The demo is very nice, I like the ergonomics of your system. I hope that the business owner's side is as good as this too.

The maximum interest rate is 48% per month on your investment
Why is there a limit? What if the things go better than what allows for 48%?

Re: Understanding the importance of HODLing - CMC 2016 vs 2017
by

Great comparison of 2016 vs. 2017. But I think the difference between 2017 and 2018 would be much less.
Why? IMO both more and less are possible. At least my knowledge of the market does not suggest any particular expectation. 10 times growth a year for Bitcoin may be the least likely, but others have much more room to grow. Even for Bitcoin, I think both $900 billions and even $9 trillion are possible.

How do you plan to convert fiat customers to cryptocurrency? It does not seem like an easy job.

Re: Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork
by

IMO, for maximum profit - choose Alts in advance, hold BTC, wait for the fork, sell for Alts as soon as possible. I don't see why any active trader would do otherwise. The only thing I have doubts about is that too many people will think this way and so there won't be much profit.

If you're not an day-to-day trader - don't participate in such high volatility events, just hold what you have if it's going the way the way you expect it.

Who are going to be the advertisement partners? Do you plan to partner with established advertising agencies or to find partners yourself?
According to the whitepaper, it's both

Re: Which country will ban an ICO? What do you think?
by
Greedy_bear
on 10/10/2017, 17:46:57 UTC
The ones likely to really ban them are those that already did - totalitarian countries that have a very closed market and practice hard control over national currency. You may implement regulation that is bad and prohibitive, but outright ban is just screaming of one's incompetency.

Re: Where to set up a company for a new crypto project?

I will choose Singapore too. The corporate tax is still reasonable and the country is business friendly. Singapore  central bank set clear rules for cypto currencies, so there won’t be much surprises coming up like China and Russia.
Yeah, the best bet are countries which already set up clear regulation. Many have none or one in no clear terms, which makes future uncertain. Though EU seems a good choice too, you can hope for reasonable policy. Still, changes in regulations in the future is not a good prospect.

Re: Mining on Mobile Phone

Mining on Android\iOS exclusively doesn't seem reasonable, it will become an unneeded constraint in the end.

If it's not exclusively, then, initially having option to mine on as many plaforms as possible is nice and may attract greater public, but at some point mobile mining will become not sustainable.

Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad?
by

Existence outside of legal norms is not a good thing. The corrupt and otherwise malignant politicians are likely to have some bad impact, but they do the same to many things and still it's not a good enough reason for worldwide anarchy.

The lack of discussion on reddit or here is worrying
Here's a review trying to analyze what little information is available: https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/firstcoin-club/
The way their information is structured suggests to me that it's ponzi scheme, with all the talk about passive income and the secretiveness about any other aims.
And with 100% premine - you are just giving money straight to them, so I think they need a much more solid case to persuade people to invest, other than profit with nothing in-between.

Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed

Looks like society will never learn to avoid pyramid schemes. Even those who know - just hope to jump in, pump and dump, really being an accomplice. I recently read pyramid and ponzi are big in China now btw and the government is taking action, perhaps ICO ban was part of this. This is why regulation is needed as it seems decentralized systems just can't deal with some problems.

Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's?
by

Definetely not safe. Nothing is really safe anyway, but ICOs carry a really great risk. Also, a particular project may be safe, having good backing, but generally no one protects you in this except your own wits.

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?
by

on 29/09/2017, 12:39:56 UTC
Of course Altcoins have a future - many of them will never succeed or will fail after a while, but some will endure. The market is diverse and many ideas are valid, so it is hard to imagine what could kill all of the projects.

Re: Bitcoin is not gambling
by
Greedy_bear
on 28/09/2017, 12:03:32 UTC
This depends on the purpose and the way you do it. Trading Bitcoin means trading currency, which includes gambling, but also strategy and skill. If you have a balanced portfolio of multiple currencies and hedge the risks - you diminish the gambling element and it becomes more of a solid investment, but it's not just Bitcoin at that point. Trading only one currency is more like gambling as you maximize profits, but it is much more volatile than a balanced portfolio and so there is a greater gambling element, not really suitable for financing your lifestyle or long-term savings.
