Re: After 6,000$ When will have 6,500
by

When do you expect to get 6,500$ price

I hope that it will be reached this year but I don't want to expect too much. But as I expect $6,500 will be possible to be seen on the mid year of 2018. Maybe on June 2018 but still we know that the wave of bitcoin's fluctuation is very great in movement and it's very possible to be seen anytime. I'm focusing more with long term goals and I want to see bitcoin at what everyone's has been expecting and that is $10,000.

We've seen it breaking its $6000 barrier so it's not far to happen we reach the $6500 before this year ends. Bitcoin price is truly unoredictable and all we can do is just hold and ride in waves where will bitcoin take us and one thing is for sure as day passes, bitcoin will go to the moon.

Re: Where do you hold your coins?
by

on 27/10/2017, 05:54:56 UTC
So i'm new to cryptocurrency, actually just started 2 days ago, was reading about cryptocurrency, and stumbled upon Neblio and decided to go for it.

Now i'm holding about 600$ worth of Neblio on Cryptopia, which i'm fairly certain it will reach at least 2x, but aiming at x4 early next year to be honest.

Anyway, i want to sit on the Neblio for a while, but i don't want to have it hostage on an Exchange, so what are the best and safer solutions, Desktop and Online to hold he currency?

If you are willing to keep long time please keep in desktop or nano. Other if you keep very short time keep it in exchanges with 2fac .  Otherwise you can use dedicated wallets.

Me myself keeping in exchanges

For me even you hold it for short term don't store your coins in exchanges like if something will happen in their site you can't blame all the mistakes to them, at the first place they didn't tell you to store your coins there.
Just always store your coins where you hold private keys, it's better be safe than end up to nothing.

Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin?
by

on 26/10/2017, 12:58:10 UTC
I do not think bitcoin should be introduced to children, because children still have to understand the lessons for their age in their school. If the kids have an interest in the financial system and banking I think the kid has the potential to be introduced to bitcoin.

Yes and it's too complicated for their young minds to teach bitcoin, let them enjoy their childhood as this will happen only just once. Just wait the right time to introduce bitcoin and let them take this little by little.

I think you should wish you never bought BAD/TRASH ALTCOIN. If you buy some good coin like xrp, str, strat .... on last year. you maybe become millionaire now

Well maybe OP had a hard time choosing coins that's why he ended up landing to these coins. If he only will trust again and buy again some altcoins that are really promising then it will be all be better.

Never had a problem with  myetherwallet  although I also like Waves Wallet, but that does not support ERC20 coins.

Yeah of course it's really different as they have different platform.

Just use wallet that let's you hold private keys so all your coins will be safe and secured. Or if you're holding huge coins you can use hardware wallet like ledger nano.

Re: Patience and Holding
by

Patience and holding are likely twins like they can't go further without each other.
If you're holding and you don't have patience you may tend to sell even without thinking that you're not profiting and end up to nothing. So these two are all we need to survive here in this kind of digital world.

Re: Bitcoin from $6000 to $5500
by
Haesoo
on 26/10/2017, 10:32:40 UTC
It looks like the user learned from last July experience, when the user panicked and sold a lot of bitcoin so as to make the price drop, but now the user better understand that there is no big impact despite there segwit, I'm sure the price will not drop below $ 5000.

It's true my brother, unlike in August 1 hard fork, people now are more calmer and more relax while waiting the hard fork to be done. The panic selling are lessen, well maybe they give bitcoin their full trust to this. The $5500 we experience is just a correction and nothing to worry.

Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!
by
Haesoo
on 26/10/2017, 10:12:49 UTC
They just want to create fear in the mind of bitcoin holder. So that, they will panic and sell their bitcoin. So they keep on saying bitcoin is dead.
Yeah it is true that want to make the bitcoin price of the bitcoin will get the more price and the income of the bitcoin will be more than this, the bitcoin price is increasing more and more. It is being more and more famous but still some of the people are spreading the bad news about the bitcoin to make the uneasy and the fearful currency for the people who are using the bitcoin for the people.

yes they can influence the people. So they start selling it. It will actually benefit us all. If we invest when the price is low, and sell it when the price is high.

We could actually make a good amount of profit. Thats why bitcoin is best.

The fact that these people are just making fuds and they troll so they can make people go panic and sell their bitcoin in low price. They don't hate bitcoin  they really love bitcoin as like as we do, these people are greedy to have a lot of bitcoin.

HODL! I hope you haven't sold it yet OP. It's ETH you're talking about!

Well of course, like having that amount of eth will definitely a good catch.
Just HODL it and never misses the chance as eth underwent a hard fork and many are speculating that the price will increase in no time.

Re: BITCOIN mining advice?
by
Haesoo
on 19/10/2017, 06:41:23 UTC
My advice is try a proof of stake mining coin for your start that will save you money on electricity and often times the whole mining setup with gear and space is just more manageable with pos coins.

Yeah you should also consider that too. There are a lot of airdrop coins that's POS/POW, try to join some and see if its profitable or not and at some point you experience mining.
But personally, mining is just for rich people who will afford all the expenses behind it like the electric bills and other stuffs., well the fact that mining rig is too pricey.

Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins?
by
Haesoo
on 19/10/2017, 05:49:32 UTC
with only 0.1 it is a low number if you want high profits quickly, the bigger you invest the more profits you will get. it is a provision in the game of investment.

Well OP is just new here so 0.1btc is I think reasonable to start up then he can just add some when he already profited.
But of course, he shouldn't expect high profit with just amount but still it will be the safest way here to start the game.
Just do trading with undervalued coin and have patience for it to get pump. It's not a easy road to take but surely will be rewarding.
Yes in very beginning it is important to take start from a little amount, because at that stage we do not have any knowledge and experience about gambling, therefore there are more chances to lose everything. I think it is important to get experience first and after that should invest a big amount in gambling, but still we should not exceed the limit from where we do not afford the amount of money to lose.

So just invest what you think you can afford in everything. Don't invest quickly in a thing that you're not used to do o@r you'll just end up to nothing. In everything you do, just think first what will be the consequences that might happen so you'll know what actions are gonna be apply.

I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

If you want a monthly income just do trading but it's quite risky and don't expect too much profit as it all depends on the coins you gonna trade. Just do some readings first, feed yourself all the knowledge that you think you'll need here.

Re: Bitcoin GOLD - A well thought Scam?
by
Haesoo
on 18/10/2017, 14:32:42 UTC
Scam or not does not matter to me. I will take the free coins from the fork and dump them for good old BTC.

Free money is free money for me. No need to worry.

Yes, so many people want to do the same thing. You are not alone, after the hard fork, we will buy alts again, altcoins will go to moon again.

It is bad to buy BTC now because people think that they will get free BTG.  But if you buy BTC at $5800 and after hard fork it dropped to $5000 then you lose... unless btg is priced at $800 a BTG

My thoughts too. I was toying with the idea of buying more BTC to get more BTG but, like you said, BTC could drop soon after the fork and if BTG is worthless then I could lose a big heap of cash.

Well these are all speculations and its hard to conclude that idea.
Yes bitcoin might went small correction after the hard fork and this is just all usual as a currency so take that chance to buy. However, I believe that BTG will be still like of bitcoin cash as this is also an airdrop and will have the same fate.

I think if the president will start promoting bitcoin it will be definitely an effective way as president is the most influential person in a country. Many people will start to get curious what's this all about. Then bitcoin will be talk of the town and everything will just follow.

Re: Trading dilemma
by

on 10/10/2017, 03:34:59 UTC
But in fact, you are not losing money, because the price of bitcoin is increasing, and your value of those tokens is increasing in USD too, only that your btc balance is obviously decreasing. It means that btc is more strongest than digibyte, that is why most altcoins are in red right now, because alts are following btc pattern, but they can not follow it on btc price, because it is moving too quickly and a lot of holders are dumping their coins to buy more btc.

Yes it's true. Many now are have regrets for exchanging their bitcoin to alts as now bitcoin's price  is now in uptrend while leaving alts behind it. Many are buying now bitcoin so they can ride the train but thinking that the price now is not the best time to buy. But since they're all eager they still buy even though they know that they can only profit a little to this.

Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins
by
Haesoo
on 10/10/2017, 02:52:23 UTC
I also decided to just hold the coins as I can not control my emotions. I've been studying trading strategies for a long time, but in practice I always get only a loss of money Angry

yeah it happens to me too and I can only hold and wait for prices to rise again, trading is sometimes sucks but I try to be patient and control my emotions

If you think and feel that trading is not your cup tea then leave it. Forcing yourself to things that you really don't have patience and don't like to do is just a waste of time. Just hold your coins then wait for the profit. But you should also accept bthe fact that in holding the return of investment is quite slow. So don't expect.

hahaha sorry your statement makes me laugh, precisely this is the right time to take profit after buying bitcoin at cheap price last month

OP definitely regretting right now because we be able to pass $4800 and bitcoi:s price is simultaneously increasing. It's time to take profit as bitcoin near to launch its new ATH and leaving altcoins to dust.

by

I like them both but I always use bittrex and polo as my other option.
And bittrex have a lot of coins to choose from and many traders are using this so the placing of orders are huge. So far I'm more comfortable using this and didn't encounter any problems.

Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money
by
Haesoo
on 04/10/2017, 01:19:25 UTC
I am totally agreed that losing was always part of successfully trading, And most often happened why some of the trader losses their money it is because they have feared. Which is not good actually as a trader, we should ready and willing to face what we can afford to lose in. The more we fail is the more we headed to success. Smiley

When we started trading we also accept all the consequences behind it so as losing money is in the package. As traders, we tend to loss some that's why we're also a risk taker because we didn't really know if the coin we're buying and gonna hold will give us  a sure profit. If you don't want to lose then don't trade. Simply as that.

Re: Do you think the price will DROP MORE?
by
Haesoo
on 04/10/2017, 00:21:00 UTC
I think otherwise. bitcoin prices are declining, but, now can be seen that the price rises back and headed at a price of $ 5000. there may be times when bitcoin decreases, but there will be a flashback of higher price increases. I believe that.

Yes it can as fluctuations are just around in the corner so we can expect it anytime.
But when it will be having dips for sure the lowest it can be is as low as $3900 and it will set back again to touch the $5000. We all see how bitcoin cling to $4000 so we can expect more rise to it.
