Re: What are Defi Projects?
by

My question is what is a defi project. One of my crypto friend was telling me to buy tokens with slippage, what is a slippage and what are some good defi or slippage projects ongoing to invest,
Thank you for the help

DeFi project simply is anything that traditional finance do, but its on the blockchain, example Saving and Lending activity, Trading activity (Decentralized Exchange), Deposit (Staking), and many else.
Slippage is a percentage of difference between the price expected over the price executed, so its not a projects.
I dont really know what hype on the DeFi right now, but two of DeFi im following right now is OMM Finance from ICX blockchain and Birb from BSC blockhain.

I see, so that means slippage is just a kind of fee cut.
One of my friend ask me to invest in Dogomoongo, Whenlambo and Vulkania. Are they good?

Thanks mate, its very helpful, I feel I am a noob in crypto again. Smiley

Hello guyz, I wasn't online to this great forum due to my health issues for the past three years, And when I returned back yesterday I realized plenty of changes in crypto world. I had many altcoins and when I checked thr prices for the last three years in CMC I realized I missed a huge chance of making money, forget to mention most cons I had are dead now.
My question is what is a defi project. One of my crypto friend was telling me to buy tokens with slippage, what is a slippage and what are some good defi or slippage projects ongoing to invest,
Thank you for the help

There is no real reason not to have faith in bitcoin, you should see the yearly stats and then you will have the positive feelings about it.

Yes. There is. We personally can't understand it yet, maybe we even keep such projects in our portfolios. But what can we do about it?
Nothing you can do mate.
Most projects will vanish but most technical files remain for the next coin.

There always been many scam developers trying to sell presale or abandon coin when they have good profits, they make new project to scam further. We should only stick to the top coins.

Thats kinda hard to gain profits and too risky, the best thing is to buy at low and sell after a nice pump no matter if you wait for a few months.

I think that those people who are not nervous and do not make emotional decisions receive the maximum profit. That's why I also want to learn to turn off emotions in the crypto currency market.

I second you, emotions needs to stay out and patience is the key in order to gain a success here. Other wise its hard to get good results.

The first thing is the blockchain, the contract, the dev team, and ofcourse the marketing of the coin. Then comes the community.

It is actually so sad that we are saying "it is very positive, ether will be $500 at the end of the year", which is one third of last years price.  Undecided However, this is good for a healthy market, so I'm okay with it.

I believe things are going okay for now, as I remember every bull happened at the last part (q4) of the year, so I expect a rise in prices around November-December. But a bullrun like last year will only come in 2019 or even 2020 imo.

Yes one third as per the last year prices but crypto was hammered in 2018 and standing at the current price is not that bad. I believe as soon as the bull run comes later this year the prices will go back to normal.
