Hi, I've a problem with Cuda miner.
When i want to start it, i can't because i've this message : json_rpc_call failed.
Please help me. Smiley

When I encountered this error, it is because I was running the cudaminer.exe file and not my .BAT file like I was supposed to.

@Greg121986
Thanks, 95x2 is working quite well for me, getting 195 kHash/s. Although my gpu seems to be slacking, cant get passt 195 kHash/s even with core clock 1300 and memclock of 1730. Only tdp and temps are rising fast after this. Anyway its better than before.

Double check your overclock. MSI Afterburner (and others) will not report the true clock of the GPU Core. Mine is showing 1359 on MSI Afterburner, but GPUZ shows a boost clock at 1290Mhz. The GPUZ reading is the true speed of the core. I can push the GPUZ reading to 1302Mhz but it does not last more than an hour or so before everything fails and Direct3D crashes. The differences in clock will result in the 5-7hash/s discrepency we are seeing here. I bounce between 199-203Khash/s but as I said before I sometimes dip to 150 for unknown reasons.

I think GPUZ is associated with TechPowerUp, so you should be able to find it via search.

Anyone got a good configuration for a MSI GTX 760 TwinFrozer? Im at 155-160 kHash/s, but its fluctuates alot. Sometimes it drops to 90 kHash/s for a while.

Using Win7 Prof 64 bit and the newest release x86 with -l K12x16.

Thanks in advance.

-i 0 -l K96x2. K95x2 also works pretty well. My clock speeds as read by GPUZ are 1290 core, 1705 memory. This nets me around 202Khash/s max, but I see fluctuations throughout the day as low as 150Khash/s. Power draw of my Core i7 4770K system while mining settles at 210W from the wall.

EDIT: Hmmm, just restarted my computer for the first time today, immediately opened up the cudaminer upon getting back to my desktop and noticed the same problem where the GPU utilization is only at 50% or so (getting 114Khash/s). By the time I opened this browser and typed the first sentence of this edit, the GPU load was already at 97% and my hashrate climbed to 209Khash/s. Anyone else having similar issues?

I am having the same sort of issue. I am using -i 0 flag which typically results in 99% utilization for my GTX 760. On the prior cudaminer release I was not getting more than 75%, usually at 50%. The odd thing with the 12-07 release is I get 99% utilization when I am using my PC. If I leave the PC I see the utilization jump up and down quite often. After I leave the system running untouched I return to see that my hash rate goes between 155-201.

Also, I really do not understand the varying use of kernals. Is there a list of the kernals we can try? Does this equate to optimizations available in the CUDA architecture for each generation of silicon?

nice, i was at 1280 mhz core 3005 mem with config k94x2 on 182 k/hs. With the new build core 1280 kh/s and mem 3150 i now get 190 kh/s.
Cant seem to push it more, the driver crashes. Only at 69% TDP though and just 60 degrees temp.
Got a GTX-760. No nightly drops btw.

I usually run 1280 for games but I decided to push it further. 1306 typically crashes on games pretty quickly. I've got the MSI version and it's my first piece of hardware from that company. I'm really happy with this card. I don't run heat in my apartment so with inaudible fan < 50%, I'm getting around 55C. If I run 100% fan I'm seeing mid 40C. Ambient is probably 20C or less.  Grin My last card was water cooled but that turned out to be a huge hassle so I went with an aftermarket-OEM-supplied air cooler instead.

I would really prefer to run on Fedora 20 instead of Windows 7 which is where I do most of my multi media from my PC. Anyone been able to compile cudaminer for use on Fedora 20?

Anyone using a GTX 760? I've got flags -i 0 -l k96x2 and I've managed to hit 200Khash/s give or take 2. Much better than 100 when I first started a few days ago. Any other configs with better results?

Also, is it normal for the Khash/s rate to vary? I'm hitting 201 while I am using my computer, then when I leave it at night I see dips down to 155Khash/s and everywhere in between. What gives?

Overclock is 1306Mhz core, 3375Mhz memory although I can hit 3402 but I saw no performance increase from the 3402Mhz on memory. Does cudaminer benefit from maintaining a specific ratio like the AMD cards do?

Do you have the latest nvidia drivers and the latest version of cudaminer installed? You might try to remove all flags and see if it will run. With the latest version of cudaminer, my GTX 760 will crash after its first autotune. Then I just re-run it and it works OK.

I'm working with a GTX 760 on a massive core overclock at 1306Mhz and netting 200Khash/s max. Does cudaminer have some memory/core clock ratio requirement like the AMD Cards have? I feel like I should be able to get more. The only flags I am using are -i 0 -l K96x2.
