Re: $PNUT and $FRED convicted RACCON
by

I think both PNUT and FRED will benefit from another huge rise soon.

The mcap of both small, its very possible for each mcap to reach $10bn. ie 10x(pnut) 25x(fred) at current prices.

just need another publicity boost + alt coin season to begin and lift off

doge mcap 60bn from elon publicity.

What you guys think about these coins?

Elon Musk has promoted PNUT a few times via X which made it 2000%
No mention of FRED but the volume shows alot of activity.

Future potential still?

PNUT - $1.6bn mcap https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/peanut-the-squirrel
FRED - $160mn mcap - https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/first-convicted-raccon

Good post, to make it worse DOT has bad inflation - coin printing -  something like 1,500,000,000 new added yearly.

Re: I bought $35k of SHIB through Coinbase, now my portfolio is dirty

This looks like a scam attempt to me. OP is trying to get people curious about if they potentially have dirty coins/tokens to run some stupid programme which is obviously malicious software. I assume it will steal your coins. OP is preying on naive people who might want to check if they own dirty coins. Please do not run the programme linked in the OP. There are many reports online of people connecting their wallets to supposed amlbots online & getting drained. Do not click on link in OP.

What DeathAngel said is probably correct.

MODS should delete the link in his post, otherwise somebodies curiosity is gonna lose them there crypto.

These three are my pick and are currently in my portfolio for the next bull run.

[1] Solana
[2] BNB
[3] Doge

Apart from these three I do have invested in meme coins as I believe the meme narrative will be a front runner during the next bull run.

What memecoins u recommend?

Not hearing much from LTC lately and that I think is a huge downside from this project. Potential indeed is obviously present however that won't be enough if you're aiming for bigger gains from various projects which are establishing their names on the industry. Quite not seeing light from LTC due to its previous issues.

What you think about DOT? They have numerous improvements due, with 800 smart developers working hard.

You people spending months in these circus schemes.

Why dont you get a job in Mcdonalds for just 3 days, you will earn $180, then move into any crypto you want.

Instead you want lazy behavior to pay

DOT is a good investment, a good coin. It can of course continue to rise in price as time passes but will it displace Bitcoin or Ethereum as number 1 & 2 cryptocurrencies? Almost certainly not, I see nothing to suggest thatas a likely possibility.

Can you name some reasons why its a good coin?
Genuinely interested

Recent working methods to buy BTC in the UK?
by
GreenInk
on 01/11/2024, 23:09:20 UTC
This thread is specifically about buying/sending BTC in the UK.

New Coinbase, Kraken, binance accounts always give a generic "Restricted" message.

Coinbase & kraken only seem to work for aged accounts >1 year.

Revolut seems the only option but they wont let you send more than £500 to an external wallet.(unless there are any tricks to lift the limit?)

What other methods can I use to buy Crypto in the UK, and then send to external wallet?

Please dont suggest horrible methods like Bisq, full of scammers and waste of time.

Ideally methods like Revolut but better.

Re: Antimer Custom Heatsinks vs Original - Singular Block vs Multiple pieces - S17+
by
GreenInk
on 12/03/2024, 03:25:51 UTC

They would fit perfectly, the surface of the chip is perfectly flat, and you put a perfectly plat plate on them -- you get an even contact and perfect heat transfer, so these plates do work, but if your question is "will this solve the main problem with all the 17 series?" then the answer is NO.

As each chip uses solder with the original heatsinks, it would be difficult to get the perfect quantity of solder on each chip so that the custom heatsink would sit level with them all.
However this isn't an issue as I read now the custom heat sinks use a thermal paste instead of solder. Any imperfect plane would be offset by the thermal paste.

As I explained before, the issues of bad soldering between the chips and the hashboard itself can't be solved by using this signal large heatsink, it's not very common for heatsinks to fall apart, if that was the main issue then this design would do the trick, but it's not.

It would be easier to remove a single large plate when you need to fix something underneath it, a lot easier than having to heat and remove a dozen small chips, it may provide slightly better cooling than the stock design, but it certainly isn't going to fix the major problem which is the most common, in my honest opinion the person who invented this large heatsink is a con artist, he knew that many people thought the issue was always in the heatsinks, so "pretend" that you have fixed the problem so you can make a ton of money by giving false hope to miners.

My general advice when it comes to these trash miners is -- don't buy them.

They look like alot of work to apply.

Does anybody have long term experience with using the custom singular heatsinks on the S17+?
Which is better for long term use

I fail to see how the singular custom block can sit uniformly upon every chip, whereas the original heatsinks are individually applied with solder to each chip.
What am I missing?

Before = Original Heatsinks
After = Custom Heatsinks
