Why are they reporting device settings? Will the mining be with the browser? Has this setting influenced the hash power?

Hi luksbit, thanks for visiting us again!

HADRON mining will be in-browser right in our https://hadron.cloud/dashboard

Mining rate will be determined by your CPU, GPU (optional), and network connection.

Alpha mining caps will be determined by Proof of Caring (see dashboard).  luksbit, you were one of our earliest supporters on page 2, we'd love to see you in the alpha mining.

Everyone, thanks for your patience as we review your applications, we will respond to each one in order.

What is the maximum number of coins there is going to be and can you use asics with this thru browser

Hi yoyyohg, we're going to discuss tokenomics after we launch on January 15th.  The coins mined during the first runs will be special Alpha Patron coins of much higher value.

As for ASICs, the short answer is no ASIC exists for mining HADRON coins.

Long answer: While not technically an ASIC, an Nvidia Volta most probably outperforms any commercially available processor for compatible deep learning computations.  If you want to try a Volta for Hadron alpha mining, please tell us how it does!  (And then send it to us!)

If someone somehow develops their own efficient ASIC for deep learning computations (one that is somehow better than an Nvidia Volta), well, it's time for a bigger piggy bank, because mining is just one of the countless things you could do with it.  I have a saying, though: never bet against Jen-Hsun Huang.

At that point, the inventor should just sell their ASIC company for billions of dollars to Nvidia, AMD or Tesla, or dominate the trillion-dollar future world of AI.

Ok, geek-out done.

I just watched Cliff tonight at a Palo Alto meetup. By far the most impressive of the speakers.

I'd like to be involved in Alpha.

Windows 10 operating system with i5 Skylake CPU and 1080ti GPU; iOS 11; Chrome Browse

Hey! This is Cliff, thank you, the other two projects were great, too, and the Cooley/SEC attorneys I thought had great perspectives.  Glenn is a class act.

There is an amazing team that makes Hadron possible and I'm just one of the chess pieces.  One day, hopefully you all can meet Michael, Evan, CJ, everyone.  Thank you for your inspirational post.  Thanks also for going to the meet and posting!

We'll probably be at the WCEF (World Crypto Economic Forum) on the Jan 15th, but that will be a much shorter talk.  I have been told that we also are launching our product that night, so that will be interesting.

i am watching this thread with more and more confidence this can be a cool crypto asset. will see but i have a good feeling about it.

Thanks, murgut, we appreciate your support!  The best way to try is to mine with us.  Basically, any modern smartphone or computer with a web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari can mine HADRON coins.  You can see the steps to get started here on the OP: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2142232.msg21426252#msg21426252

I would like to participate in the Hadron Mining Alpha.
