American Bitcoin miner CleanSpark stated on April 11th that it purchased 45,000 Antminer S19 XP ASIC mining rigs for $144.9 million. According to CleanSpark, Antminer will complete all ASIC deliveries before the end of September.
The company currently produces 6.7 exahashes per second (EH/s), and will have an additional 6.3 EH/s of mining power once all new mining machines are deployed. CEO Zach Bradford stated:
The Antminer S19 XP is the most power-efficient Bitcoin mining machine available in the market today, and a key component in our continuing work to build some of the most efficient Bitcoin mining facilities in the country.
Of the 45,000 ASICs, 25,000 will be available in August, and the final 20,000 are anticipated to be running in September. CleanSpark commented that it aims to use all the purchased machines at its Bitcoin mining facility in Sandersville, Georgia, which is presently undergoing a 150-megawatt power expansion. Antminer will be the most reliable and powerful miner by the end of this year. What do you think? Correct me if am wrong please.
