Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ?

My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
I think the profit from bitcoin mining is quite low at the moment. The cost for the extraction process is too high, the bitcoin price is low. If you want to exploit bitcoin or another currency you should consider carefully

At first, it was difficult for me to understand how everything works too and many people do not have any knowledge of blockchain technology, so there is a bit of negativity about bitcoin.
For beginners, you should explain simple bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not controlled by a central government or bank. You should analyze the negative points for them to understand

Bitcoin trading is proving to be quite beneficial for those who regularly use e-commerce. To pay online you must fill out all confidential information such as card number, expiration date ... to the web. That's why so many credit cards have been stolen recently. Meanwhile, Bitcoin trading does not require you to write any confidential information. You only need two types of keys that are the public key and the secret key. Anyone can see your public key but the secret key is only known by the owner

The popularity and market value of virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin ... are getting stronger and stronger, showing the welcome of investors, users and even governments. But in the near future, virtual currency is facing many difficulties. Despite the limitations and suspicions of its existence, virtual currency is still showing momentum as the value and acceptance increase day by day. Is it really the "money of the future"? It is difficult to answer this question, but virtual currency may indeed be the global currency of the present.

Twitter May Ban Advertising of Cryptocurrencies and ICO?

Hi guys it`s me again, and again I saw this information about the ban, but now for twitter.

BTCTwitter plans to prohibit advertising of cryptocurrencies and ICO, according to Sky News citing sources.BTC

First Facebook then Google, now Twitter is joining, what do you think about the market currency after these news? Is it real or only a big fake news blow before buying a lot of crypto?

Source:http://icowatchers.co/twitter-may-ban-advertising-of-cryptocurrencies-and-ico/
Twitter has added a new virtual currency-related advertising policy to ensure the safety of the social networking community. Accordingly, advertising for ICOs or selling tokens will be banned on Twitter, to prevent fraud through these tools.
However, the new policy still allows ads for virtual currency transactions or secure "e-wallet" services provided by companies listed on some major exchanges.

Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet

The power of bitcoin lies in the decentralized coin side (no third party intervention) so all bitcoin holders can manage it independently. Bitcoin also offers anonymous transactions, this can provide benefits from bitcoin holders who want to keep their data private.
Virtual currencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and ZenCash are built on "proof-of-work" algorithms that validate and create new blocks for Blockchain. This means that every computer in the blockchain network will act as a "book keeper" to ensure every transaction is transparent. This is a very secure system. To overcome it, you need to control more than half the network in the network or get the computing power to pass half of that node. It's hard to crack it

There are many ways to check your money from virtual currency. Most people make money by translating. You should learn a variety of ways to make money and choose a way that suits you. You should not participate in many ways, the results will not be high, profits will not be much

Theres alot of people that didint they know that bitcoin is our new future. I all they know that theres many people are so rich even the poor man ever can possiblity to become a richer if he know how to work that bitcoin maybe the bitcoin will arise against to the people who needy some materials or anything that we needed... Shocked
Bitcoins have helped many people to become rich. In just five years, the virtual currency has risen to 11 million percent. Everyone is involved in Bitcoin for a variety of reasons. Some simply buy because they see prices soaring, and do not want to miss the opportunity. This is the "bubble psychology" criticized by many critics. Others claim the block technology behind Bitcoin is a replacement for the current financial system

The value of the virtual currency market has dropped by $ 600 billion, or 75% since its peak in January, according to data from coinmarketcap.com. The virtual currency market has experienced explosions, then recovered and again fall into the old state. A large number of people have invested in money in the past year and people have been facing bankruptcy for a long time.

What parameters should someone check when trying to choose an exchange to work with?
First I care about the price, the transaction fee. I also care about the trader. Also, you need to pay attention to avoid cheating

Why would I want to keep BTC in my investment portfolio? That's most hyped and quite overvalued coin I'd say.
There are other more technologically advanced coins. Is it because of "digital gold" and store of value properties?

The potential of bitcoin is huge, you should keep bitcoin again. You can earn a lot of profits. There are many reasons for you to keep it

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I anticipate it still exists or will appear another alternate bitcoin. But 100 years later, you are dead. If bitcoin still exists, it does not make sense to you. You should evaluate the existence of bitcoin for 50 years

Re: Bitcoin is like heroin
by

Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.
I find you compare bitcoin with heroin is not correct. Bitcoin is not like heroin, it makes life much better. It brings people income, which is quite different from what you compare

I think that every hour mining bitcoin becomes less profitable and more complex. Tell me yours opinion guys plz
Digging bitcoin is not too complicated, you just have the basic knowledge about cryptocurrency and most importantly you need to have big capital. The digging of bitcoins is getting harder because of the increasing number of diggers. The profit from it is not very high

Re: Future of altcoins without Bitcoin
by
HarleyQuinn9876
on 27/12/2017, 14:18:14 UTC
Hello!

With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.

I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.

Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?

I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.
Bitcoins have a huge impact on altcoins. The price of bitcoin decreases, leading to lower prices for altcoins. But I still believe that the bitcoin and other altcoins will grow and develop well again. If bitcoin is dead, maybe another currency will replace it
