I tried to use the -clKernel 3  option (Phoenix 5.7b) for various drivers from 18.6.1 to 21 .... but on each of these drivers -clKernel 3 is ignored for all GPU (RX580 Nitro+  8GB Micron and Hynix cards)

Same here with MSI RX 580 8 Go Armor without 'clkernel 3' I get 32-33 Mh/s

I tried new PhoenixMiner 5.6a with the same settings from working 5.5c and I got this error:

https://ibb.co/jLcPZHw

"Video driver consistency error. Please go back to version 5.5c"

Driver version is 20.11.1

Does anyone have this issue?

You download a wrong version with virus your screen refer to a 5.5d version that never exist except from hacked account.

At least scan all your PC with antivirus or format all your hard drive and download the version 5.6a from PhoenixMiner post.

What are the overclock setting you guys are using for RX470/480/570/580 for KAWPOW?

1100 Mhz for GPU, 2000 Mhz for VRAM, you have to wait a little before the Mh/s stabilize.

RX580 4GB (Kawpow Hashrate) with TRM - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Otl0MwZcbuU

I switched since a week all my RX470 4GB on Ravencoin, around 13,8 Mh/s for each.

is it possible to choose with wich GPU i want to mine ? I want to use 4 gpu to mine for adress and 2 other for another adress. thx

-d, --devices=DEVLIST     Sets gpu devices to use from detected list. DEVLIST should be a comma-
separated list of device indices, e.g. -d 0,1,2,4.  If not specified, all
devices on the platform(s) will be used.  NOTE: by default the devices are ordered
by pcie bus ordering. Use --list_devices to show indices.
try like this, all commands in file USAGE.txt
1. TRM ... --device=0,1,2,3
2. TRM ... --device=4,5

Thank you mate !

I found two my old GPU's (AMD Radeon 4850 0.5GB and 6870 1GB), what kind of hashrate I would expect from these cards? And if I connect 2 GPU's to mobo, do I need the SLI bridge adapter for mining?

It simply won't work at all. You need at least 4 Gb VRAM to mine ETC and 6 Gb VRAM for ETH...

Not quite correct

for ETC you need 2.6GB VRAM currently

for ETH you need 4.1GB VRAM currently

Yes indeed.

But there not point to buy a 3Gb VRAM to mine ETC unless you already have the VGA and with a 4Gb VGA you can't mine ETH and there no 5 Gb VRAM VGA...

Right now I am mining with 3 GPUs, how do I set the config file if I only want to mine with GPU no. 2 & 3. How do write the parameter in Phoenix miner? -gpus 2,3?

-gpus 23

I am trying to restart the miner every 6 hours.
I used -timeout 10 (10 mins)
It shutdown the miner but does not restart it.
Other parameters are default.

Am I doing something wrong?

add -rmode 1

  • Updated kernels for AMD Polaris, Vega and Navi GPUs that are slightly faster and use less power than before when mining ETH. To use these updated kernels, you need to use drivers 20.5.1 or later under Win10, or 20.10.x or later under Linux

Do we need to reset -GT settings ?

Dear @PhoenixMiner,

Since some versions I had my miner stuck after a while on 2 RIGs with 6x RX470 (drivers 20.5.1 like recommended).

"Fatal Debugger..."

When I removed the options "-timeout xxxx -rmode 1" no more "Fatal Debugger ..."

is there any command line that can restart phoenix miner after 24 hours ? I used to do that in claymore but I cannot find the line in the readme file of phoenix . thanks

-timeout 1440 (for restart the miner each 24h) -rmode1 (to restart with the same settings)

please miner freinds help to set up my rig. im new in phoenix miner. my cards running slow especially rx570 giving 26mhs. it was giving 30mhs on claymore. here is bat file, what can i add and remove.
Thank you everybody.

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool stratum+tcp://daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353 -wal 3KPDtEhehBkrgKbXhTx4pZ86n8hgbNyy4E -pass x -proto 4 -stales 0 -cclock 1170 -cvddc 920 -mclock 2070,2070,2010,2070,2070,2070,2070 -mvddc 920 -mt 1 -mi 11

You need to "emulate" manually the rxboost option with the soft AMDTweakXL and put 30 to the REF parameter and maybe remove the -mt paramater if your tweak your vbios.

hi, what is the command for closing and restratting the miner program.

i tried -rmode but it restarts the pc, not the program?

use -rmode 1 to just restart your .bat with the same settings

I don't think if my command line was correct, I see some improvement in hashrate but my 4 ramaining cards never get the increase like other card got, Im using same brand of rx 570 4gb..

my command line:

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -pool2 asia1.ethermine.org:14444 -wal 0xa465*****E6F45d49ce57E************4.john1010007 -mt 2 -amd -tt 60,55,60,55,55,60,60,60,60,60,60,60 -eres 2 -wdog 1 -proto 2 -powlim -10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10 -gt 45,28,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45 -fanmin 70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70 -rmode 1 -gpureset 1

result:

main Eth speed: 327.666 MH/s, shares: 111/0/0, time: 0:22
2020.08.19:07:33:49.251: main GPUs: 1: 27.058 MH/s (11) 2: 27.933 MH/s (2) 3: 27.895 MH/s (9) 4: 25.981 MH/s (11) 5: 25.643 MH/s (Cool 6: 27.895 MH/s (7) 7: 25.973 MH/s (14) 8: 27.896 MH/s (10) 9: 27.899 MH/s (12) 10: 27.897 MH/s (13) 11: 27.892 MH/s (7) 12: 27.704 MH/s (7)

You don't nedd to put 12 times the same parameter if it's the same for your 12 cards.

What are your clocks? for the same GPU I have :
 - 30,8 Mh/s  1150/2060 @875mV with 30 in REF parameter in AMDTweakXL. (Samsung Memory)
 - 29,9 Mh/s  1110/2000 @875mV with 30 in REF parameter in AMDTweakXL. (Hynix Memory)

Hello, I have amd 470 and two 580 in rig, the problem is only "-mt 1" is working but gives low hashrate with PhoenixMiner 5.1c compare with straps in claymore. As i understand there is not more timing to choose? "-straps" is for nvidia only?

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal 0x008c26f3a2Ca8bdC11e5891e0278c9436B6F5d1E.Rig001 -mt 1 -cclock 1150,1200,1200 -mclock 2080,2100,2100 -cvddc 990,1050,1050

win10
20.4.2 drivers

You need to copy your timing with AMD Memory Tweak during a Claymore mining session, save it, close Claymore and load the saved timings before launching Phoenix Miner.

Hello everyone !

I have a rig with this error : "FATAL ERROR : Debugger Detected" just after the listing of the graphics cards.

Any idea why ?

RIG : 6x RX470 4GB, Windows 10 up to date, Adrenalin 20.2.2, PM 5.1b

I have the same error with previous miner version, same with ETH, ETC or Nicehash...
