In my opinion, eloncity is a good choice and I'm currently following its progress. Another project that I find really interesting is Menlo One, an ICO marketplace set to launch its token sale soon.. you guys should check both projects out....
Most of the reasons you all have indicated is clearly the reasons why the prices hit so low on exchange. But if the team behind projects are competent enough on what they're doing, they could bounce back the price. The problem is the team behind each scam projects are just focusing on and before the project is listed, and not minding what will happen after it hits exchange. Those all can be prevented if the project are well planned including the factors that would affect their coins/tokens AFTER it hits exchange. Right now, I still have faith on ICO projects based on the team behind them, currently I have been following EOT and MENLO.
I'm not messing with ICOs until they go through Menlo One's review/ICO marketplace system. Rating websites like ICObench or ICOrating are generally useful, but not 100% accurate since I've joined some of their recommend projects which turned out to be empty promises.
Have you guys looked into OPP and MENLO tokens? They both have a good team behind them and they will surely succeed as an ICO, Right now they are on there way to be listed on live exchanges like bitfinex and binance.
good choices esp Menlo Tokens as they are not merely for hodling, but are mainly used to purchase positions in ICOs they list. My instincts tell me that this project will be a huge hit especially since it's the first ever decentralized ICO marketplace..

Re: [ANN]Ⓜ️ MENLO ONE Ⓜ️ COMPETITION & STOX PARTNERSHIP! [ICO]
I heard that Menlo One's ICO platform would be just like shopping in Amazon or viewing Twitter posts which sounds really awesome since something so complicated like the blockchain is somehow simplified for the not-so-tech-savvy group of people. As a trader myself though, I wanted to confirm whether ICOs through Menlo would involve bids and asks just like in trading? Are you ensured a piece once you "click" the buy button?
Hello heartrodriguez28 thanks for the question! Users of Menlo One have the option to use our "EarlyBird Protocol", which means that you can fund your chosen ERC20 compatible wallet before a sale and set it to buy tokens from your chosen ICO as soon as the ICO begins - Your funds will be automatically transferred to the ICO meaning that you will not miss out on the sale if it sells out.
The platform will not have bid and asks funstionality for the ICO's as the projects themselves choose their own token price.
I hope this answers your question, if not please feel free to contact us further, or join the Menlo One Telegram group and chat directly with the team! https://t.me/Menloone
Thanks again! Ⓜ️
Being able to set buys even before launch is a pretty sweet feature imo. I remember one time I had to wake up at 3am for an ICO that started at 5am just so I won't miss it! Are you guys able to disclose the minimum amount that can be bought during your token sale?

I'm perplexed as to why Menlo One doesn't have that many mentions here in bitcointalk while it's a hot topic everywhere else... It just announced its token sale launch this July and I really think it's gonna be worth it, given that it will be the first ever ICO marketplace run by good devs. This is a video of Korean Jew interviewing Menlo one's CEO where they discuss details of the project https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=884&v=Rw1QBpBYE6o
As everyone should be. Do your due diligence on the founders, the product and their community channels. If it's too good to be true - stay away. You want a sustainable project in a long term, not fast cash, but hella risky!
Yeah ICOs are very risky investments nowadays not only because of scams, but also because their security hasn't really been tested yet.
There's an upcoming token sale for Menlo One https://www.menlo.one that aims to build a decentralized ICO marketplace to hopefully solve this problem. Its whitepaper explains how it can be done, but I'd like to hear your opinion if this project is worth our investment? I've watched a couple of interviews of its founder and he does seem sincere and knows what he is doing though..
I think some have excellent white papers, but still end up badly due to either bad admin decisions or for being scams in the first place.
Out of 100 ICOs, about 5 or even more of them can turn out to be the either one mentioned above. Social platforms censoring "real" opinions or known personalities paid to market shit coins is making the word ICO look bad.
On the other hand, has anyone else noticed this upcoming platform/token sale? https://www.menlo.one I think this will be a game changer as it aims to expose scam/vaporware with its unique reward system. Haven't had time to go into details of this project, but was hoping someone could give me a tldr if this is could possibly be a good project to participate in?
I dont think every crypto will survive, there are some scam coins and tokens, and also they could be dead by decision of the developers
True.. some coins were just made to scam people and then close down as soon as devs get their desired amount. Some coins end up dead because of bad decisions..
Here's a website that will help you determine which ICOs are good to invest in or not https://www.menlo.one They will soon launch this coming July to become the very first ICO marketplace wherein you can easily find the good and bad ICOs based on unbiased community discussions (contributors get paid to make honest posts). It's the first of its kind and hopefully, will lessen the number of scams in crypto as well as make it easier to spot good ICOs.
Has anyone looked into Paybear? They have a fully functioning service (provide a payment gateway) for ecommerces and are on the verge of launching their token, so basically all the current webshop owners who are already accepting the big cryptos with their API will automatically be able to accept the token as a payment method, does this sound big?
You have services such as coinpayments which have support for vast amount of crypto already. Problem here is that however you are relaying on 3rd party service when in reality you don't have to. These services are okay since they host nodes and all that but with free APIs and a little of work you can create your own version of payment system and without the need to pay somebody for it. But easier way is to go with such payment services as they make it very easy.
Don't we still need to use payment gateways like how we use Paypal or credit cards for our purchases online? Do you mean merchants are able to do without using payment gateways?

My strategy is to continuously buy every month and never fail to do so. Also, I don't care what current price is, I just buy.. It's not a very smart nor is it the best strategy out there but it works long term especially with good asset selection.

I bet it's the same old pump and dump play.. Unless there's special news that would keep price on the moon?

$300-$500 should be a good start for you to get the feel of it. As you learn you can gradually increase your investment size so long as you don't recklessly base your decisions on extreme emotions.

it WAS a very good investment until now... We need to wait for all its issues to clear up before we can say that it's good to dive back in again. You can take the risk now, but it's probably not a good idea.

The chart still doesn't say much. Unless we see price go above $10k and holding with volume, then we could say that we are back on track.

Eth has a very stable price action compared to most other cryptos which investors like. On top of that, it is decentralized and pretty much secure just like Bitcoin.

If I get to live forever with a loved one, or better, my entire family, I would choose to do so. Otherwise, dying someday sounds more exciting and gives meaning to it all.

Obviously, a lot of new comers get victimized by the buy high sell low due to hype and uneducated trades. It's the trend for all beginners until they learn the hard way. I learned it the hard way too.

I learned the basics in stock trading and stayed for over 2 years.. When I found out that forex and crypto trading is very much similar, I decided to give them a try and found that cryptos trading is very much similar, although with higher potential gains.

By far, I think Bitcoin is the most trusted of all crypto coins. Although it is now expensive and takes time to confirm transactions, most people prefer security over speed and price.

I find it weird since I am not a bisexual, but it's probably important for the LGBT community as it is not their fault why they were born that way in the first place and who is to say that the rules made in the bible are not man-made?
