scam. Some are too smart making their drawing projects too realistic to the point of promising the heaven and earth to their investors. What to do with them, i think if we are ready to quit in cryptocurrency then we can also avoid this scam ICOs but to stop in crypto could also mean to stop dreaming.

I can see no one from the team in this thread attending peoples queries and posting updates, i just hope the team are not ghost just like most of the scam ICOs out there. Its not easy to trust ICOs nowadays, sometimes your would spot the difference between the legit and the fake. Sometimes the fakes are acting too good to convince investors they are legit.

I personally was able to spak with Angela as one of my friends have it in their house. It is so amazing to know that AI like angela can answer almost all questions i asked her and can even perform tasks like singing ang reciting poems better than humans (singing actually was not her). I am thinking of something else. Im thinking about the future of TLT tokens, will there be future for these token? What assurance do investors have that the tokens they purchased will give them good return. Aside from being used as a mean of payment for registration in the platform and rewards for the those who would rate ISPs what else would be the use of their tokens?
