Take caution with this coin.
From what I gather this coin is an idea that was stolen directly from the horses mouth. Someone brought it up in confidence and it got snatched. Exact coin name, specs, everything.. It's impossible to know what's true in crypto but i honestly believe this is a stolen idea. That doesn't mean they can't pull it off.. but it says a bit about the dev's character.

OK, some of you guys have sent your FOOD to Alcurex wallets. I too registered there, but the confirmation email had this warning attached from my email service:

Are these Alcurex people legit or is it just a virus site? Anyone know anything?

Does anyone know any nodes for http://altexplorer.info/chains/CENT/block_crawler.php?
Any working nodes in general would also help from a wallet that synchs to altexplorer and Cryptsy.
It's pretty much impossible to know which nodes are in a fork and which aren't. If I try synching without nodes I'll always end up in a fork.

The 10.2 and 10.1 wallets don't work. As soon as I get a connection it crashes. The 0.10 wallet works, but won't fully synchronize.

I moved away everything except the wallet.dat and as soon as the new client gets a connection it crashes. It works at first, but when it gets a connection it crashes soon after.

I'm not just an ixCoin supporter, I am iXcoin.
IXCoin is doing great. Incredibly stabbed even as most alts crash and burn iXcoin barely moves down and is usually up. It's now at $.12 and it's being heavily accumulated by smart money in my opinion.
That said, it should move up very sharply very soon - within 60 days.
We've got some major updates to the code coming and some news releases so expect it to move soon, like next week when the first PR comes out.
Buy $100 worth if you haven't and just hold on, don't sell until at least $10. That's the price I'm willing to sell some of my xCoins.

Wait. Is the 2% premine of the total amount of coins that will be mined? Because if I counted correctly, that would amount to over $1000000. Sounds like a scam. And even if I misplaced a zero (which I believe I didn't) it would still be 100k or 10k USD, which is still ridiculous for "bounties and development".
Lately the entire cryptocommunity has been disappointing me but this is even worse than DOGE. I really hope that the 2% isn't from the total amount.

I can just contact shakezula or Hazard or any of the tens of people offering to create a generic coin with modified values (such as this one) for under 100 dollars.
I am so done with this. The entire community has turned into a pile of scammers and idiots who get scammed. Those same idiots sometimes get profits while riding on the pumpwave and then think they made a good investment. Altcoins could have been so much more. Hopefully all the scams and novelty coins are done and dumped in a few months as I suspect. There's only so many times you can scam noobs. Those noobs grow up to realize which coins are scams and which aren't. And the community isn't growing much anymore since china left.
You should all take a long look at yourself and think which one you are. The scammer or the idiot getting scammed, because those are the only two options with this coin. Imho both are equally bad.

TIX started promising and that's why I was supporting it, but learned later that it was a complete scam and the devs flashmined the first 5 hours of it.
TIX is even worse of a scam than LOT, because it tried to hide how much the devs actually made. LOT is still a scam, though.

My wallet isn't working anymore. Whenever is gets within the 5k latest blocks it just goes really slow and unresponsive, like my cpu wasn't good enough. I have 8 cores and it's only using one. Could this be the problem? Is there any way I can fix it and make it use more cores?

If I downloaded the 10.0 wallet I can now transfer say 2 billion cent from Cryptsy all at once and it should earn interest with no issues by the 8th? Is this right? No worries about doing 100 fifty million separate transfers?

The money can't be in lumps of 100M or above, though. The preferred is 50M. If they're in over transactions of over 100M they won't generate stake.
