Re: Did bitcoin lose its value?

So did bitcoin has losen its value with usd? If yes then similarly other fiat currencies like usdb, usdt etc. also lose their value with devaluation of us dollar.
There's no way we should consider the current state of Bitcoin as having lost its value when we view it from the prism of its present price. If anything, it gained value. It's a pandemic at hand at the moment, yet the price keeps soaring and more users get added on its network from patronage. Take a perusal of fiat standing against Bitcoin, dollar and pounds inclusive, and you will observe that from $3,500 in February-March this year to well over $11,000 now shows value addition to Bitcoin. It's value that causes demand; and demand paves way for price increase. And this is what is happening with Bitcoin. Technically, for me, Bitcoin has gained more value than all fiat at this time.
Increasing price doest not mean more users are adding to the network.

Bitcoin is not pegged to the USD, it is only prices against it, it can equally be priced against other fiat assets, gold as well as other cryptocurrencies. This means that a decrease in the value of one currency would lead to a increase in Bitcoin's value when prices against it, this becomes clearer when we consider that Bitcoin has surpassed its recent all time high, against several currencies which has suffered huge inflation.
So you say bitcoin rose due to inflation in other surrencies?

Did bitcoin lose its value?
In the era of pandemic 2020, Federal Reserve Bank printed paper currency notes which ultimately decreased the value of us dollar USD. And in that period, Bitcoin btc was also stagnant and did not move much. So did bitcoin has losen its value with usd? If yes then similarly other fiat currencies like usdb, usdt etc. also lose their value with devaluation of us dollar.

Re: Tokens.net SCAM EXCHANGE! Stay away! 7000 USD they don't confirm!

Come one guys! Binance doesn't want id verification up to 2 BTC.

I tolked with someone Tokens.net verified his account without verification.

They still didnt open my account.

If a client submits fake, Photoshopped documents that creates a legal issue and Tokens.net may be forced to block an account. We take identity theft seriously and will not tolerate it. Trying to pressure Tokens.net on social media to back down will not work in such cases.

No comments on the above? Surprised this thread is not removed yet @Cyrus.

You have literally supported tokens.net in all this thread without any proof or anything else.

Re: Bitcoin offline wallet suggestion

If you want a list of good and trusted offline wallet you may visit this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246017.msg54366883#msg54366883

The title of the thread is "Bitcoin offline wallet suggestion".
The OP states "[...] I want to know about any bitcoin offline wallet [...]"

And you link to a topic called "Best altcoin wallet" in the altcoin section including a list of all kinds of wallets for altcoins ?

Posts like this are a prime example for the use of a demerit button.

@OP
There are multiple kinds of offline storage options. It all depends on what exactly you want or need.
They all differentiate in usability, cost, security and maintenance.

The most relevant options are
  • Paper Wallets
  • Hot-/Cold Storage Setups with 2 devices
  • Hardware Wallets (kind of cold wallet; but not completely)

If you could describe your actual use-case a bit more closely, we would be able to give you better suggestions meeting your criteria.
I want to know about any wallet for windows where security is the first priority and breaking in through Internet should be difficult. Paper wallets can be good for it or hardware wallet?

I don't know what you mean by "includes no third party", but this might be what you are looking for: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/desktop/windows/armory/

I believe that other wallets have offline modes, but I don't which ones -- maybe Electrum?
I meant is there any offline wallet which was built by Satoshi Nakamoto. In addition to it where Satoshi has stored his bitcoins? In an offline wallet? If yes then which one?

Hello. I want to know about any bitcoin offline wallet which includes no third party. And can that wallet be hacked if I don't input any kind of malicious file or connect the device to Internet?

You should burst this MYTH
by
HammadAli
on 31/12/2019, 05:53:53 UTC
I often hear people quoting that some country (most of the times China) is positive towards blockchain and are thinking to using it in their country, so they are also  positive towards Bitcoin.

This is just a myth. To be honest Bitcoin and Blockchain are separable. Blockchain can sustain without crypto but crypto cannot without blockchain.

In recent times Bitcoin moved from 7k range to more than 10k may be with the news of China president talking about blockchain. Then people were saying that China is positive towards crypto but things were not that good. And now things are on the same page again.

So burst this myth that where blockchain is Bitcoin will also be there.

I wonder how much money TAGZ payed to coinmarketcap so they can lit them as TOP exchange?

People should STOP using this exchanges with top fake volume, and STOP using coinmarketcap website.

These sites include Hotbit, Tagz, P2pb2b and many more. CoinMarketCap is ruining the little bit of transparency in crypto exchanges.

For now they do not expire, but in the future they may.
Meaning there is no such policy which says they will expire?

Its safer not to disclose their location to anybody, its just a normal procedure be rest assured that binance is a very good crypto exchange, after the last hack on the exchange few thought its over but they refund all lost funds to owners, they have good reputation and they care about it

Okay. The thing is scammers dont choose you. You choose people to scam you. And Binance can be one of them. CAN BE!!!

I think why you want to know the Binance office do you want to go there to see it in person? Binance is a popular exchange and they might keep it a secret, and I've seen a number of articles that Binance's office is in Shanghai, but that was also denied by Binance so I don't know which is true.
So basically you are flowing with the wind. But just watch out from the time when this wave will put you in a dead end.

If you've been listening or reading about crypto news you must have heard about this countless time about their head office, even fake news says police bust binance head office too but turn the table on yourself, if you are the owner will you tell stranger? Anyways, binance has its headquarters in Malta after shifting out of China and Japan subsequently. The company started in china but had to shift its servers and headquarters out of the country due to a government ban on cryptocurrency trading. I expect this should be enough for you

So a customer to them is  a stranger? Lets talk about BANCOR. As per information given by their chat, its headquarters is in Switzerland and technical HQ is in Tel Aviv. So why BANCOR told me as i was also a stranger?

Today i contacted Binance via their Support and a customer service agent joined the chat. I just wanted to know where Binance headquarter is? And then you can just have a look at the chat.

I contacted the support three times and on all occasions i got the same answer. My question is simple. I am not asking for exact location i just want to know the country and the city. According to them i dont even have the right to know who is handling with my money.

Re: Exchanges Tokens

BNB has a large community supporting it outside the Binance exchange. Is not it? The success of an exchange coin directly depends on the reputation of the exchange itself. BNB is a great example when the exchange’s reputation has allowed its coin to become successful.
So if binance gets hard times would BNB the same as it is now? Binance just manipulates the price of BNB by supporting it so it cannot drop through non influencencial demand and supply. Are they afraid of it?

Re: Reality of tokens
by

It turns out that it is very easy to make tokens on an ICO and there is not much capital spent so it is very easy for fraud projects to occur like they are now without work but can produce so much, this is the problem we have to solve so that the ICO scamer project does not grow and become more rampant.
Crypto has to be fair for acceptability. Otherwise this will lead it into a dead end.

Re: Reality of some Deflation tokens

BOMB is still around  and doing well I think, but the hype surrounding it has faded greatly, it's not what it used to be back when deflation coins were da Bomb... literally!.

Just like anything in Crypto, anything is possible and we might be seeing a comeback in the future especially deflationary coins with a usecase.
Bomb literally had no product or services. They were just creating hype.
