I thought they maybe waited until the hardfork is done, but it's been already a few days since that as well

hi ive got an old einsteiunium wallet from 2014 - found 1000 einsteinium? how can i access them and sell them? it seems like my wallet wont sync
I just went through this myself,
Your old wallet won't sync because there was recently a hard fork and they need to be moved to the new chain.
*wallet.dat can be found somewhere along the lines of C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Einsteinium if your using windows*
1. Make a copy of your wallet.dat file from the old wallet(this holds your balance)****DO NOT OVERWRITE IT*****
2. Download the new wallet from the website
3. Replace the wallet.dat from the new install with the wallet.dat that has your coins.

Hello everyone, I have coins on an offline wallet from a while back (v0.8.7.1-unk-beta) last block is 87692.... are these still recoverable?
Do you have the private keys?
I believe I do, Just don't know how to find the info on the harddrive, any Help is appreciated
I have to option to Sign/Verify a message with the address the coins are in, would the string of characters for either of those be the private key? or do I have to find a file on the harddrive somewhere that holds the pub and private?
The private key is just alphanumberic text. Like you said - string of characters
I managed to find my way to the wallet.dat file on the old harddrive, and I downloaded the latest excaliber wallet... all that is left to do now is copy the wallet.dat from the old location and replace the wallet.dat in the new location? Anything else I should do to ensure success in the transfer?

Much has happened, and this thread is quiet; but B.N. and I and others have been involved in P2P trading for three years now.
Thats awesome, I still have the silver I purchased from B.N. on the un-ex, and I think I may have an UN-EX:DVC floating around somewhere too if that's still a thing
After the 2013 btc bubble, I managed to lose ~97% of my crypto holdings from my poor trading and exchanges going belly up, happy to say that I managed to trade my way back to a modest 80% of original BTC holdings. Excellent but rough learning experience!
