Actually Bitcoin price just hit its recent low which is $43000 and pumped once again to $47000 .. Yes we are in a temporary bearish momentum but as you can see on its TA, Bitcoin is gaining its momentum once again and preparing for a jump price.

Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin?

Hello everyone!  Grin
I am a starting player at the BTCitcoin trading world- haven't bought any yet.
Just a young man looking for investing his money from high school, and I don't know where to start! Smiley

How did you start trading in bitcoin?
How could I do that too?
Do you have any tips for begginers?

 Huh

Happy 2021 -Tzutzik

First of all before you jump in on buying/trading Bitcoin, you should understand the technology behind the bitcoin first which is blockchain, and then how cryptocurrency trading works, what are coins/tokens to look forward and to avoid, where to store your crypto and last but not the list is to choose the right cryptocurrency exchange. You might wanna see this Bitcoin for Beginners guide from cointelegraph.

Not everyone knows whats behind bitcoin and what technology it has, most of the investors nowadays are just into profits and once the bubble pops they will surely cry themselves... Most of them put their eggs in one basket as well, even though Bitcoin bubble doesnt seem to pop, chances are still there but using a good exchange will work specially the one with loads of offers

Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters?

I don't keep my funds on any exchange if I do so, it's very minimal and not that much of amount that I can't avail to lose. I have read somewhere this strategy of hiding your files and folders, although it's not that of a security but it's another way to simply add and keep your important files that contains your keys (if you are keeping it on a file format).

A backup is a must so don't depend mostly on your single file that keeps your PKs or the written format that you make. Always create a backup or duplicate or even more where you can keep it in a very safe storage that can't be find out by others.

It actually would be wise to just put your funds on a wallet or ledger which ofcourse is also a safe one. I do prefer trezor and exodus, I usually put my assets there specially my bitcoins when I am not trading it. Its much safer to do that way ifyou arent really into trading but still, choose the right exchange

Re: If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K

If that will ever happen, It won't be the work of famous figures in the industry but rather because of the institutional investors slowly getting their investments right with Bitcoin. After the Tesla news, I believe that it attracted a lot of institutions to do the same and I believe that's going to be a big jump for Bitcoin. Bank of NY Mellon last week even said it formed a new unit to help clients own and trade digital assets.

I have been watching BTC on KuCoin and I've seen it hit the ATH just recently, Bitcoin was consolidating under the $38,000 resistance area for a prolonged period. This presented a risk to the short-term bull cycle of Bitcoin. Resistance is quite strong on $49900 though so I advise everyone to be really careful trading.

Im hoping that Bitcoin will be over $100,000 for this year, it keeps on growing and growing as more institutions are coming in and investing on it which means that it will make price pump even more. We just need to hope that the bubble wont snap just like what happened years ago, or else all of us specially big companies will be doomed in an instant even tho we can just hodl and wait for the pump again for years.

Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin?

Its either ETH or LTC. These two are the best alternative for BTC. These two are huge in every way possible right now especially ETH. LTC is having a fallback right now but its just temporary as far as I know. Get either one for huge profit in the long run.

I will definitely agree with Ethereum, its like the wife of bitcoin.. It recently just hit its new ATH too which is over $1700! currently having its correction so its a good time to bag some of it.  Litecoin is still unpredictable one although its a good investment too

Its just not about the security tho as you may know this market can easily be hacked specially centralized cryptocurrency exchanges even the big ones wasnt able to avoid such hack like Binance, what we need is that it has security + assurance of getting our assets back

Re: Selling LTC for XRP?

Thank you for replying! To be clear, I mean to sell LTC (€51) for XRP (€0,21). Both of them are going to grow in a bull market, I hope, but which of the two has the better cards for this grow?

It will obviously gonna be LTC when it comes to growth, XRP is facing a lawsuit right now which I think can make you broke or rich, it depends on the result of the lawsuit so its like 50-50

Next to your starting capital It is generally risk/reward. The lesser the risk the bigger your start capital needs to be.
Investing in a casino bankroll is maybe a thing to consider.

Investing will always be risky no matter how small or big your investment is but imo, the bigger your investment or capital is, the higher risk that you can have with it.

Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin?
by
HakaseMarui
on 01/02/2021, 03:42:58 UTC
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?

The best decision on investing your 100 dollars is to just invest it on both Ethereum and Bitcoin, you can do 50-50 when you invest so it wont be much of an Impact when a bubble pops on one of the two which is not that impossible to happen coz "history repeats itself" imo. Both are big projects anyways so it will surely give you a good profit in no time specially right now that its volatility is fast and huge.

Just dont forget to buy when there's a correction, do not buy when its hitting a pump, its pump always has a correction to follow which is a good timing to buy and fill your bags. As you can see BTC price recently goes down to 28k and pump to its new ATH and currently at 33k..
While ETH price also pump to its new ATH from its recent dip to $1200 and currently at $1400.

If you are going to compare both price, you'll see how volatile bitcoin really is compared to Ethereum but both are good investments specially for swing trades these days.
