I bought Gulden tokens at the peak, and I do not know what to do now, whether to sell or not? Can he grow up again?  Sad

Gulden has always beaten it's previous highs, it might take another year or when the PoW2 official announcement comes. The development team most likely lost the developer that did the 1.6.0 update , he was a part time developer that was very fast.

It is the same developer that did 1.6.0 that is doing PoW2 and SegSig, expect awesomeness.

Can anyone provide evidence that there is actually something being tested by selected users?

No. There is no direct evidence. But I know the majority of the testers. They told me that it is awesum.

Even Nocks ceo is buying now, because they know what’s comming.

So you could all continue with the Rijk shaming thing, or get clever and start accumulating like the pro’s. This is a lifetime opportunity to get into a top 10 coin at these prices. After the update the playingfield in cryptoland is going to be reshuffled.

Just my two pence.

Why wouldn't there be full on testing? I more interested to know how many bugs left to see how close we are to release.

Recently Malcolm has helped the owner of g-dash to sort a issue the raspberry pi 3s were having in preparation for witnessing, it took Malcolm less then 24 hours to solve the issue. Over 120 units have been sold already. https://guldenstore.eu/manual/ for instructions on setup. The development team is always assisting users who are bringing in real projects to gulden.

Based on the above I don't believe the update is far off.

NLG is staying behind in value compared to many other at least as interesting altcoins.
If BTC goes up, SAT value of NLG goes down most of the times.
Also, there is hardly any volume in NLG, so we can conclude general interest in Gulden is very low.
Which is fairly logical, as more and more people start to question the development team.
There are just some traders trading on the penny, making a small margin between bittrex and nocks.

So far there is no proof, -for over a year-, if the Gulden team really is as brilliant as people say or they themselves think they are.
They have been testing for over 12 weeks now, after a period of automated testing and small inner circle testing.
The feedback is still close to zero.
Apparently they do not possess the ethics to properly and regularly inform their community who funded them with 600+ BTC
and made them financially independent.

Their repetitive arrogant "It is ready when it is ready" reply is very annoying.
The Gulden slack is a sad over-censored environment.
They even have bots in place that remove other coin names if you should type them.
And everytime anyone asks a good or smart question they do not like, there are warnings and removals.
The slack is run in a very scary totalitarian way.

Anyway, the complete Gulden 2.0 update has to be delivered February 28th latest.
Then we will see if there is some justification in their arrogant above-and-beyond stance.

I was banned from slack for having an opinion, I plan to dump when I can get out with a profit.

Same here, got banned last night, I merely stated that gulden was at rank 204 in the "traders" part of the forum, appearantly this was a reason for being banned from slack, a little harsh is my opinion... So much for the gulden coin being owned by the Gulden community...

Don't mention other crypto related sites in the gulden slack as you can expose users to numerous scams like bitconnect.

Hey everyone, first time seeing Gulden, can anyone tell me what is it purpose, would be more than glad for your help. Thanks in advance!

Purpose is ease of use payments on the blockchain and if you patient enough they will be releasing PoW2 this year or next. Nocks payment platform is the main reason to invest in gulden. Would like to see coins like GRS and XMR on Nocks.

For other coins GuldenTrader is working on an exchange. Nocks will add USD and GBP currencies and markets soon. I estimate both GT and Nocks live end March.

The community need to cut the developers some slack, focus on the good that we know is coming soon. Nocks USD and GBP and Guldentrader exchange that will add other crypto pairings to NLG.

Pretend PoW2 and SegSig project doesn't exist and you will see Gulden is still a good coin.

2 community members bet PoW2 would be out in June - August last year... until we see some proof I am going long on the release date.

I'd like to know: Do you guys really think, that development works so much smoother in "normal" businesses?

For this I'd like to tell you a little story:
I use a CAE software solution at work which is developed by one of the market leaders in that segment. The software is under license (annual fee for usage and continous improvement of the software) and the company I work for is not a key customer to the software company.
About one year ago their customer support offered us to give beta-access to test a new feature which might prove very helpfull in our daily work. It was one of their big things to be implemented in the new software version to come and was announced years before and already delayed heavily.
The beta-testing of it showed following:
    - The new feature was hardly working and most of the time spent testing it, I was trying to get a stable run.
    - Most of the functionalities the feature offered didn't work.
    - Bugs reported to the support took weeks to get a short reply and most didn't get solved.
    - During this time the feature still got promoted by using stable live demos.
    - The demos could be reproduced in the beta version but small modifications would break them.

About 3 months ago the new version of the software was released including the new feature.
I tested it again with a 3 month trial:
    - The new feature requires an own (costly) sublicense.
    - New functionalities added but most don't work.
    - Customer support ignores requests about the feature.
    - More bugs added.
    - Some key functionalities removed.
    - We have no clue when a usable version of the feature could be available.

Can you tell me if you would rather have the Gulden developers work like this successful worldwide operating company?

The truth is no one acknowledges how good a developer MaNI is, or they do know and want to cause FUD to get in cheaper. I truly believe MaNI is the best developer in crypto but that is just my personal opinion based on what I have seen on slack and he has a answer for everything that the community ask of him. I haven't seen him not know an answer for highly technical blockchain questions.

The closed testing is going well, that's literally all that can be said.

Testers aren't allowed to give inner details Smiley But it's known that testers are people who knew and supported Gulden since 2014, so the testers probably are holding Gulden in their own wallets, which is super fine.

Since the testing started, the value of Gulden *increased* by 300% ! Do the math... the testers aren't afraid of their Gulden, there's much more BUY than SELL (they might be even buying even more, knowing that the update is awesome and going smoothly), so it's very easy and safe to say that the testing is going awesomely well Wink

When it releases, the price will rise for sure in the following days/weeks after release, it's wise to buy before that happens.

Looks like they finally dropping SegSig from this release if testing is going well, it's good the devs acted quickly when they knew it wasn't going to be possible and changed course. PoW2 is what all the users are waiting for.

SegSig has not been dropped. Devs confirmed.

There is speculation going around that once Nocks introduces GBP and USD pairings the Gulden 2.0 release will come soon after this. To finally give Gulden international status with the first real 2nd generation blockchain with PoW2 and SegSig.

Buy Real Estate with Gulden now in Delft.

https://twitter.com/maliepaardmax20/status/949306768756236292

Witness depends on how many will participate. It is capped at 1%. So putting more in one witness acount then 140k is probably useless.

Let's say I witness with 2%, I worked out 20 * 580 * 365 × 2% = +- 84000 coins a year I will earn.

Will there be a way to see how many coins in total are going to witness?

Good luck getting 3 million coins.

Gulden testing from one of the devs.

Initial basic testing went well but unearthed a few smaller things that needed attention, there was a brief break in testing over the Christmas/NY period to let people be with their families and to put out a maintenance 1.6.x release to help support with a swell in support queries from all the new users.
In the next few days more advanced/thorough testing will begin.
Basically, testing is ongoing, nothing important to report, when there is something worth announcing it will be announced.
