I'm running ProtoShares-Qt-0.2.0 on mac OSX. If I chose to mine directly from the app, am I going to mine solo ?
I'm also interested in TheP1000 solution, but I'm not to sure what I have to do to get it working.

Agreeably so.
Truth is we are 1 to 2 days late. A lot better than waiting 8 months with other providers
Bonus hash rate should go a way to appease the masses.

1) Payments are being processed as we speak. Once the pool launched, it moves to a daily automated payment. You will be able to protect your account by locking your wallet.
2) Setting up and installing 320 ASIC machines is no easy piece of cake. We are working around to clock to get it all up. There is a whole 150 terahash to come on-line.
Bare with me for sure :-)

2) We never said it was an easy piece of cake, neither did we set a countdown on your website home page. It's all your fault if there are people complaining here.

Dude Relax!!
Mining will surely start tonight. Actually working to finish the pool front end as we speak. I will send a newsletter tonight to give you details on how to login. You can also connect your existing mining equipment to the pool to mine for free.
We will be giving additional hashing power as a bonus to existing customers. I will announce the details on the newsletter also.
