Hypes price is dying buy I see you have those badges to try to get people to buy more hype. Why is the price dying though if there is burning going on? How does freezing work?

We did not release those badges to 'try to get people to buy more hype'. Nope.
We released the NFT badges as part of the community rewards program to reward community members who have been with us for a long time.

Good way to get people top buy HYPE. I like that the cars will give you bonuses in the games but where are the games? I cannot buy something for games that are yet to exist. The token has been out for a few months so what is going on with the other development. The token desperately needs some changes and needs to have a reason to be and a way to be used more than currently. I think that will stop the price drop.

To begin with, HYPE NFT badges have been created as part of the community rewards program in which it provides incentives to 'active' users within the HYPE community. By staying 'active' here, we are referring to the activities of burning (transferring) and freezing (voting) with HYPE tokens.
HYPE Token is a consensus-driven inflationary + deflationary token, allowing users to vote and collectively control the circulating supply of the token. Users vote every month & change the burning % and daily freezing rewards %.
HYPE tokens are burned automatically whenever a user sends HYPE tokens to another user. Currently, it is set as 8.7% of the total transferred amounts. This is the deflationary feature.
HYPE users can receive daily rewards for 'freezing' their HYPE tokens through the dapp (dapp.hypetoken.io). Users are required to freeze their tokens to increase their voting weights & thus, be able to vote. This is the inflationary feature.
HYPE NFT badges were created (ranging from levels 1 to 8 ) to reward users who have frozen & burned specific amounts (Requirements are outlined here: https://hypetoken.io/hype-nft-badge-rewards/).
All badges are limited (Levels 1-4 have 20 each and Levels 5-8 have 10 each) and are served on a first-come-first-serve basis. We do not sell or trade these badges. To answer your question regarding games, yes. We do have some plans for game developments but it is not the core part of the project.

WHAT IS HYPE TOKEN? (ANN THREAD)
We have created a rewards program whereby those who have burned and frozen certain amounts of HYPE tokens can claim a set of super rare NFT badges.
What are NFT badges?
NFT stands for Non-fungible Tokens which are commonly created under the ERC-721 token standard. Many blockchain projects, particularly games (e.g. Cryptokitties) use this standard to publish cards, badges, tickets, and game items on the blockchain.
Why NFT badges as rewards?
We wanted to reward HYPE community members with something which is symbolic and useful at the same time. NFT badges we have created are a unique set of LEVEL-based badges which have unique designs for each individual badges.

What types of badges are available?
There is a total of 8 levels you can reach with the rewards program.
LEVEL 1 (HYPE Beginner) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 100 HYPE burned & 10 days since first joined & 1,000+ frozen HYPE
LEVEL 2 (HYPE Beginner II) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 1,000 HYPE burned & 15 days since first joined & 5,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 3 (HYPER) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 2,500 HYPE burned & 20 days since first joined & 10,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 4 (HYPER II) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 5,000 HYPE burned & 30 days since first joined & 15,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 5 (HYPER III) (Limited to 10 badges)
Requirements: 25,000 HYPE burned & 35 days since first joined & 50,000+ active frozen HYPE

Requirements: 250,000 HYPE burned & 60 days since joined & 1,000,000+ active frozen HYPE

Why are they so limited? What happens once they have all been claimed?
These will be the first edition of the NFT badge rewards. It will be the only batch which has a limited supply & a rarity score of 5/5 stars. Once they have all been claimed by users, the second edition will be launched which will have different requirements, more supply and a lower rarity score. It is recommended that you collect the first edition badges as soon as possible.
What can I do with these badges?
These NFT badges can be collected and traded on OpenSea.io (a marketplace for NFT cards/badges/tickets/artworks, etc.). We will also be integrating these badges into our future blockchain-based games & these badges will serve to help you boost your abilities within the games. There will also be partnerships with other NFT-based games for you to forge these badges with other badges/cards to create new items or upgrade your existing ones within the games.
How much are these badges traded for?
Theres no intrinsic value for these badges as of yet. It is up to the users who trade them on marketplaces such as OpenSea.io, who will be marking a value on these badges. Usually, the more rare and limited NFT cards/badges are, the more trading value it holds. However, it is best advised that you collect and keep these badges as we have many new exciting partnerships and games to be launched where you can use these badges as an advantage.
How were the badges designed?
We have used an artificial intelligence to design each and every badge to have its own unique digital artwork stamped on them. Each badge is unique in its own and it should be treated as a computer-generated artwork (to be more specific, we used mathematical equations to generate them: computational artwork based on histograms of iterated chaotic functions).

How do I claim my badge?
First, make sure you meet the levels requirements. For example, to claim a LEVEL 1 badge, you need to have burned at least 100 HYPE from your address + have over 1,000 actively frozen HYPE tokens + your first HYPE transaction should be more than 10 days old.

왜 토큰을 얼리죠?
매달 개최되는 커뮤니티 토표에 참여 하시려면 Voting Weight (VW) - 투표 영향력이 있어야 합니다. Voting Weight는 토큰을 얼려야만 증가 가능합니다.
토큰을 얼리고 Voting Weight를 증가하면 그에 따르는 인센티브가 주어집니다. 이는 Freezing Rewards (프리징 리워드)라고 불립니다. 프리징 리워드는 토큰을 얼린 순간 부터 24시간 마다 발행됩니다. 따라서 매일매일 프리징하신 총 토큰 수의 x%를 리워드로 받으실수 있습니다. x%는 매달 커뮤니티 투표를 통해 지정됩니다.
Melting Period: 토큰을 언프리징하시고 녹이실때 특정 기간을 기다리셔야 합니다. (현재 48 시간). 따라서 토큰을 언프리징 하시면 (그 동안 받으셨던 리워드 + 언프리징 하신 수)를 48시간 후에야 지갑에 다시 방출하실 수 있습니다. 이 기간은 석달마다 한 번씩 커뮤니티 투표를 통해 지정됩니다.
투표: HYPE 토큰의 버닝 %와 매일 받으실 수 있는 프리징 리워드 % 그리고 멜팅 기간을 투표하실 수 있습니다. 버닝 & 프리징 리워드는 매달 투표가 진행되며 멜팅 기간은 석달에 한 번씩 투표가 진행됩니다.

check whether the crowd effectively control the inflation and deflation of tokenomy without central governance it's cool. But do developers have the tools to stop the experiment from being unproductive?
