Re: Any holiday airdrop?

Is there any airdrop before this year ends?

Good way to giveaway some coins to make the everyone happy! lol

I don't think some projects will airdrop coins because it is holiday. They are in business and they don't do charity works, but I think there are some open airdrops on bounties section I also look here https://beta.bounty0x.io/ but I am not sure if there's an airdrop there.

Agree, though I believe there are projects that budget for it until the end of the day.

You can actually try here t.me/cloudbric_clb -- they just started promoting about their airdrop activity and quite easy to be honest.

why is there no telegram? no airdrop? no program? plain lottery only?
not now.. hopefully they consider soon since it is one way to get a lot of attention.

lottoshi is doing 101% anonymity like how satoshi started bitcoin. i dont think it works today. to measure trust now is to show your team is powerful. but where's the team? projects like this can instantly shut down a website after getting hundreds of eth.. What do you think?

Understandable. But look how they are trying to have similarity how the bitcoin started. Have you seen their paper yet though?

Is it possible to see the ETH address where the grand prize is being stored?

If you press the contract tab on the website, it shows this address -

https://etherscan.io/address/0x3582f0e90a11d1e021b48e70421770a063cc9e57

This address has about 1037 eth as reflected on the prize. Seems they really have the funds for the lottery winner.

I think it's accessible and I don't see any problem with it. I tried accessing it even on my mobile phone and it's mobile-friendly. I checked the reviews and whitepaper and I have read positive things so I admire its legitimacy.

Interesting..

You also invested or play?

After finally trying this, I can only say that the hard part for me was creating a wallet in MetaMask. They are using MetaMask as your wallet so you can fund your game and/or investment.

You have to download a browser extension of MetaMask first so whenever you want to play/invest, MetaMask will pop up to connect your wallet to Lottoshi website and get a fund (ETH).

Everything else is fast and easy.

Anybody wants to be associated with a good name. What satoshi has invented will not be forgotten in the history of human beings. Financial control is now given back to the people, so we can conclude that is is a smart way to get people's attention and acceptance.

Exactly. And for this new age/generation, being witty is the main game.

As I always say, use the money you afford to loose.. not risking almost all your money and just hoping you'll win. This won't hurt you lottoshi.io

This is the same with "gambling must only be for fun and never for serious matters". Must agree.

Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto?
by
GreatBug
on 14/01/2020, 18:06:50 UTC
Most people who know cryptocurrency will choose using crypto for gamble because they see that when they used crypto, they can hide their identity from the government and the banks. They can play gambling on any site which has many options for the coin to gamble, so they don't have any problem with the process verification. I think in the future, the crypto gambling industry will become popular than the fiat gambling industry because people can gamble on many gambling websites without verifying their identities. And the best is they can play gambling in their home without going to the gambling places.
I doubt you can hide from the government or banks because once you get to win a lot, at some point you'll run in to the problem of cashing out your money. There are exchanges that don't do verifications but eventually it's getting less and less as countries are starting to notice the demand for cryptocurrency exchanges.

No, I cannot hide from the government because they will be suspicious of my bank account, and they will investigate me, and ask me where the money comes. That could be true that the exchanges will apply verification to avoid the illegal use of the money, and they want to help the government to prevent the bad thing that can come later. At that time, we can get trouble if we don't follow their rules, and that will make us cannot withdraw the money.

Then just give the government the right cut if they ask through "taxes"..we can always hide with our government if we are smart but most people can't so they easily get caught and if they don't have the knowledge to hide, they should just comply with the rules to avoid problem in the future.

let's just enjoy while there are still exchanges that don't require KYC.

If we used crypto, we could hide our money from the government. We can hold the money in the crypto form, and we don't convert that coins, or if we want to convert the coin, we can use the exchanges as the store of the money. Or we can use a wallet which supports to store the stable coins.

Yes, we can use the exchanges that don't require KYC so we can hide our money from the government Grin
Gambling must be done using the cryptocurrency because this is the best way of making your actions anonymous. In this way even if a person is involved in some kind of illegal activity then that is not notified to the legal authorities. Crypto currency has no static identity and is not controlled by the government so it is easy to be used as compared to the fiat.

This thread put my thoughts in words. And with werkwerkwerk, I've seen lottoshi.io and they are exactly doing what's mentioned above.

Anyone saw this thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5216079.new#new

People are speculating...
Just checked the address and seems some players are flocking around as there's some deposits made. Look goods though.

Been following Lottoshi for a while, why do you think the crypto space doesn’t have such high interest in lotteries? Just out of curiosity
Lottery is in fact lower chances of winning and some people just took it just for fun hence trying their luck.

Another point of view. This is something to consider if anyone wants to start something like this. Lottoshi could be their use case.. but now that they are starting, it's looking good.

I can't trust this lotto things ever. Did anyone try and like it here? It seems they are always make manipulation in there. What do you think?

I think they set a budget to start this. And yes, the feedback of players would be helpful so we can hear some reviews. On the other hand, what if they want to remain as private as possible?  Huh

can someone recommend me with reasons 2/3 coins that will go 5x in the next few months?

Everyone should always try something new while they are newbies.

Try to play and invest in Lottoshi.io, I think it's good to try. It looks friendly and transparent. (not promoting, just suggesting)

Dont know why people arent really that attracted much when it comes to lottery.Try to look on the current situation of the market now when it comes to gambling field
and you cant see any lottery sites that do sustain or survive for too long due to lack of interest.People are way more attracted with dice and other casino games.
Even i do saw some lotteries that had even a minute result but still it do fail out to gain players thats why i wont be surprised if this one would end on the same fate.

My guess is people want to feel they're in control of what's happening even its all about random (or mostly).
But lottery is different - you can't choose the number you'll be (you can't pick your "lucky" number etc.) so it scares away gamblers.

Btw never heard of lottoshi so never played, can't say much.
You do talk somewhat nonsense on here in regards on picking numbers.Of course you would need to pick just like on other luck based games.
Either you like it or not then all things would be random.Main reason why i do see that lottery doesnt get much attraction is that results arent instant
and hitting or winning odds is low unlike or comparing while you do play dice then you can really tell the difference.

So you mean you're more on casinos?

We can't just generalize all gambling platforms that's why it's fun to always try. But, a friendly reminder to always bet what you afford to loose.  Grin

Re: TRUMP IMPEACHED!
by
GreatBug

Trump is impeached by the house and will then go to senate for trial.

This is a fact.

And this is good. Why? Because it shows the common people that the House Dems are corrupt. After all, the only reason they are impeaching Trump - the best President since Reagan - is because Trump is cleaning up the corruption.

Cool

No one can ever clean the corruption. Once you kick them out, there will always be someone who will do it and replace their king. It's like a gang of drug lords. Governments always think they score high when they kill or arrest the most influential drug lord, but it's not like that. Someone will always sit in the highest chair.

Is this the price? https://etherscan.io/address/0x3582f0e90a11d1e021b48e70421770a063cc9e57   $143,519?
If no, where is it stored(smart-contract)? And how much is is it worth? Hope you include where the price is stored for the sake of transparency.

how do we know that the above address is really owned by this team? when you press the contract tab on their website, it directed you to that addy. so the question here is, how true that they own that eth address?

and since we have satoshi nakamoto, they created the author of their 'thesis' as Lottoshi Nakamoto. lol

By now we should get it that they are referring to Satoshi and making this game after his creation. Don't you think?

But to be fair, it's quite alright to try. UI is friendly and easy.

This is tricky and interesting at the same time.

Website it plain and simple to understand.  Though would want to have some quick video tutorial how this works.

And prize amount is crazy!
