Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0

Dogecoin is a user-based cryptocurrency. It is supported by a strong following.
Some coins are supported by development and technology and some coins, like Dogecoin, are supported mostly by it's strong community, privacy, security, ease of transactions and use.
Dogecoin is a legitimate cryptocurrency and is here to stay as long as it has a strong community base, it's being traded and is being utilized as a true digital currency throughout the world. Just remember with cryptocurrency, it's not just about development and technology, some coins or blockchains are simply user based- Go see Redcoin!

Earning merit points by being a cry baby!
by
GumboTrader
on 14/03/2018, 17:34:10 UTC
Just recently I wrote a post complaining about how hard it is to earn merits on BitcoinTalk.org.

Well that complaining garnered me 2 merit points!

So my suggestion to you is complain about what you don't like about BitcoinTalk.org and see how many merit points you can earn just by complaining.

So my complaint is that there are too many user on here with a crap load of merit points but with little insight and not much to offer as far as content!

Okay now give me my merit points, merit points, merit points please!!!!

Oh Yea, what's your complaint about BitcoinTalk.org?

Why is it so hard to earn merits??
by
GumboTrader
on 10/03/2018, 12:45:47 UTC
⭐ Merited by The Pharmacist (1) ,btc-facebook (1)
EmbarrassedLook I have been on here long enough to know how certain things work. I may not be the best writer, but after looking around, the members with the most merits aren't that great either, I mean not in the least, neither do they provide great content or insight. So how did they get all those merits with sub-par content? The senior members say post good content and you will get merits. Hog wash!! It is almost impossible to earn merits on here... Why??? Hope this not a good ole boy's system.... (That's why I love Steemit)!!

Another question??? Who the heck determines what good content is. I provide a lot of insight and I have written some good post here but I never get a merit.

My question is why is it so hard to earn merits on bitcointalk.org. Sounds pretty counter-intuitive to me... Please help someone!!    Huh

Re: Your strategy in trading
by
GumboTrader
on 06/03/2018, 09:05:18 UTC
The best thing to do is have a strategy. You really don’t want to miss out on cryptocurrency and block-chain technology. It’s not really about investing in coins. It’s more so do you believe that cryptocurrency and block-chain are the future.

I believe it’s the future! So for the next 3 years I will invest heavily into cryptocurrency and the technology behind it and also learn, learn, learn more about it. I will then wait to see how things are shaping out after 3 years. If cryptocurrency is not moving the way I truly believe it will move (to the moon), then I will move on to more traditional assets and investments but at least I am still in the cryptocurrency game.

So my advice is at least get in the game with a couple hundred bucks or grand. I am starting with 3k and won’t miss it a lick. I mean the risk is worth it to me. I really am big on cryptocurrency and the technology behind it. It’s like falling in love with the invent of computers back in 1960 or something. So don’t be scared to invest.

Put some money in, leave it and just see what happens because the upside is to promising. Don’t be that person that knew about cryptocurrency but never invested in it, please don’t! Life will be Hell and simply miserable for you, sorry. I’d rather throw a couple hundred dollars away now into cryptocurrency and it not work out as suppose to knowing a $300 investment today could have netted me $1 million R.O.I (return on investment)in the near future. As for me, I’m all the way in!

Okay I have been on here long enough to know that there are repetitive questions asked by newbies. All you have to do, that was so well explained to me, is to do a simple google or bitcointalk search to find answers to most questions new bitcointalk users may have. Below is one question nuubs shouldn't ask.........

How do you earn merits?

Now what question'(s) do you have that you don't want nuub's to ask anymore?

To earn merits, you actually have to embrace the community and learn from it. Become part of the community. Ask the right questions and read up on multiple posts. Take note of the ranks of authors and look at how they post and take note of the content they write. Here you have to put in work. This is not going to be as easy as a creating a popular Myspace page or garnering likes on Facebook or Twitter. So get ready to work and spend some quality time here and be active. Then can you watch your merits increase, increase, increase! Kiss

Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum?
by
GumboTrader
on 20/02/2018, 13:47:13 UTC
I chose Ethereum over Bitcoin. Bitcoin has made multiple runs already and may be do for a few more in the future but here is 4 reasons I beleive Ethereum upside far exceeds Bitcoin.

1. Ethereum transaction speed are faster and cheaper
2. Ethereum has better technology and is scalable
3. You need Ethereum to purchase most new altcoins.
4. Compared to Bitcoin price, Ethereum price ceiling is much higher for better return on investment than Bitcoin.

I successfully sent some cryptocurrency the other day. Then when I looked over my transaction, it had a gas amount or charge. What is this gas amount? I never heard of it and I don't even know what it is. Now is there anyway to avoid it or at the very least minimize it's amount? Please can someone give me some advice and steer me in the right direction!

Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro?
by
GumboTrader
on 15/02/2018, 21:42:38 UTC
Reading the white papers is like reading a business plan. So the short answer is NO! I may breeze through it. That's about it though. Those things are so tedious, meticulous and just down right boring. I prefer going to the website of the project and reading what they have there and watching what ever video they have available as well. I also like looking at their development team, their roadmap and their sponsors too. If they can't win me over that way, their white papers won't either.

Why should I invest is Cardano
by
GumboTrader
on 14/02/2018, 21:12:14 UTC
I am ready to make my first big cryptocurrency purchase of 2018. I really like Cardano (ADA) because of it's ranking
on coinmarketcap.com and it's fairly cheap price. However, I see that it's a non-mineable coin. I don't know if that is good or bad.

All I want to know. Is Cardano a good altcoin to invest in
in 2018?

by
GumboTrader
on 13/02/2018, 16:34:17 UTC
I have been hearing about a lot of fraudulent altcoins out there.
Personally have been eyeing Dogecoin for a while to purchase as an altcoin. However,
I believe I came across an article that called them fake. The thing is the article did not
go into any further details.

All I want to know is if Dogecoin is a legitimate investment into altcoins? Help me
Crypto-world, what do you think?

What is staking and can you make money in your sleep from it?
by
GumboTrader
on 13/02/2018, 15:33:08 UTC
I here a lot about making passive income with altcoins. One of the ways to make that passive
income is through a process known as staking. It is clear that I am new to the cryptocurrency world
and this is the first time I ever heard of the term staking.

My questions is, what is Staking?
How can you earn money from it using altcoins?

Re: What altcoin will make us rich?
by
GumboTrader
on 10/02/2018, 11:35:16 UTC
Personally, I will focus on infrastructure altcoins as opposed to Daap's or app based altcoins. Try and focus on practical application altcoins. Altcoins that you see beneficial to everyday life and usefulness. If you can try and find a mentor online or on youtube somewhere that has been in the cryptocurrency market for a while and follow them to see what they and there followers are doing or buying or are interested in. The last resort would be to just invest in one of the top 30 altcoins on coinmarket.com, which to me is the safest way to go because they are already established altcoins plus you can find some there at a bargain.
